Chinees Restaurant Diamant in Udenhout

This was our first time getting takeout after the takeover. We had a delicious meal and will definitely be back.

It's clear that someone with questionable nicknames is posting bad reviews over and over again. The (also questionable) language clearly shows that it's the same person over and over again. Poor thing... We've been enjoying our meals at Restaurant Diamant for years and always enjoy them!

Always delicious and almost always on time!

Best to order by phone, sometimes very busy. Food is very tasty.

Hey, listen up! So the other day I went to that corner store for a cup of pork chapchoi. I thought: yummy, man, just tuck in and enjoy it like my mother could never make. Well, not at all. I took a few bites, it tasted okay – a bit sour, but I thought: that's part of it, maybe it's authentic or something. But a few hours later? BOOM. My stomach started gurgling like a drum solo was being performed inside me. Sweating, shaking, and I ran to the bathroom like I was running an Olympic final. Yep, you guessed it: serious food poisoning from that pork chapchoi. Sjaak Schimmelbal has been lying there for two days, with a toilet paper roll as his best friend. Let this be a warning: if the food smells funny… just leave it. Amen.

Today, for the second time at my local AZC store, the food was unchewable. When I ordered, a woman was breastfeeding her baby and I was standing there, but that didn't matter. The food tasted like bleach. I know what that tastes like, it's possible to make it at AZC. Our food contains lead, so I'm not complaining. The service was efficient, and now I use the containers at home to grow plants. Overall, it's rubbish...

Excellent Chinese, not worldly but certainly not dirty as some here claim.

Got a meal this week. To be honest, nothing to get excited about. Next time I'd rather drive to Oisterwijk or Tilburg. Can't say what it is, but it just wasn't tasty. The wait there was quite long. You look around and in terms of the interior, time has really stood still, oh my goodness... Well, if you don't try it you won't know...

We are very satisfied! Recently moved from Udenhout to Waalwijk but have not yet come across a better Chinese restaurant. So we also drive from Waalwijk to Udenhout, especially for the delicious food. Also friendly staff, nice interaction with our 3-year-old daughter. Recommended!

The signature chicken in the set meal is delicious, I am very happy to order here!

They recently moved to the village and had not had Chinese for a long time. After some googling we came across diamonds. Monthly menu for 3 people. Ordered over the phone and they indicated that the waiting time would be a little longer, about 20 minutes. Well we arrived there and half of Udenhout was waiting for their food. We waited a little over an hour and at some point I wasn't hungry anymore. The lady owner did her best, but the kitchen couldn't handle it. This sometimes happens in the catering industry and is a learning experience. But waiting an hour for a menu is extreme, although I felt sorry for the owner and all the eyes on her. We'll give it one more chance

Went to Diamond Resraurant Chinese Restaurant on Saturday and ordered some food. There were a lot of people, the food was super fresh and the portions were huge! The service was very attentive and they even gave me sweets for my child!

I have been living in Udenhout for 20 years. I was hungry and in the mood for Chinese, normally I always get it from my regular Chinese in Tilburg, but I thought let's try the Chinese one around the corner. I enter the store and start with my order, but after 2 seconds I was immediately told off by a small employee named Kai Lemans. I placed my order (rice table for 4 people and chap choi with pork). After waiting for a long time I finally got my bag of food. The food was already cold and the taste was even more stale than me. Grandma's toes. Never encountered such a bad thing and it should be banned from Udenhout. Never again!!

I had the chapchoi with pork yesterday and have been shitting in the toilet every hour since then and am now in bed with severe food poisoning. That diamond is highly recommended. (It didn't really help that I was scolded by a little boy named kai) never again🤮

A good Chinese. With all the classics

This is only a takeaway restaurant. Ordered a monthly menu via the website. Upon arrival it turned out to be a different monthly menu. Asked if I could have the monthly menu from the website. She said the menu changes every month. But they forgot to change this on the website. She understood my argument and it was adjusted on the spot. Hence 4 stars for the Service.

Very tasty chicken with vegetables. Portions are large and nicely packaged for takeaway. Very nice lady from the staff. I encourage you to try the dishes from this place.

Last night we came in around 7:30 PM to order something and pick it up. We chose the Tau sie yuk and the kon po kai. Very friendly woman behind the counter. She has only lived in the Netherlands for a year, she told us nicely about it, and she speaks English very well and also some Dutch. The food was ready within 10 minutes. At home I was surprised about the tau sie yuk. I always order this dish at the Chinese (various throughout the Netherlands) but this is one of the tastiest tau sie yuk I have ever eaten. The kon po kai was also good! Generous portions. We were also able to have lunch this afternoon (2 people). When we are in Udenhout again, we will definitely come back.

Called at half past six on Sunday. I was able to pick up the order at ten past six, but I didn't receive it until half past seven. The place was full of people waiting. Everyone had to wait longer than said. That was not the case with the previous owner! The food was very bland in taste. The ketjap flavor was hard to find in the chicken ketjap and the meat of the babi pangang was much fattier than the previous owner's. Many complaints among themselves, mainly due to the long wait. Unfortunately no longer an option for us!

Both my husband and I suffered severe food poisoning after eating the monthly menu. I've been in bed sick for two days.

The new owner has a problem with logistics. The food is delicious, nothing but praise for that. But four times since the takeover I have ordered food and it was not ready at the time specified by them. Today again 50 minutes later than planned. People complained bitterly. And I don't think it's nice that the owner only speaks English to her customers.

A huge difference from the old owner. Food is fresh and tasty. Vegetables crispy, meat tender, fried banana no porridge in a half-cooked, weak, greasy dough..... Hopefully they continue to maintain this level. We will be back!

Ordered 3 weeks ago, the entire order was wrong, the lady on the phone had repeated the order 3 times. Ordered spring roll / nasi without meat.. it contained meat Chicken curry without vegetables, it contained more vegetables than chicken. After contact by telephone we would get a discount next time I didn't get much of a discount, I was able to throw away a lot of the order. Anyway today I wanted to order again, the lady didn't understand me, she speaks a little Dutch but I can't understand it. Then don't get any more Chinese there

Since I had to wait more than an hour last time, I thought I was being smart by calling. My order finally arrived 50 minutes later than the agreed time. The menu was supposed to include fried banana, but this was not included. The portion I ordered extra was inedible. A thick crust that you couldn't get through. These were probably already ready when I arrived. Unfortunately, they won't see me again.

Prima afhaal chinees voor een redelijke prijs kwaliteit verhouding!

Wij hebben gisteravond heerlijk gegeten het was ruim voldoende en goed op smaak vanmiddag nog een portie gegeten. Daar het op dat tijdstip niet druk was gezellig over koetjes en kalfjes gepraat. Je wordt er altijd vriendelijk geholpen.

Helaas was Kota Radja in Oisterwijk gesloten, daar kan niemand in de regio aan tippen. Maar het eten van Diamant was redelijk!

Menu A afgehaald: Garnalen, Babi bangang en Koe loe yuk waren smakelijk. Nasi was droog en brokkelig. Foe yong hai had weinig smaak. De Tjaptjoi ronduit schandalig, letterlijk een halve bak taugé met wat kleine stukjes groenten en kip. Niet voor herhaling vatbaar

Eten is prima Maar vandaag ,Moederdag in de Corona tijd eten telefonisch besteld om half4om op te halen voor half 6 Was prima zeiden ze Kom ik daar om half 6 staan er zeker 15 mensen buiten in de rij die allemaal om die tijd het op konden halen, en de rij mensen groeiden maar... Er werden mensen ongeduldig en gingen na binnen😡 Nee dit was eenmaal, kom niet meer of ze moeten het beter gaan organiseren Dit was gewoon zoveel mogelijk verkopen en de regels ho maar.....

Heerlijk gegeten zeer de moeite waard om het nog een keer over te doen. BEDANKT

Kwaliteit van de gerechten zijn gewoon goed, maand menu is een aanrader

Primair gericht op afhalen. Prima prijs kwaliteit verhouding. Je kunt overigens ook van het restaurant gebruik maken.

Eten was koud en niet te vreten ik kom zeker niet nog een keer ik houw ook niet van Chinees daar kan het ook aan liggen 😡💧.

Voor het chinees afhaalmenu zeker voldoende. Leuke, aardige bediening, volop keuze, genoeg eten voor een mooie prijs.

Super vriendelijk personeel en heerlijke gerechten zeker de moeite waard voor iedereen.

Vooral om af te halen een populair en goed restaurant met een ruime menukaart. De loempias zijn echt lekker en kunnen als een complete maaltijd dienen.

Twee keer geweest. Eerst maand menu waar de babi pangang een beetje verbrand smaakte, wel goede prijs. Daarna cha sui met mihoen en gado gado...dat laatste bleek een bak taugé met pindasaus, mihoen ook erg veel taugé. Dat was echt heel matig...ik ga niet nogmaals

Vandaag afgehaald. Verse lekkere loempia. Heerlijke Fou Yong Haï met garnalen. En knapperige Tjap Tjoi met kip. Alles bijzonder vers. Kom zeker terug.

Ben benieuwd hoe het zal smaken...
