Incredibly good tacos 🌮 Unfortunately, we don't have these restaurants in Germany. Very delicious, fresh, and incredibly friendly service.

Chidoz, please do better! I’ve been coming here for the bowls for years and years, ordering and/or picking up. But lately, I’ve noticed that the quality is SO inconsistent. One time it’s a well-filled bowl with good, fresh ingredients, but more often than not, there’s little content, the wrong items, or even forgotten items. And today was no exception; the bowl wasn't even half full. I think maybe 3 tablespoons of rice in the bowl. Barely any contents, beans nowhere to be found. 4 pieces of meat. Yeah, it’s just heartbreaking 😭😭😭 Sorry, but for €15, I find that truly scandalous! Pleaaaaase Chidoz, do better! Be consistent with your service and quality, train your staff better to ensure they pay close attention to what goes into an order and the correct quantities! Because if this continues, you’re only going to lose customers 😢😢😢

Very unprofessional treatment – ​​Chidoz Haarlem (August 5 around 17:25) Today, around 17:25, I visited the Chidoz branch in Haarlem. Unfortunately, I had a very unpleasant experience there. When I entered, there were two employees present. After some time, an employee, who seemed to be in charge, asked what I wanted to order. I ordered: 2 Chicken Quesadillas with extra corn. Her first reaction was: “Vegan?” to which I replied: “No, chicken with extra corn.” From that moment on, I immediately got the feeling that she was irritated. She looked at me visibly annoyed, rolled her eyes, and shook her head in disbelief. Next, she asked in a blunt tone if I wanted to eat it here or take it away. A moment later, she called me to the cashier to pay. However, the screen showed 1 quesadilla, while I had clearly ordered 2. I have been a regular visitor to Chidoz Haarlem for over three years now and always order the same thing, so I knew something wasn't right. Therefore, I calmly asked if the order was correct. From that moment on, the situation escalated completely. The employee reacted visibly frustrated, threw the quesadilla away instead of putting it on the grill, and literally said: “You can go. You won't be served if you talk to me like that.” I remained calm and said: “Sorry, but the only person who has been irritated from the start is you. You aren't even listening to what I want to order.” Next, I asked for her name. She refused to give it. I indicated that I would file a complaint, to which she replied with a laugh: “You can do that, because all complaints end up with me anyway.” When I said that I would file the complaint after all, she became angry again and literally said: “You don't need to come anymore at all, because you won't be served.” Frankly, I find this unacceptable. After a long workday, I simply came to get something to eat. Instead, I was treated unkindly without any provocation, was denied food, and was even told that I am no longer welcome. I understand that everyone can have an off day now and then, but this behavior is absolutely not befitting of a professional employee who is supposed to help customers with respect. I hope that this complaint is taken seriously and that appropriate measures are taken so that other customers do not have to go through the same experience. Sincerely, Monika

Annoying staff with an attitude. I have been here several times where the staff serve you with contempt. There is no patience, or they do not take into account how you want your order. On one occasion, a supervisor was snapping at another staff member in front of customers, which created a very unpleasant and uncomfortable atmosphere. Another time, I was served by someone who kept sighing at everything I said. When I asked if the cheese could be melted, they made a fuss. It is a real shame because the food itself is fine. After a long day of work, I expect to be served properly. I understand that it is not a Michelin-starred restaurant, but this is really bad. The last time, I walked out and went to eat somewhere else. I am not going to spend money somewhere where the staff does not treat you and each other with respect.

Waited over an hour for my food to arrive. When it got here it was cold and soggy. Good one to skip 👍

Just received an order of 3 items, one of which was missing. After calling Chidoz, I was told I could come pick it up. When I said I didn't consider this good service, the response was: "I hope you have the day you deserve," and then they hung up.... Fire them immediately!

When I lived in Haarlem this was the place to go. Loved the burritos. Absolute class 🔥🔥🔥

Unfortunately, inflation seems to have found its way inside the burritos too. I remember when these things were so stuffed I could barely get a grip on them, now they look like an 80-year-old bodybuilder who’s lost all the muscle they once had.

We stood in line for a very long time. After that, I was expected to know exactly how everything worked. I had just ordered something and didn't get a receipt or order number. When I asked if hot sauce could be added, the response was irritated: “Yes, then I’ll have to make a completely different one.” So I said that wasn't necessary; I just wanted it a bit spicier. When it came time to pay, the employee didn't understand at all; she thought she had already given me my food. I had to ask for a drink myself, and I wasn't allowed to pay with cash because it was too busy. Eventually, after I mentioned it, I got my burrito after all. They *did* ask my friend if he wanted something to drink. When he said no, the employee responded: “Great!” The whole experience was a real shame, because the food was actually tasty.

There is zero mexican experience. Especially the food quantity is much lower compared to regular standards (no where close to mexican standards). Every spoon of food is counted as extra. I had spent about 13 eur to get something which is a half meal.

Great burritos! Quick and friendly services for first time burrito eaters

Ordered via Thuisbezorgd, never arrived, but it said it had already been delivered. We then called, and the lady on the phone didn't understand anything at all and gave some vague story, but she said she would look into it. Called again 40 minutes later, and then she shifted the blame to Thuisbezorgd and told us we just had to resolve it through them. No food after waiting 1.5 hours for it. You won't see me again.

Got lunch here on Monday afternoon. Was served very unfriendly and curtly by the girl behind the counter with the brown ponytail.

I found a piece of bone in my burrito, about 2 centimeters long. When I alerted the staff I got the feeling that it wasn't the first time there was a piece of bone found in the chicken pan. So be careful! Scary to think a child could eat something like that.

The food itself is good, but the service is poor. It really depends on which employee is making your food. There's one friendly, English-speaking woman with glasses who is very generous with the rice and chicken, and if you're lucky, the others are very stingy with the amount they give you. They act as if they have to pay for everything out of their own pocket. And then you end up paying a hefty price for your food with minimal toppings. I asked if I could have some extra chicken because the amount she gave me was so small. I had to pay extra for that, while when the other woman is there, I don't have to because she just gives you a well-filled bowl. It shouldn't matter who makes your food! So for now, this was my last time.

Order here regularly and it's always delicious!

My guacamole was forgotten when I ordered it. I paid extra, and it was the thing I was most looking forward to! Disappointed in Chidoz.

At 7:30 PM, I placed an order. It said delivery would take 40 to 60 minutes. After waiting an hour, they still weren't making my order. I called the restaurant to ask if it had gone through, as the money had already been debited. I spoke to a very unfriendly woman who told me my order would only go through when a delivery driver was available. Why are they accepting orders when there aren't any? I explained to the woman that I have type 1 diabetes and that I couldn't wait a bit longer, but otherwise I'd go get something to eat. My response was an irritated, "What do you want?" and I was asked to contact Thuisbezorgd. Ultimately, I waited almost two hours for my food. That happens, but the way your staff talks to customers is unacceptable.

Power burritos are SO delicious. My boyfriend absolutely loves the classic.

Always great burritos, fresh and quickly prepared. A vegan burrito is surprisingly delicious and filling. You don't have to eat a ton of greasy or unhealthy ingredients afterward, and you have a more relaxed evening. I always get takeout, highly recommended. You get your food quickly and it's nice and warm, or even piping hot.

Really cute restaurant tucked into a busy street just steps from the Haarlem train station. Our bowls were made to order quickly and the portions were very generous. The meals were an excellent value! Everything was delicious and the additiin of pineapple to the bowls was a fun surprise. Highly recommended, and they also do a busy take out service as well.

The food is okay. The service is terrible. I ordered at 5:30 PM last Saturday and picked up the meal myself at 7:45 PM. I called several times between 5:30 and 7:00 PM. It's bizarre that I'm then told the meal is on its way. And when I call again, I'm told it still needs to be made. Why do restaurants accept orders if they can't handle it? The restaurant referred us to Thuisbezorgd—and you wouldn't expect it—but of course, they don't answer the phone either. At 7:30 PM, I told them we'd pick it up ourselves and immediately asked for (appropriate) compensation. They had some time to think about it. They could even give five drinks as a gift, but that turned out to be too much. So, I was forced to give one star.

Terrible service, delivery takes more than 1,5 hour. And they cancel your order last minute, personnel on the phone is rude.

Ordered food from Chidoz. Dinner never delivered and Chidoz no longer reachable.... Bad service. Delivery was via Uber, by a certain Pavel. He is also not reachable. Very vague.

Food is really tasty and fresh. It is prepared in front of you and the flavors are there. Hygiene is also very good.

I wanted to eat at Chidoz, I asked the employee what halal is, and he said chicken. Then I asked to see the package the chicken came in. The chicken was from the Driessen Food butcher's shop, there was nothing on the packaging that said it was halal and I couldn't find anything about halal on the butcher's website either.

The food isn’t bad, but the service is horrible. The personnel is pedantic to the customers and you almost feel like you’re doing them a favor, instead of feeling like a welcomed customer. The Dutch speaking girl is the worst, she treats you like she doesn’t you to be a customer.

Super nice place with large portions and cozy atmosphere. I recommend to try quesadilla with hot sauces.

I have gotten food here several times now. My favorite is the classic burrito. Good flavors and well filled. The staff is always friendly and you will be helped quickly. You can also sit here quietly for a quick bite. I'm a fan!

Ordered here several times, really loved it! Unfortunately, I was disappointed the last 4 times, wrong burritos, wrong toppings and pineapple in my burrito (I'm allergic). The final straw was that my friend (who is vegetarian) had meat in his burrito twice. We thought the girl on the phone was really sweet! She resolved it well, but we will not order from here again. Shame!

I ordered four burritos from Chidoz Haarlem last Friday, and unfortunately, both a friend and I got food poisoning from it. My friend experienced stomach pain shortly after eating, while my symptoms kicked in later that night. I woke up feeling like my stomach was about to explode, spent the entire night vomiting, and suffered from severe stomach pain and diarrhea for two days. My friend had the same symptoms, except he didn’t vomit. This was by far the worst food experience I’ve ever had. I am extremely disappointed and concerned about the food safety at this place. I would strongly advise others to be cautious when ordering from here.

Ordered two beef burritos for takeaway- employee dumped pineapple hot sauce all over them and added tofu. Huge waste of money we couldn’t eat them it was so gross.

Favourite place to have burrito, my personal choice is classic burrito with an extra sweet potato. Juicy, delicious and always fresh ingredients. Staff are friendly and working fast.

80 minutes to deliver x1 burrito to a place 1.1km away! Probably the slowest service from anywhere in Haarlem I've ordered from. The food is quite OK, but the delivery is too inconsistent to place any further orders from here.

Got a Macho Nacho Bowl via Social Deal. Staff friendly and a nice clean place. There are also some indoor seating areas to eat on site. My bowl was highly recommended. Lots of delicious fresh ingredients and prepared before my eyes. For the SD Price I will always go there again :)

Wonderful concept Just like at a "subway" where you put together your own sandwich, this is also the case here at Chidóz. You put together your Burrito yourself. Fantastic place in Haarlem near the station. You really have to eat there or pick up to eat it at home. Well attended eatery with friendly staff.

I love this place! It’s very chill and with vouchers it costs around 20 euros for 2 people. The food was so big that I couldn’t even eat it all! And it was done in a small 5-10 minutes. Absolute best Mexican place of the Netherlands! Thanks for the good food guys!

We stopped in this nice & cozy restaurant on our daytrip to Haarlem and it was great! I had spicy vega Quesadillas and my partner a vega Burrito bowl and both were delicious. The food was more then enough but we had to take some chocolate churros to go for later (which were so good!).Also the service was helpful and very friendly. I highly recommend this place.

Regrettably, I am changing my rating from 5 to 1 star after the most recent delivery, as enough is enough. We have been loyal customers since the restaurant opened and, while the food is great and fresh, there are two significant issues: 1. Every time we order, items are always missing. Instead of replacing them, we are dismissed and told to ask for a refund. It’s fair but didn’t solve the fact you didn’t get what you ordered . 2. Delivery times are highly inconsistent. Depending on the day and time, it can take up to 1.5-2 hours to receive an order, especially on weekends. Due to these ongoing problems, we will no longer be ordering from this restaurant.

I ordered a vegan burrito to go, I arrived home and after having some bites, it was chicken!! I was doubtful at first because nowadays the meat replacements feel very real, but this was certainly chicken. What a real bummer that i had to eat chicken

I had 2 burritos and 2 quesadillas everything was almost cold. I asked for the burritos without beans and unfortunately it was just there. And mine unfortunately had hard rice on it and most of it was rice. 45 euros spent way too much for what you get. Not for me anymore unfortunately.

Similar to other places I know, where you can build your own dish and they did not disappoint. Very fresh ingredients, good guacamole, nicely balanced salsa verde. And I liked that the sweet potato as a vegetarian option was not just shredded, but cut into small fries and properly roasted. Bonus point for me was the availability of my favorite German lemonade: Fritz!

The best burrito I have had since moving to the Netherlands! I was not sure which sauce to add and the stuff was very helpful in explaining and even letting me try a sample before adding. And It is Halal … Amazing experience!

Very good food. The only weird thing is the opening times. It is never correct. Whether it is the opening times on the door, or on the website, it’s not accurate and everytime we walked past it was closed, even on normal times during the week. I suspect they are not doing very well financially, it was completely empty on a Saturday at lunchtime. We were the only customers there. Sad bcs I do really think their food is amazing

Nice sized portions. The classic chicken burrito was yummy. The Nacho's were cheesy, spicy, with the right amount of seasoning. The girl behind the counter was polite, attentive to my order and gave me extra Nacho's. I don't know about the other locations but the one in Haarlem close to the train station was superb quality dining. It was my first time eating there...but it won't be my last.

Been living in Haarlem for 3 years, and just came to this place for the first time last week, the food is super healthy and you can see that everything is made every day fresh, the staff is lovely and the decorations are great! They also have stamp cards and once full you get a free burrito and you got a new customer!
