A really good restaurant, for years.

Went out for dinner spontaneously tonight. We made a reservation on the way from Emmen. We've known this restaurant since we lived in Amersfoort. We chose the monthly menu: Beef tenderloin in orange sauce. Delicious food and great service.

The food was decent, but certainly not exceptional. I found the nasi goreng especially bland, but that could just be my personal taste. Paying around €40 for a combination dish, dessert, and sparkling water was definitely not worth it.

I got some really delicious takeout food. I'll definitely be back.

Ordered two different Tipan tenderloin dishes: what a disappointment! We're not used to this at Happy Garden... And being out again within an hour, a hundred euros lighter, doesn't feel right!

Very good quality! We ate for three people for €40, and there was still some left over. We opted for takeout. The restaurant is beautiful and clean, and the aquarium alone is worth a visit.

Last time I got the Chinese Rijsttafel. The taste was very average, but still good. Now I got the Indonesian Rijsttafel. It's not really good. The rendang is mediocre and the stew is poor quality. And the rissoles were clearly deep-fried. Really not good. Gado gado without beans, cucumber, and egg.

I had Chinese bami that was dry and tasteless, my tjaptjoi had no crack or taste and there was no sauce/moisture with the vegetables, it was downright bad, the food was great, something is going wrong somewhere.

Very good Chinese restaurant with many dishes such as Cantonese, tipan chicken as in the photo is delicious, but also dry-fried tenderloin or chicken with pepper and herbs are recommended. Everything with lots of vegetables and meat. But the vegetarian dishes are also very good. Friendly welcome and nothing is too much. Top!!

The only thing I pick up here is a special spring roll. This is very tasty in itself, but the meat in it is bad. There are many pieces of cartilage/fat (I don't know the correct name) in it. Tried several times now, but I think I'll leave it at that for now.

We usually come there for takeaway and occasionally we also eat there. It is a very popular "Chinese" and with good reason: the quality of the dishes is simply very good. For years. People can find the restaurant from the wider area of ​​Hoogland/Amersfoort. Very occasionally something goes wrong with a telephone order or a specific takeaway dish. For example, pork satay, instead of chicken satay, use a little too much or too little spice, or a little less vegetables than usual. No shocking things as far as we are concerned. The welcome and service in the restaurant is very friendly and attentive. The dishes are beautifully presented and, without exception, very tasty. In short: highly recommended!

For the umpteenth time, the order is not complete when we get home. Whether it is a large or small order. Today they forgot to put the spring roll in the bag. When we got home (they had also forgotten us when we were waiting there - waited 45 minutes -) we called: they did not even apologize and immediately said that we can settle this for the next order (which next order, we will get there from now on). so not anymore). I answer on the phone that I have no food then. Answer: yes, it can no longer be made, we will settle it next time. Finally I managed to realize that I really want my order. Had a delicious old-fashioned tipan with fish. Friendly and smooth service.

Ordered by telephone. A time was agreed in consultation with staff (approx. 1 hour later than a telephone conversation). It was not extremely busy when it came to pick up, but there were 2 people complaining that they had to wait more than half an hour for their telephone order. When 20 minutes later than agreed time they said there was a slight delay. I finally received my order 50 minutes after the agreed time!! At home, the fu yung hai turned out to be almost cold with the sauce in a container next to it, there was only a mini container of sauce with the Beijing chicken and the spicy tenderloin was barely seasoned. This was the first experience at this restaurant and the last.

Super lieve mensen en heerlijk vers eten.

Eten is altijd goed en heerlijk. Je wordt daar altijd gastvrij ontvangen en erg vriendelijk geholpen. Echt een aanrader.

Alles top zowel het eten als de service en de sfeer. Mijn favoriete restaurant.

Goed eten en heel vriendelijk personeel. Lekker knapperige babi pangang.

Echt een leuke dorps-chinees. Zit er al vele jaren een still going strong. Vooral het gegrilde varkensvlees vind ik daar helemaal top

Naar mijn bescheiden mening een zeer goede specialiteiten restaurant. De service was goed. De bediening vriendelijk, gastvrij en bovenal niet gehaast. Wc schoon en fris. Ook het restaurant zelf zag er schoon uit. Gezellige sfeer. Eten was smaakvol, kleurig en geurig. Aanrader!

Super lekker eten bij gezellige mensen

Eigenlijk kan je niet verkeerd kiezen, nog nooit teleurgesteld, altijd heerlijk en absoluut een aanrader! Een dikke 5 sterren!

Het eten wat heel erg lekker, maar de bediening liet te wensen over. Het restaurant zat absoluut niet vol en toch moesten we heel erg lang op ons eten wachten. Om de "pijn" te verzachten, kregen we 1x portie kroepoek van het huis en een gratis rondje drinken. Dat was dus wel netjes opgelost.

Voor het eerst hier afgehaald. Eten prima op smaak, thuis toch even in de magnetron omdat het niet erg warm was. Ook hier krimpflatie, iets hogere prijzen en gezien de kleinere bakjes ook minder dan je vroeger bij de Chinees kreeg.

Viel tegen. De nasi en bami bevatten tegenwoordig nauwelijks groente e.d. De tjap tjoy bestond voornamelijk uit taugé en had weinig smaak. De eieren in de foe Yong hai hadden een raar vies smaakje. De babi pangang en satésaus waren wel goed.

Sfeervol ruime plaatsen en belangrijkste zeer goed eten..

Heel leuk restaurant, was erg gezellig en leuk personeel. Eten was heerlijk. Beste Chinees die ik tot nu toe ben tegengekomen. Zeker een aanrader.

Prima eten hier erg lekker. Wel jammer dat je voor de extra rijst moet betalen maak het dan iets duurder.

Mooie zaak en heerlijk eten. Eindelijk weer een Chinees gevonden waar je lekker 'uit eten' kunt. Tip top interieur en goede bediening. Hier komen wij zeker terug!

Al 25 jaar (voor ons) het beste Chinees-Aziatisch restaurant in Amersfoort en omstreken. Waar de bediening en eigenaren hun (vaste) gasten nog (bij naam) kennen. Authentieke Chinese sfeer in een modern jasje. Menukaart variërend van echte Chinese gerechten tot de meer klassiek 'Nederlands-Chinese' gerechten. Aan kinderen is ook gedacht en voor hen blijft het aquarium leuk. De recente toevoeging van de lift naar het restaurant aan de achterzijde is echt een meerwaarde.

Vriendelijke personeel. Kwaliteit eten is zeer goed!

Heerlijk gegeten met zijn alle. Goede service en het 4 gangen menu A en B zijn zeker een aanrader. Wij komen vaker terug!

Ik was hier lang niet geweest. Maar het is een aanrader. Heerlijk gegeten. Service is uitstekend, netjes, snel, beleefd. Lekker warm handdoekje na het eten. Top. Het was er helaas een beetje fris binnen, op het laatst had ik gewoon koude voeten, dat is niet fijn!

Heerlijk eten, zeer vriendelijk personeel

Vriendelijke bediening en heel correct en t eten was top een 10 waard.

Ik had voor 14 personen besteld en moest €118,- betalen maar er was niet eens genoeg voor 12 man en sommige gerechten waren zelfs al koud. Ik had speciaal een visgerecht besteld en dat was echt niet lekker. Ik ga hier niets meer bestellen!

De nasi goreng malay is mijn favoriet !

Gisteren voor het eerst eten besteld bij Happy Garden, we zijn zeer aangenaam verrast, we hadden Choi Sam, Bami Malay, Saté, mini loempia's, Ajam Pangang en Nasi. Alles was héérlijk, we hebben (gelukkig) niets gekregen wat niet lekker was, ook de medewerkers zijn heel vriendelijk. Wij gaan hier voortaan zéker heen, was in één woord TOP!!!
