Great fries and fast service! Every time I'm in Amsterdam, I just have to stop by Chipsy King. The fries are always super crispy and tasty - just the way they should be. You can choose from many sauces, but the samurai sauce remains my favorite. Also nice that you get served quickly, even when it's busy. Perfect for a quick snack while shopping or after a night out. Recommended if you like real fries!

Amazing fries, burgers and bitterballen for good price, the fries were delicious and the burger tastes like how the real burger should be fresh and tasty. Unlike the other TikTok famous shops where you need to wait a lot in a line to get some food this place focuses on quality and good customer service. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to taste the real fries and dutch snacks in Amsterdam without wasting their time. I would definitely come back again for more.

Giving this place 5 stars for service simply for the fact they were open after midnight New Year's (arrived around 12:15am) and hustling to serve a huge line of drunk people. The food was fine, as expected for a fried food place. The bitterballen were fried to order and ample sauces added to chips (just sad they were out of sweet 'taters). There is a little seating outside but the food is packaged well for walking.

We enjoyed the chips while walking around. The chips were really good.

DANGER! As some reviews here have previously reported, the owner/chef likes to yell at women in front of all other guests for alleged misbehavior! Misbehavior: take an extra dollop of sauce. Since it seems to happen all the time to women, I'm guessing mysogyny. Once and never again. The dishes ordered are 0815. Tourist trap with woman-hating owner.

Horrible experience. Ordered take out as we intend to munch on some of our food/ fries while touring around the city. Got yelled at the moment we sat down to eat the "messier" foods first. The staff claimed we should have just ordered eat-in as it takes them "a long time" to prepare take outs... Yelled at us in front of other customers for a stupid reason. Ridículous and rude. Never ever left a bad review on Google but this shall be the first one!

Some of the best fries/chips I've ever had! I had the curry fries and my husband had the mayo fries, apparently, the mayo fries are their most popular; I wasn't crazy about the mayo sauce. The curry fries on the other hand were delicious! The curry was creamy and perfectly spiced with a rich curry kick, phenomenal!! The main show, their fries, were super crispy on the outside, super fluffy on the inside and super hot and delicious! I'd come back here for sure!

We found this place while walking around Amsterdam. We were looking for a place with gluten free food but were having trouble, so this place was a bit of a lifesaver. I noticed that they sell more than just french fries so I thought that probably it was not a safe place to eat but we decided to pop in and ask. They told us that the french fries are gluten free because they only fry potatoes there and we were told which sauces were gluten free as well. I did not have any stomach issues after eating it (I am intolerant to gluten, not celiac). The guy working was really nice, and the french fries were delish! Definitely recommend, whether you are looking for a gluten free snack or a regular one!

I think it is the best chips I have ever tried. Me and my bf came to eat here 4 times in 5 days. The cheese dip is amazing! I recommend to order the dip on the side, the photo might look less attractive but the meal would be more delicious.

A bit expensive but the burger is real meat and is tasty !
