Coffeelicious in Wijk 01 Binnenstad

I wouldn’t recommend this place. The staff simply don’t seem to notice you. Nobody greets you when you walk in, and they only acknowledge you when you’re standing right in front of them. The same thing happened when I left, nobody said goodbye in response. But the main issue was the coffee. The coffee took an incredibly long time to arrive, around 20 minutes. I was already about to go over and ask whether they had forgotten my order. I have never been served an Americano like this before. It was very weak and pale, with some strange flakes floating on the surface. Had the coffee been sitting there for too long? Is the coffee machine not being properly maintained? Why wasn’t the Americano freshly made? And what kind of ingredients are they using? No reputable establishment would serve something like this. They considered it acceptable to sell this. That tells you a lot about how little they care about their customers. As for the dessert served on a separate plate, it was so hard that I could only break it apart with a fork. It was more like a rusk than a dessert.

Five stars for the pastries! I couldn't truly give five whole stars in this review because the savory menu options are not very good and I would also not recommend any drinks from the baristas, but every place has their specialty and the pastries are really where Coffeelicious shines! I'm so addicted to the pink sugar cookie.

Tasty cookies; you can sit there comfortably and enjoy a drink of your choice and a cookie. Everything there is made without added E numbers and the like... I don't know about gluten-free, you could ask.

Well. We've got absolutely nothing to complain. We arrive at 9 ish, we've warmly welcomed and served. The Cake, Cookie and Breakfast panini were wonderful! And the atmosphere is so calm, everything we needed for a slow morning type of breakfast.

Last week, I went to get an iced latte special with my Dordtpas. I walked in and asked for this coffee. "They couldn't scan the card," the gentleman said. I asked: "What now?" "Well, nothing. Too bad, unfortunately we have this problem with customers quite often." I made it clear to him that I couldn't help it that the card wasn't working for him, but that I had come here specifically for this promotion. Initially, he didn't want to do anything with it, but eventually, he was willing to give it to me. I understand that the Dordtpas is handled elsewhere, but when you enter into a partnership, you should also ensure that such a thing runs smoothly. Especially when it is indicated that more customers are experiencing this issue, it seems to me that you should contact the organization. We had a cookie with it as well, 5 euros!! Absurdly expensive! The iced latte special was, I think, so special that there was a huge block of ice in the middle of the plastic cup, meaning there was barely any room left for latte. Of course there is ice in it, but this was one big lump of ice. We shared the drink, but there was hardly anything left to share; after 4 sips through the straw, it was gone. Normally you pay 6.50 euros or 7.50 euros for this. I didn't go to report this because we had already walked on and didn't want to go back for it. With the Dordtpas it was free, but surely the drink should be good then? This was truly worthless! The Dordtpas itself is not free, by the way.

Coffeelicious is truly one of those places where everything is delicious! The service is super friendly and the pancakes are wonderful. And on top of that, they have such tasty cakes and cookies; it’s actually hard to choose. Definitely recommended if you love good coffee and tasty sweets!

Unfortunately, we were disappointed. The homemade lemonade was far too sour, and the fresh mint tea was actually just water with three mint leaves, without any mint flavor. We thought €4.25 was really much too expensive for what you get. It's a shame, because we had expected more.

I had ordered four types of cake and was really looking forward to it, but the result was disappointing. Although the cakes look luxurious, the taste falls far short: the toppings are excessively sweet and the cake is dry and bland. The red velvet and the carrot cake, in particular, were very disappointing. Considering the quality, I find the price of €5.50 per slice really far too high.

Nice and cozy spot for a cup of coffee with a treat. The service is also good and friendly. Small tip: a sugar-free treat to go with the coffee would be a nice addition.

Long waiting times for food and drinks, and unattentive staff.

Ordered apple pie - apparently I needed to state that i wanted heated + with dlagroom. It was kind of soft on the outside. Tastes good, but definitely not impressed as some of the above reviews. The waitress are very nice & kind.

The food is very stripped down. We ate bread with avocado and goat cheese or mango or egg, but the toppings were really minimal and the bread was quite dry. You do get exactly what is on the menu, but in terms of taste, it really isn't worth the money. I have had a small cake there before, though, and that was very tasty. My opinion: Coffeelicious is good at pastries, but that's about it.

A panini—pay attention to the fine print here—is simply a brie toastie with two pieces of watermelon on the side for 13.95. If you want to leave a tip yourself, you are forced to select on the card reader! Bad development. I had to wait a very long time for this toastie/panini (and it was veeery quiet!) and got into a conversation with the owner about the unsympathetic forced tipping machine and the fact that I had also had to wait a very long time (not even mentioning the toastie listed as a panini on the menu for 14 euros, but anyway). She defended herself by saying that they also serve ferries and that it is quite normal for customers to have to wait a long time and that this makes you a relaxed customer (she clearly didn't think I was). I feel that with this understaffing, the customer is not really being served well. And so pay attention: at the bottom, you can really choose 'no' for the tip! In protest against these kinds of American conditions, I suggest we just do that until it is our turn again to say: just make it... !

Delicious! I made a number of recipes from the cookbook and they taste exactly like in the shop; the instructions are very easy to follow! You can also stop by for coffee and cake. And new: dotcakes, tasty cakes with flavored fillings and an elegant topping. Friendly staff and seating both inside and outside.

The number of stars really says it all. From a coffee to go, a Good To Go, or a tasty lunch, it is all equally delicious and the staff is always super friendly.

New favourite spot! The original cookie (I tried the chocolate chip walnut) is incredibly delicious. Maybe I was tired and hungry, but it tasted like heaven. The cookie is soft, but not super gooey in the centre. The homemade marshmallow (lavender in my case) had a texture like none other. I thought it would be stiff, but it turned out to be incredibly soft, almost jelly-like. The lavender flavor is soft, but present, with a not too intense sweetness. Had to order more! The flat white was perfect with no bitter aftertaste and came with a complementary cookie slice! The service is great. The staff are friendly and switch to english easily. Aniek and Emily were my cashiers, both were incredibly friendly, helpful with choosing a treat, as well as knowledgeable about the product. Overall, amazing spot for tourists and locals alike, will visit again the next time I’m in Dordrecht! Great thanks to the staff!

What a wonderful afternoon I had here. The atmosphere in this place on Wijnstraat is incredibly pleasant and welcoming. I really enjoyed the extensive lunch. The grilled sandwiches with the accompanying popcorn were a unique and surprising combination that I haven't tasted anywhere else before. Everything looked so well presented on the beautiful pink plates. I will definitely come back here again to try the rest of the menu. Highly recommended in Dordrecht.

My husband and I enjoyed your matcha and Panini. We were actually just a little too late for lunch, as the kitchen was already closing. But the friendly gentleman behind the coffee bar asked what we wanted... and said it was still possible, thank you so much! The red velvet cookies we got with our matcha were delicious. I had a lovely visit to Coffeelicious in Dordrecht recently. The food was delicious and the service was very friendly throughout our meal. It’s a fantastic spot for breakfast or a casual lunch, with a great selection of cakes and bakes on offer too. The only thing to keep in mind is that they don't take reservations, so you do have to be prepared to wait for a table, especially during busier periods. However, the quality of the food and the welcoming atmosphere make it worth the wait once you’re seated. Definitely a must-visit if you’re in the area and have a bit of time to spare!

The best cookies and coffee in town!!!

We went here for the first time today. It's a lovely shop, and the food was delicious. We had two paninis and the children's pancakes. It arrived quickly, was nice and hot, and the portions were generous. The food is clearly made with love; for example, the blueberries in the children's dish were cut in half. It was a bit too crowded for me personally, with tables too close together. But despite the crowds, I would definitely go back. In short, highly recommended if you're in Dordrecht.

We ordered Dutch apple pie, it was served hot and was really delicious. It's definitely a mile better than the famous apple pie place in Amsterdam. I think their cookies are famous too, I'll try those as well.

Day out in Dordrecht last week. We stumbled upon it. It was pleasantly busy. After a short wait, we were seated at a table. I placed my order. 2 latte macchiatos, a carrot cake, and red velvet. I've never experienced such an overly sweet red velvet in my life 🥺 wow, it was so dry, yet so strangely sweet: no whipped cream or anything, but something like whipped cream fixative—way too much—with a double dose of sweetness (no sugar)... I left half of it. Such a shame.

Yesterday I bought some delicious cookies for the first time. They've been on my list for a long time, but I finally got around to it! They're truly delicious! You can't stop eating them!

But wow... they still tasted wonderfully fresh! 😍 The cookies arrived perfectly, looked gorgeous, and smelled tempting as soon as I opened the package. Every bite was a treat. Coffeelicious is always a treat. Usually for a delicious coffee with one of their delicious cookies or a cheesecake. I also had lunch recently, and it was highly recommended! It has a lovely, intimate atmosphere. The new addition for picking up cookies and other items is truly a sight to behold!

A while back, my husband and I went to Doordrecht specifically for these cookies. They were really delicious and wonderfully soft. Well, I was craving these cookies again and decided to order them. First of all, you can't order all the cookies on the website. Secondly, I finally got them almost a week later, and I'm so fried. I really didn't expect it, but these cookies are sooooo dry. The cream on top is exactly the same story! So dry that it just falls apart with every bite. So in other words, they taste good when they're delivered, but the cookies they deliver are too dry.

Coffee, cookies and panini were very good (loved the raspberry cookie and the chilli jam was very nice). I found the pancakes a bit thick and dry but still nice as well. Overall the place was cute and the service very friendly. It was also busy when I went so it was very loud.

The café offers dishes of good quality, though the preparation process is rather slow. The coffee, however, had a noticeably sour profile that may not appeal to all palates. While the service was attentive, greater coordination among the staff would significantly enhance the overall dining experience.

We had to call someone several times to place our order. The first time, they said they would be there, but then they went to the table next to us, who arrived later, so we were skipped. Only when we called them again were we finally able to order. Even though we had ordered our food earlier, the people next to us got theirs much faster. In the end, we waited over 45 minutes and received hard, burnt pancakes. Unfortunately, it wasn't a pleasant experience at all.
