Excellent coffee and friendly owner

This is my weekend biking coffee stop. They only sell coffee but then the coffee is probably the best I've had in the Netherlands.

Simply the best. Tiny, cosy, warm. THE place for specialty coffee lovers, its hand brew being the highlight. No food served.

The specialty coffee is great and the owner knows what he is doing to make it taste the best and he gives milk beverages a beautiful latte art

I love seeing really small spots like this and the coffee alone makes it worth visiting. Friendly barista who knows what he's doing. The place just gives off a bit of a hipster, but homely vibe. Top marks all around and I'd love to return next time I visit Scheveningen.

Small, cozy shop with a super friendly boss who really seems to love his job. In the store he also has a little animal support “Charly” 🐶🐾 You don't pay extra for decaf or vegan milk 🌱💚 The café is exceptionally delicious 👌🏼

My favourite coffee in Den Haag! Beans are roasted by the barista who is very friendly and really loves his craft. The music is usually Japanese. Chiva coffee’s mascot is Charlie who is a cute dog that knows its place :p. A very wholesome experience especially in a good beach day!

By far the best coffee in the entire area! I would have given 6 stars if I could. The best taste, perfectly roasted beans! Both regular coffee and decaf. Cozy tent, always possible to have a chat, but if you want some peace and quiet, that is also possible here. I am sold and I like to come often.

Best coffee and matcha in The Hague. The owner and his little dog Charlie are super friendly. Roasts the coffee beans himself, does Latte art, nice atmosphere to get in contact with other people, uses eco friendly packaging, sells his beans also grounded. My go-to place.

A small café that has very good coffee. The owner really knows his stuff, roasts his own beans, and chooses some really great beans. Beans seem to change every seven to ten-days, and i am yet to be disappointed, from geisha's on pourover to funky passion fruit flavours. The owner is also a font of knowledge.

Chiva Coffee is a truly amazing spot in Scheveningen. The coffee was magic. Every variant we tried blew us away. Even the decaf with oatmilk tastes likes ambrosia. Five stars and will soon be back

Het is een kleine zaak maar met veel passie voor koffie en geschiedenis, een plek waar je kunt genieten van het rijke aroma van goede koffie gemaakt met liefde en goede smaak.

There's no plant tax hooray!!!!!!! (This means that plant-based/vegan milk options don't cost more) Such a lovely place! Make sure to try the scones/sconies. They're like fluffy delicious oatmeal cookies! The store has great atmosphere. Make sure to look around you when you're inside! There's often local art (from his wife?) on display which you can buy as well. Of course the coffee is great too. Many of the beans are from his family (in Colombia). He'll be able to tell you very much information about the beans, even if they're from somewhere else. The store is small so for (electric) wheelchair users it might be hard to get inside, but the counter is very close to the door so the owner will definitely help you get a great cup of coffee :) I love this place, I wish the owner well and I'm very happy he's in the keizerstraat!

Very lovely place. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Their dog is very cute and friendly too. The coffee tasted amazing and it’s definitely worth a visit when you’re in town.

The coffee here is my favorite in The Hague so far. It’s a cozy place and you can tell the owner is very passionate about coffee. I’ve even had a few conversations with friendly locals that hang out there from time to time.
