First of all, the waitress was unfriendly, she refused to read the menu, and the food was also delivered incorrectly. A positive aspect is the atmosphere, nice Dordrecht vibe, this place is NOT recommended!!!

Had lunch this afternoon with my daughter and friend. It was really nice. It's a nice place, but the service is really poor. Understaffed, too. I had a small dish. Well, it was really small, and there was no bread or anything with it. Oh yeah, German tartare. It was tasty, but feel free to order fries with it. I skipped the coffee. There was no service.

Yesterday, we had a delicious meal with our DrechtStadLoop team. A 9-course meal with delicious small dishes. It was great to try so many different things. The chef was very accommodating to my allergies, which I had previously disclosed. Friendly service.

We just had a drink here and went to the movies. Nice location, too bad the ladies' restroom is on the second floor...

Tonight we had a lovely and delicious evening with our family. We received a friendly welcome and the service was excellent. The food was good; the children received a generous plate of tasty chicken pieces and fries. It was great that there were some fun games for the kids to play. Definitely recommended. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't great where we were, otherwise you could definitely sit outside.

We didn’t eat there. Just went to the cinema. Ticket people were nice. There was only one more couple in the cinema and we were grateful it was running!

Super friendly staff, great help, very nice to get there

Today nice on the terrace 2 x veal ribeye Ordered, and a few drinks, drinks were fine, fries too but the veal ribeye was not to get through, so stopped after 2 bites. Complaint would be passed on to the kitchen and then it stops no further response at all. Paid 68 euros for some drinks and a very small box of fries. Bad business.

A hand-picked film program outside the mainstream, preceded or followed by a meal from the equally excellent kitchen, with dishes that are both a feast for the eyes and the palate. A spacious retreat, even under the trees in the garden in good weather, right in the heart of Dordrecht.

Well done in terms of relaxation, good food and friendliness

We arrived well before the film for a main course and dessert. After our first drink and bread beforehand, we waited a long time. The staff did not make eye contact, they mainly stood behind the bar and hardly walked around. Finally managed to catch the eye of an employee who was sitting at the bar talking to the employee behind the bar. After taking the main course, we waited a long time for the food, then started contacting the service again. The annoyance grew... not being able to order a drink, let alone dessert. Finally we got up to ask for the bill at the bar. We had barely an hour and a half before dinner. The result: A little bread, a main course, NO dessert, NO coffee. One drink. I communicated this in a friendly manner to the waitress at checkout. It couldn't have been busy. The place was not even half full. This makes it absolutely impossible for us to repeat this. Although we regularly visit De Witt for a movie!

The fried prawns were well done. The metze with salmon was tasteless. Floated in a watery substance with lots of mayo. With the salad, the olive oil sloshed through the bowl, so everything had one taste. The bread was rock hard and the accompanying spreads seemed to come straight from a jar. I have the impression that the chef has never tasted it himself and puts everything together from a piece of paper, maybe I should take a cooking lesson again. It's a shame, because the location and the cinema are really nice.

I love this cinema, the retro style, the calm and relaxing atmosphere. We usually go there on Thursday afternoon/evening, we always buy tickets including a drink; the last time before the performance we also ordered some food, which was very tasty. If you like an old-fashioned cinema, where you can relax, have a drink and a good meal before or after the show, then we definitely recommend this cinema.

Restaurant and cinema in an attractive environment. Had a great evening. First delicious meal, with excellent wine. Then we watched a movie in the Cinema Lounge, a homely atmosphere with a large screen and lovely sofas. Had a great evening.

Had to wait half an hour, on the terrace, still nothing on the coffee order. When I asked I got the response that something had gone wrong... further no understanding or apology. Very unfortunate that there is little attention for the customer.

Beautiful location, attractive terrace, friendly atmosphere (Ellie), a little more attention and creativity for the food would complete it, nice place in Dordecht, quickly try it out in the sun.

De Witt is a wonderful place for young and old. Mighty beautiful old-fashioned movie house in the center of a wonderful city, run with a modern flair of professionalism. My entourage and I really enjoy coming there!

Friendly restaurant settled in a centuries-old building that was successfully retrofitted to reflect art-deco style. The building also houses a small cinema and the restaurant can cater to your movie’s starting time. The menu is compact, but worthwhile. Service with a smile and proper attention.

The brunch consists of a glass of orange juice, soup (was cold), bread, salmon, cheese, jam and an egg. Costs 19.50. If you eat gluten-free (call in advance) and vegetarian or vegan, then it is sandwiches (baked in the same oven as other bread) and only jam, because that is brunch. Soup was not sure if gluten free. And it is not possible to deviate from that menu. It was compensated with a bottle of wine, but I would have preferred to just have a nice brunch for 19.50. Shame.

Delicious food, called in advance and indicated a gluten allergy. Skillfully received and explained what is and is not possible, also with regard to things from the chip shop. Tables are very close together and it was busy so we had to wait a while for the bill. That was a bit inconvenient because we also had to go to the movie, but we just walked to the bar and then it was sorted in no time

Fantastic place to go to the movies! Still that nostalgic, cozy movie house feeling and not so massive. Sweet n salty popcorn was also very tasty :)

Unfortunately, we have had a very negative experience here with dealing with allergens. The allergen menu is inadequate: fries from a non-gluten-free chip shop, for example, are listed as gluten-free and are simply served with a gluten-free meal. It can happen that something goes wrong. But we found the way this was handled very annoying and also very surprising. Unfortunately, no response was received to an email I sent about this. We won't come here again, even though I think it's a super nice place. In my opinion, this restaurant is not suitable for people with food allergies.

I went to the movies here. The cash register is very inconvenient when it's busy, because the queue is already outside with 8 people waiting in front of you. I was in room 1, great room. Toilets neat and clean.

The atmosphere here is great, but the service is poor. Tried to eat here today, but the service didn't come, asked for service several times, with the answer "I'll be right there"; not so. Waited an hour and couldn't even order a drink.

It has become really beautiful since the renovation. I haven't eaten here yet, so I'll try that next time. Menu card looks good. The only downside is the mixed toilet. I don't need to see a dick with all those urinals.

Went to the De Witt film theater yesterday. It was a while ago for me, but now I understand why I like it so much. Saw a wonderful film, had a delicious cappuccino beforehand, which you can simply take into the hall. The chairs are comfortable, and the sound is not loud ~ in short, an ideal opportunity for an afternoon of me-time

Had a wonderful evening. Very nice terrace under the trees, tasty dishes and good friendly service. Only downside: a sticky table and chair. But that did not detract from the pleasant atmosphere.

Staff friendly, food good and more than enough. Just don't take a cinema and dinner package for €30! Many dishes are priced below €20, which means you would pay too much for a package deal. We pointed this out to the staff and, exceptionally, received a free drink. Of course, the staff must keep an eye on this themselves and, as a courtesy, top up the amount spent with a drink or refund the amount! Also plan your reserved time carefully, otherwise you will miss dessert when the film starts. The food is very good but the time between ordering and serving is too long.

I decided to go here for my birthday, because the map was nice and I think the surroundings turned out beautiful. The service was very good; attentive, smooth and friendly. And that is so important, because that also makes you want to come back. We had both mezzes and 'real' starters, everything was equally delicious! Nice tableware too. All main courses were delicious, corvina delicious! The specials are also great. The burger eaters were also extremely satisfied, at most their small plate made it a bit challenging not to lose anything along the way. Desserts were no longer possible, too saturated, that will come another time. The De Witt beer on tap, super tasty. Crémant, it was my birthday after all, also wonderful. In short, the drinks menu is also excellent. Go enjoy it!

What a nice atmosphere here, terrace in a beautiful garden. Beautiful surroundings. Surprisingly nice choice for lunch. Sympathetic service. All credit for this because they took back my table companion's lunch because she was very disappointed. Recommended if you don't know where to have lunch on the way to the Dordts museum.

Very nice. We came for the cinema part. It was nice and small. Excellent for a romantic date. And you can also do all kinds of other things there, for example eat or just have a drink.

Beautiful view of the Kunstkerk. Very nice part of Dordrecht here. I will definitely come here again for something to eat or drink.

It was a bit disappointing. The cappuccino was not hot enough, and one cup had a foot soak. The restaurant is conveniently located opposite a theater.

De Witt in Dordrecht is located in the heart of the pleasant city and has a cozy cafe and beautiful cinema rooms. The staff is very friendly. Here you can relax.

Visited the cinema and drank hot chocolate with delicious nut cake beforehand! That was enjoyable. Good experience with the film. Sound good, seats good and luckily without interruption for a break! Great experience (it wasn't the first)

Bought tickets on Wednesday, December 13 for a movie on Sunday, December 17. Upon arrival on Sunday it turned out that the film was not showing. Very unfortunate, gone evening out. Money would be refunded. After this promise, 3 emails and a phone call, still no money back. As a frequent visitor to cinemas, I have never experienced anything like this. End of De Witt for me... Finally got my money back after attempt 6 and another month.

Just a tip... the menus can easily catch fire because of the tea lights on the table...
