Chinees Bistro Lunetten Utrecht in Wijk 07 Zuid

They just have given up. The staff doesn't care about its customers, the kitchen doesn't care about its food. I would suggest choosing something else when having an appetite for Chinese food.

Top restaurant, good service, lovely people and top food.

Saturday 7-6-2025 We went here for dinner again with my son The menu had changed, many new dishes. Also many vegetarian dishes. As a starter I had curry soup and my son soup Lunetten. As a side dish I had pisang goreng and my son pangsit goreng. As a main course I had fish with vegetables on a heated cast iron plate and I had chicken, meat and shrimp with vegetables on a heated cast iron plate. For dessert we had Dame Blanche. It was delicious, we will definitely come back here. We went here for dinner today with my son. It was really great. I had chicken soup as a starter and my son pangsit goreng. This was delicious. As a main course I had Teppan Chuen Siu. That is 3 types of grilled meat with vegetables served on a heated cast iron plate. My son had Teaam Harmonie. That is a harmonious marriage à trois of shrimp, beef and chicken with vegetables vegetables served on a heated cast iron plate. This was delicious. For dessert I had dame blanche and my son had pistachio ice cream, this was actually served with advocaat, but because he doesn't like that he got a chocolate ball instead of advocaat. We really liked the food. We will definitely come back here. A 10 with a stylus. Update Just ordered some delicious Chinese food at the Chinese bistro Lunetten. It is really delicious. Here is what we ate, among other things. 2 person combination menu with bami, babi pangang, chicken fillet in curry sauce and babi spek pangang. We also had wan-tan soup, regular and casava kroepoek, mini spring rolls, white rice and pang sit goreng. Was delicious again. I'm glad we can order there 😃😃😃😃

Mihoen is burnt, there are hard pieces in it. The meatballs are more dough than meat. The staff are touching the hair and then the cassava crackers. A grab a dog from the couch (in the restaurant) pets the dog and puts it back on the couch. And then goes to pack the order. A man in front of me had not received nasi. They had not checked the receipt. I did check, had everything but no receipt! Not to be repeated. Fortunately there is another Chinese in Lunetten.

Because I was going to eat a bit later I put the Lunetten loepia in the oven for a while...well I really enjoyed it, it was fantastic....

Picked up food last week. Very bad, babi pangang tasteless, sauce watery, satay tasteless even the satay sauce had little taste. Mini spring rolls also nothing, sauce also watery. Service was in the shop on the phone, no eye for us to order. They didn't have sambal, still had to be made, it was 18:15......maybe less on the phone and hop into the kitchen and throw some passion into it!!!

We don't understand the higher reviews. Tried several times. Below par every time, so not a bad day by accident. Last time I ordered the specialty chicken with cashew nuts with noodles and tomato soup. Watery sauce, almost raw vegetables and no love noticeable for that price. Bami with just some ham, still completely white in color, not even fried and tasteless. You pay 50 cents here if you want to take home a bowl of sambal. Tomato soup was edible, but just thick and sweet with some chicken pieces in it. Once again no passion to be discovered, or anything special. The taste of ready-made meal AH is not inferior to this, which is a shame. Who knows, maybe they want to improve themselves? Because otherwise you might as well stop.

5 euros for a beer is really ridiculous

Everything was well arranged and delivered on time

We ordered food that was delivered without plates. Plates were ice cold. Nasi and noodles without serving spoons. Filling glasses. Earmhoudtplatem literally went through the business. The waitresses didn't know which beer they were serving. Yellowcbad.

Just ate here on the way to our appointment. Delicious food! Unfortunately we don't live in Utrecht, but we will definitely sit down for dinner again. It is really worth visiting this restaurant.

Food is tasty! A bit expensive. But the restaurant looks more like a dirty dark hole with no atmosphere. Dirtier carpets, uncomfortable dark room, and dirty windows that you can barely see through. The staff owner was sleeping on a couch in the restaurant. There is also a dark, dirty mess in front of the door. Do something to make it light and cozy. 😻 If they are that dirty in the kitchen, you will quickly become ill.

Lekker wezen hier wezen eten met mijn zoon. Het was echt geweldig. Ik had als voorgerecht kippensoep en mijn zoon kerriesoep. Dit was heerlijk. Als hoofdgerecht had ik een Indische rijsttafel voor 1 persoon (was wel veel) met bami . Mijn zoon had Tipan hak tjil harmonie met zwarte pepersaus. Dat is een harmonische marriage à trois van garnalen, rundvlees en kip met groente groente geserveerd op een verhitte gietijzerenplaat. Dit was heerlijk. Als toetje had ik dame blanche en mijn zoon pistache ijs, dit werd eigenlijk geserveerd met advocaat, maar omdat hij dat niet lust kreeg hij een chocolade bolletje ipv advocaat. We vonden het echt goed eten. Hier gaan we zeker weten terugkomen. Een 10 met een griffel.

It has been forty years since I ate at this Chinese Restaurant. We lived in Lunetten at the time and were regular customers. Just like then, I ate well. Highly recommended if you want to have a bite to eat before a meeting in the conference center at Lunetten Station.

After a long day of work, fancy some Chinese. It was exactly what we needed and we even received a compliment for our hard work (jobs). Thanks and see you next time

Hier moet je gewoon een keer eten! Super lekker! Interieur is niet overeenkomstig het eten, het is heerlijk! Vooral de tipans! Proberen!

Onrustig eten ( wèl vers en lekker) omdat de deur openstaat...drukke kinderen verderop en thuisbezorgd loopt veel heen weer.

Vandaag voor de 85e verjaardag van Aart heerlijke gerechten verzorgd door bistro Lunetten. Catering was top! Alles tot in de perfectie geregeld. Super bedankt! Natuurlijk ook nog voor de bloemen en de wijn. Jullie zijn geweldig.

Prima bereid, smaakvol chin. Ind eten. Ruime keuze uit vegetarische gerechten. Sinds covid ligt de nadruk op afhalen.

Ze zijn snel, altijd vriendelijk en het eten is zeer goed. De zaak oogt oud maar dat vind ik persoonlijk juist extra sfeer geven. Heerlijk eten!

Gewoon solid. Levert wat je van een Chin Ind restaurant mag verwachten, prijs/kwaliteit is prima. 3,5* maar ik rond hem af naar boven.

Ordered the 3 dish combo In a fit of laziness, hunger and nostalgia for the food of times we call ‘vroegah’. Rubbing our hands like a pair of greedy raccoons and salivating as such too, we waited for the delivery man to ring the bell and bring us the three unfungible classics that shine in every Chinese restaurant menu in the Netherlands: Babi pangang, saté, and Gado gado. But much like NFT’s, they were indeed fungible, and to an extent that left our taste buds sad, our souls crushed and our belief in humanity utterly devastated. Babi pangang: the kind that comes out of a deep frozen plastic box with a bag of sauce in it. Some pickled vegetables (atjar) unenthusiastically keeping it company. Best dish of the evening. Gado Gado: LOTS of bean sprouts. A FEW green beans. Egg: the kind that comes out of a box and gets mixed with water. VERY VERY soggy. The cook, somehow, still thought the best idea at this point was to absolutely DRENCH the lot in unnervingly bland peanut sauce. If I had to compare this dish to taking drugs I’d say it’s the equivalent of huffing hobo shoe. Saté: what can I say…. If the chicken on that skewer knew what it died for it would be turning in its’ rotisserie fast enough to generate power for all of the Netherlands and get those windmills out of business. Unfortunately no such wonder exists and we were left with the alarmingly (is this COVID or just a bad cook?!!) bland skewered chicken (?) pieces floating in a vast ocean of the afore mentioned peanut sauce. To avoid making this review too ambiguous I’d like to clarify the none of us had COVID and it was indeed the cook. White rice: it’s sad to have to crack down on the rice of a Chinese restaurant but here we go: This rice reminded me of a famous Dutch guy called Johan Dirksen. It wasn’t quite dirty or extremely offensive but it still managed to constantly rub me the wrong way. Also like Dirksen it looked funkier than it’s presumed age would allow, and mainly just didn’t act like it’s job description says it should. I’d give it zero stars but I like to bitch about bad food and boy, did this give me a reason!

Voor het eerst wezen eten. Het eten was goed en niets op aan te merken. De bediening liet veel te wensen over daar moet veel meer aandacht aan geschonken worden heel rommelig.

Prachtige locatie! Jammer van de kannen koffie en houten stoelen.

Geweldig lekker eten en gezellig. Heel vers en veel groenten. Tipan gerechten zijn een aanrader. Ook erg lief voor kinderen.

Vanavond heerlijk genoten van een super verzorgde indische rijst tafel. Had voor 8 personen besteld maar kregen zoveel , kunnen nog genieten op 3e kerstdag. Bistro lunetten , geweldig bedankt 🥰🥰

Hier besteld omdat ze maar liefst een 4.7 op Thuisbezorgd hadden. De krokante kip had meer de structuur van gekookte witvis, lekker weëig en zacht. Het eten was of smaakloos of veelste zout. Heb nog nooit zulk vies en onvers eten gekregen bij een chinees. Ergste we konden niet eens een review achterlaten via thuisbezorgs. Eén gerecht van de 8 van de rijsttafel was wél heel lekker!

Lekker gegeten bij de Chinese Bistro Lunetten met 3 personen. We kregen bij aankomst 2 soorten kroepoek in een mandje op tafel. Als voorgerechten: kippensoep en pangsit goreng. Als hoofgerechten hadden we Indische rijsttafel en Chinese rijsttafel voor 1 persoon en lamshaas met lichte knoflook- en oestersaus met mihoen. Als toetje dame blanche en koffie. Het eten was heerlijk en veel. We hebben zelfs mee naar huis kunnen nemen. Het personeel was ook vriendelijk. Hier komen we zeker terug.

Delicious food, fresh ingredients, spicy 🔥 food for the adventurous. Unique soup offers, humongous portions 😁. Dine-in, takeout, deliver, your choice. Cosy atmosphere inside of the restaurant, nicest staff we ever met. Food worth the money. Our choice at least twice a month (on lazy weekends, when no-one wants to grab pans and knives to cook) 11/10 recommend.

Mijn vriendin en ik hadden hier een maaltijd gewonnen in een prijsvraag. Erg lekker eten, en vriendelijk personeel. Zeker een aanrader, en we zullen hier sowieso nog vaker terug komen!

Altijd heerlijk eten en super service! Hier kan je een vegan rijsttafel bestellen compleet met soep en verschillende gerechten. Meestal halen we af, maar de keren dat we hier eten, is het ook altijd lekker en goed verzorgd. Een top Chinees 😄
