Chinees-Indisch Restaurant Jasmijn in Wijk 02 Bergen op Zoom-Oost

It was winter and cold. We mentioned this immediately upon entering, but there was no response. They didn't show us where to find the coat rack. My children put on their coats at some point, and I wrapped a wide scarf around them, ordered tea, and told the waitress we were cold. My children also ordered tea. There was no response, and the food didn't get any warmer. The food was lukewarm—not quite cold, but not exactly warm either. Chinese takeout from other Chinese restaurants in the area is warmer. Many of the sauces were the same, and the dishes lacked flavor. We were there on a weekday, but the building lacked atmosphere, and the cold made it worse. The waitress was curt and impatient. As a hostess, she paid absolutely no attention to her guests or their well-being in the restaurant. If we had been invited by family, I would have gotten up and left. All in all, I wouldn't recommend anyone to eat there. Order takeout and eat at home; it's much warmer and more atmospheric. Maybe put it in the microwave for a bit to really warm it up?

Disgraceful people We are a Spanish couple who tried to eat at this restaurant (if you can call it that) and were turned away by the manager because we are not Dutch. I find it outrageous that someone who isn't even from here is racist and won't let us eat at their restaurant. I bet you didn't get into the restaurant.

You should definitely go and eat there sometime.

Picked up the monthly menu for 2 people, it was delicious and we could eat from it for two days, there was so much.

Excellent food for a good price

The restaurant is not very cozy, but we usually take it away and we think it is very good👍🏻

We get quite a lot of food here, but this time it was not good. We had ordered 2 spring rolls, but 1 spring roll was not fully cooked at the bottom and the fat was running out. The chef must have seen this but still gave it to us and I think that is very bad.

Finally, after years of searching, found a top Chinese restaurant in Jasmijn, call and pick up, back in the Wouwse plantation within half an hour

It was a step back to the late 80's haha... but we had a great meal and a lot of laughs with the lady who served our food. Also received a table in a quiet location due to a person with hearing loss. Very thoughtful.

Everything okay, but it's impossible to park there. Everything is packed with cars, but there is no one inside. Of course, you are not allowed to park on the sidewalk. That is a disadvantage. Especially if you want to pick up quickly.

delicious food here... we always went to another Chinese restaurant because it was closer... but we picked it up here for the first time. really very neat... if I have any criticism, it is the fact that we did pay for prawn crackers. but it wasn't there... otherwise a top restaurant

The food wasn’t bad it looked weird. The place looked very unhygienic : menu, table, floor was sticky. The lady was kinda rude she just threw cutlery on to the table…

I have lived in Bergen op Zoom for 6 years and have never picked up anything there. Now I had my cousin visiting and after sitting on the terrace on the Grote Markt all afternoon, he suggested we get Chinese... and we ended up at Jasmin's and ordered a July Monthly Menu B "Thai" for 2 people. for Euro 31.50 and a total of 2 pieces of Vietnamese spring rolls, Thai babi ketjap, Thai foe yong hai, Thai chicken fillet with curry, prawn crackers (1 piece), a bowl of Nasi and a bowl of Bami and the quantity was enough for even 3 people 😄 quality was also okay...so maybe worth repeating.

Got food for 100 euros tonight 7/6/24. duck with pineapple.tasted completely like the pineapple/metal can.cheesy, heavily topped with salty soy sauce. both tjaptjoy dishes tasted like soil = mold. kuluyuk fried in oil that is 2 weeks old. satay with. 2. pieces of meat ... prawn crackers 4.50 euros, cuckoo. would be a more appropriate name. what a mockery..I wasn't a fan of it already..now I know why. that people get their food here and a good restaurant like Tang Dynasty had to close... I can't wrap my head around it...

Spring roll was tasty, but the chicken flew through it, we say... It was mainly a lot of bean sprouts.. Chicken satay was tender and the sauce was excellent

We hebben heerlijk gegeten. Buffet.

Ik ga hier mijn eten halen dus over de sfeer en service kan ik niet veel zeggen. Het eten is lekker. Natuurlijk kan je ter plaatse bestellen maar beter nog bestel je telefonisch. Makkelijk en snel.

Goede sfeer ook en goede hulp enzo.

Heerlijk gegeten en vriendelijke service voor herhaling vatbaar

Heerlijk eten en je krijgt er ook echt veel voor een betaalbare prijs! Zowel tijdens de telefonische bestelling als tijdens het afhalen heel vriendelijk te woord gestaan. Zeker een aanrader!

Lekkere chinees afhaal echt een van de betere in bergen op zoom zeker een aanrader als je ene keertje in de buurt bent.

Sinds lange tijd iets gehaald bij dit restaurant. Was erg lekker

heerlijk gezellig genieten van een lekker hapje eten.... en drinken... parkeerplaats zat...

Jarenlang naar de concurrent geweest een paar straten verderop maar omdat het daar gisteren toen ik er kwam zo druk was, weer eens naar Jasmijn gereden. Hier was het iets minder druk en ook goedkoper zag ik tot mijn verbazing, maar wat het belangrijkste was is dat dit Chinees-Indisch restaurant zeker net zulke lekkere 😋 gerechten heeft als de concurrent iets verderop!! Dus ik ga er vast nog een keer heen want het is prima bevallen. Personeel was vriendelijk en netjes alleen zou het er wel iets gezelliger uit mogen zien maar dat is ieder zijn persoonlijke smaak. Ga geregeld eten afhalen maar eigenlijk nooit een echt dineren bij een Chinees restaurant dus nam toen ik weer weg ging even een kijkje daar. Zag er prima en heel aantrekkelijk 😋 uit het buffet wat opgesteld stond alleen vond ik de inrichting niet zo van deze tijd. Ik zou het wat gezelliger maken. Ook waren de ramen helemaal beslagen zodat je niet naar buiten kan kijken. Maar ondanks dat ga ik het toch eens een keer doen want het lijkt me zalig om van alle lekkere gerechten van hrt buffet te proeven.

Een goed Chinees Indisch Restaurant.Heel lekker en niet prijzig.

Dit is nog een ouderwetse chinees zoals het hoort en niet de nouveaux keuken. Eten was goed en hygiënisch verzorgd en erg lekker. De porties waren meer dan genoeg. Bediening was vriendelijk en attent. Eigenaresse kwam een beetje nors over maar dat ligt volgens mij aan haar afkomst zoals bij vele Chinezen. Inrichting kan wel wat gezelliger.

Lekker op zijn tijd. Snel en makkelijk Een maand menu voor 2 personen is ruim voldoende ,zelfs voor 3 of 4 eters.

De tjap choy was heerlijk vers met veel verschillende groenten. Ossenhaas perfect.

Even een tegenvaller vanavond. Voor een groep loempia's willen halen waren ze uitverkocht!!! Dat is een café zonder bier.......

Prima eten. Wij hadden de babi pangang koe loe yuk sate nasi combi en kip met pikante saus. De laatste had pikanter gemogen maar alles was erg lekker. Voor herhaling vatbaar.

Wij vonden het eten een beetje flauw. Voor ons zeker niet voor herhaling vatbaar. Jammer.

Het beste chinees restaurant ooit bezocht, zeer zeker voor herhaling vatbaar ook al is het best ver rijden, komen zeker terug
