Chicken Spot in Rotterdam Centrum

I don’t normally leave reviews, but in this case I simply had to. Wonderful experience. Calming and clean environment. The nugs were succulent and moist and the chips were hot, crispy and fresh. Would highly recommend.

When I came in here I was in a rush. When I left here, I felt serene…the trials and tribulations of life are so little in comparison to the wider picture. Chicken spot is the takeaway equivalent of grounding

To be honest, this was not the best burger or chicken burger I have had. The spicy chicken burger was very small and did not match the price. The portion size was disappointing, and overall it felt too expensive for what was offered. The service was good, but the food did not meet my expectations.

I'm very disappointed with my order from Chicken Spot. I paid extra for sauces and I didn't even receive them. The burger was really bad, the fries were cold and not good at all, and the same went for the chicken drumsticks, which weren't good either. Frankly, for the price I paid, the quality and service were not up to par.

6 hot wings, fries, and a double cheeseburger. We were on holiday in Rotterdam and Chicken Spot was right next to our hotel – simply perfect, highly recommended! 👍🏻

I got food poisoning after eating a burger and hot wings here. I don't know how you prepare that chicken, but I hope the Food and Drug Administration happens to stop by someday!

Rarely have I experienced anything like this. Ordered something three times, but even that was too much trouble: never seen anything like it.

There were mice running around in the building last week, a filthy mess, they should close it down. There were rats walking around in the shop last time, absolutely disgusting!

Expensive, they're charging me for cheese without asking. It's great that you're open late, but do something with the money you take from people who have had a few drinks. There were people standing behind me who, without paying attention, didn't get any change for a €5 order when they paid with €20.

Decent chicken. A hefty price. Why are you trying to sell me a plastic bag when I'm eating my chicken sandwich in your place? So you want to make 0.40 on a plastic bag? Because I saw you do it to the other customers too. That's pretty pathetic.

Honestly, I really like Chicken Spot, but this was a disaster! We ordered a tenders meal with a wings meal... the tenders were frozen, and the wings were frankly awful! Almost a rip-off considering the prices... The owner of Chicken Spot would be furious to see this! A truly terrible experience! Everything needs to be rethought!

Upon arrival, I joked that €3 for a burger couldn't be right. Three guesses... stomach ache!

Nine times out of ten, the chicken from Chicken Spot is truly the best chicken you can get in Rotterdam and the surrounding area! That crispy crust?! Seriously, how do they do it? It's sooooo delicious! Unfortunately, the chicken is sometimes very greasy, making it no longer crispy. That's a real shame. I don't think they let it drain properly before putting it in a bag. I also think it's a bit pricey, and sometimes delivery takes a long time.

Never eaten there and will never eat there again. The burger: pricey, bread was soggy, chicken tough and too much seasoning; you're better off going to KFC. Service: I was ordering and the gentleman asked if I wanted a single burger or a menu. I hadn't even finished speaking when the gentleman ignored me, went to do something else, and later he offered to help me after all; very poor service.

Tried the chicken spot on the Meent during a break between tours, and unfortunately, it was a letdown across the board. The chicken was wet and bland, the portion overpriced at nearly €30, and the service was almost non-existent — even though it wasn’t busy. To make things worse, a few of us actually felt sick afterwards and had to cancel our plans for the evening. As TourGuys, we’re always on the lookout for great local spots to recommend to our guests, but this one definitely won’t be making the list. Rotterdam has so much better to offer — skip this place and treat yourself somewhere else.

The spicy hot wing was delicious, served quickly, and the staff were very friendly.

We ordered food here and deliberately received the wrong products. Because their products could not be delivered. After calling twice to resolve the issue, we did not receive decent service. In fact, they claimed that we had ordered incorrectly, which is absolutely not true. No apologies, no resolution, just bad service and money lost.

I ordered a cheeseburger( for 4euros )to take away. While eating, I realized that the burger tastes exactly like McDonald's! Is this a fake? Did they just buy the burger from McDonald's?

I've been patronizing Chicken spot for over a year now, and for very good reasons, I like how tender and juicy the deep fried chicken are, the hospitality of their staff and their prompt delivery. If you're in Rotterdam and a meat lover, give them a try and share your experience with others 😊

We ordered on Saturday evening and were first told that there were no more fries and that we got chicken instead of fries, which wasn't so bad. But the chicken was inedible, the can of Fanta was warmer than the food itself (literally). The next day I became very ill (think food poisoning), the hamburger was still edible, otherwise poor service. The gentleman hangs up when I am in the middle of a sentence. Delivery person was very nice (only highlight of the evening)

I wasn't expecting anything basic and I took menu 19 I think it's safe for two the chicken was tender the breading had just been done and the dicks were well spiced, the fries were fresh too. Maybe I was lucky and I arrived at the right time but I saw some big negative points: the extra sauces at 1€ each, the seats too tight and the music much too loud and unbearable

Not worth repeating. I think the photo says enough. Next time just go to KFC

How this case has deteriorated. Food is indescribable. Nasty hot wings and I ate burger tikka massive the other day, horrible! It was not cooked properly, watery and the spices were dripping off. I'm really upset with the service at this fast food restaurant. My experience turned bad when, after we ordered and paid, the staff suddenly told us dogs aren't allowed! When I asked why they didn't say so earlier, they were rude and quickly packed our food to go. They didn't explain well and acted unfriendly, which made me feel really disappointed. I wouldn't suggest this place to anyone! I couldn't rate it zero stars, but giving it even one star feels like too much for this place!!

Food available to us very quickly. However, the chicken was mediocre, not bad but it tasted like the chicken had been fried for a while. The food was ready quickly.

Well, but it differs per person who works there, at the one from Bijerlandselaan the rolls were moldy on the bottom, completely green and the cheese not melted. But in the city it is good unless you ordered a few times the order was not complete

Lady at the counter asks which sauce I want, while she only has 1 sauce. Pepsi is advertised everywhere, while they only have light Pepsi in stock. I then got a Capri Sun in the wrong flavor, with a hole in the bottom, which made a whole puddle on the table. Food tasted like cardboard. Burger was half the size of the bun. I paid more than was stated on the price list. I would just close the case...

It’s so nice for this outlet to still open at this hour. The Turkish counter staff did an excellent job for me to prepare my food. I was on fried chicken craving at midnight. Awesome spot for anyone who want to have a fried chicken party time at that hour!

Not a bad spot for late night eats. I lucked out and they made everything in the fryer fresh for my order. Fries were crispy, chicken was crunchy but not oily and the spicy cheese nuggets were pretty good. Poor lady busting her butt by herself for a while so she was a touch cranky. The place is clean enough. Honestly, I liked it enough when in a late night pinch that I would go again.

Niet slecht het eten beter dan de binneweg. De kip en patat was er oke. Alleen beppen ze er graag op los met denk vrienden die zo binnekomen. Waardoor je als klant iets langer moet wachten. Ik had echt trek daarom bleef ik maar, maar anders had ik zo weg gegaan.

I always come here when I am in Beurs or Blaak. It's fast food and is just a standard fried chicken shop. They speak English, Urdu, Punjabi and the service is fast. The the kitchen area is clean and the food prices is roughly £5 -£7 per meal which is like €6-€9 - Everything in the menu is halal. P.S. There are two more branches that I know of! One in Rotterdam Alexander, next to the metro stop and one in The Hague.

I had the Chicken Tikki Sandwich with a 5 piece Spicy Wing, and my friend had the Tikki Wrap with Spicy Wings. It was affordable and tasty.
