Within 3 minutes, pssst, boom. The croquette is leaky. Cold inside. The frying fat has ruined it. In short, the breading is too thin.

Where all kinds of craft shops are disappearing everywhere, Holtkamp is courageously standing firm. A real baker in a shop that has hardly changed in the last 50 years. All products are of high quality, but famous in Holtkamp Maassluis especially for the Holtkamp tompouce. You won't get a Holtkamp tompouce at Holtkamp anywhere else. It is still prepared with the original yellow cream based on whole milk. No sticky sweet fake pudding that sits like cement between the puff pastry (as is often the case elsewhere) but real yellow cream. The price is high and the Holtkamp tompouce also experiences shrinkage because they have become somewhat smaller over the years. But every now and then a tompouce from Holtkamp is always a treat for me. By the way, the bread is also excellent, but the tompouces make it special.

Ik had suikerbeestjes mee laten nemen en een maassluise slof en croissants maar alle niet echt te eten!!!! Suikerbeestjes hadden niet meer zelfde smaak echt smaakloos en niet de vorm van de oude hr holtkamp maassluise slof was heerlijk nu ook gewoon goor en volgens mij gewoon bruin en croissants ook kwa smaak anders ga lekker door zo zijn jullie straks klanten kwijt!!!

Die zijn bereid met boerenmelk en waren inderdaad heerlijk. Ook proefden we de huisgemaakte advocaat, die verrukkelijk was. Ik heb begrepen dat deze zaak van de broer van de bekende banketbakker Holtkamp in Amsterdam is. Aanrader.
