Friendly staff even late at night and fresh food. Ideal if you fancy something specific or before going home after a long night out. Will go there again!

Wow! It's a really cozy place now. It doesn't feel like a snack bar; we enjoy going to Coja Snacks.

Nice snack bar, now renovated, but unfortunately there are always young people hanging around outside and inside, which sometimes makes it a bit difficult to go out for a meal with friends!

One portion of satay, one medium fries, satay sauce, two chicken nuggets, and two small Ben & Jerry's cookie doughs was €22. The satay was the worst I've ever eaten. It tasted like cardboard (from the freezer, that is). The fries were so disgusting that the inside and outside were so hard, they tasted like wood. But above all: tasteless. My two children said the chicken nuggets were good, so I'll take that for granted... I find €22 so ridiculously expensive (forty-five guilders for frozen junk). I don't understand how you're all so busy. I've never eaten worse, not even in prison... You should be ashamed of yourselves. Try to make people happy. Work on the quality. Life isn't just about making a lot of money as quickly as possible. I give your snack bar one star. That's all I can ask for. Greetings, Appie!

Great little spot open late. After walking through Amsterdam-Zuid I had the beef burger and it was spectacular. Highly recommended.

Coja Snacks is a great neighborhood snack bar on Marathonweg in Amsterdam. The frikandel (fried meatballs) and burgers are always well-prepared, savory, and exactly what you'd expect from a quick, savory snack. The satay sauce gets extra points—creamy, rich, and a favorite with many regulars. The service is incredibly friendly, with staff often greeting you with a smile and extra attention. A pleasant atmosphere, reasonable prices, and always a warm welcome. Definitely recommended for a tasty snack in the neighborhood!

Nice snack bar, with tasty food

Very clean place, had a delicious homemade cheeseburger. They have a special sauce for it (no idea what's in it, but it was delicious). The bun the cheeseburger came on was absolutely perfect. Great service, and everything looks neat, clean, and tidy. If this place were around the corner from me, I'd be in trouble :-)

Recommended wide choice on the menu. Neat and clean everything looks neat. Friendly help with my order. Ordered Turkish pizza with lamb shoarma, it was delicious and very well filled.

Every night there are youngsters with scooters in front of the snack bar. I hear them swearing at cancer every night. My mother died of cancer. The fire and the loud talking and swearing ruin my living pleasure.

Went here on the advice of the reviews. A bit disappointed with this visit myself. Opted for fries with mayonnaise, satay sauce and onions. Onions were not given in the end. Sauce was scanty. Fries were fried crispy and cooked on the inside (not sometimes that cold potato filling that you get at some places). Had a pistachio milkshake but that was prepared by machine. I should have known: the quality was poor and the taste of pistachio was hard to find. It was busy in the store and especially female customers received attention and were helped earlier. When I left I greeted the staff but was ignored. I think this is all due to the crowds. I might take a second chance after a while when it is less busy. The only plus point was the fries: they do indeed fry them perfectly.

Friendliest snack bar in the area

I thought that shawarma dish for 17 euros was outrageous, so pitiful, little shawarma, really not a shame, I've been there all my life now, I'll never go back, but I'll go to the supermarket for cheaper shawarma, and if they continue like this, they'll go bankrupt, too bad, I wish them the best of course, the atmosphere has become cold, no warm appearance

After a long time I was looking forward to the tastiest kapsalon again. Unfortunately that is no longer the case, it has become more expensive after the fire (which I completely understand). I got 4/5 fries and 1/5 meat kapsalon was not even fully filled?

UPDATE: open again after 9 months!! The nice retro train decor (see old photos) is unfortunately gone. There is a fresh coffee bar and decor now. Tasteful those coffee latte colors. See new photos. The intention is to create a workspace for the morning. Laptop, coffee. The snack bar section is as usual. I was hoping that the chip shop quality would also be upgraded somewhat with reopening. This was not the case during an initial test. Hamburger Classic was also very retro with 'sponge bun'. Really original snack bar, but it could be a little better these days. So come and see! Have a coffee or score some fries. ———- Temporarily CLOSED after fire (fire attack, not the kitchen). Clearing in progress. Beautiful train retro interior seems lost. Hopefully open again soon. How about some better fries?

Best snack bar/restaurant in the area, unfortunately they were closed for a while due to a fire, but will reopen this week. The owner and the staff who work there are all great people, always very nice and friendly, I have experienced children who had too little money but they never make a problem of it, so it will come next time. Toppers.

A good Turkish snack bar, where you can not only go for traditional Dutch snacks, but also order and take away excellent Turkish dishes or enjoy them on the spot in the unique 2nd class 'Hondekop' (which was an NS train set from the 1990s). 70-80) interior. My KETO diet was neatly taken into account, so the excellent mixed grill (kebab, shaslick and very finely chopped shawarma) came without fries and with extra raw vegetables. Garlic, sambal and onion sauce in squeeze bottles, the latter of which was not great and mayonnaise on the plate. Great job! 👍 I was lucky and was able to park for free on Sunday, right in front of the door.

Quite decent place. We had burgers. It was fun. I need to try more items to give a more appropriate rating. The burger was for 4.5 euros and it looked like a 4.5 euros burger...less stuffing, small patty.. so I need to try more items.

Standaard snackbar. Plek zat binnen om te zitten en bij mooi weer kun je ook buiten zitten. Helaas erg scheutig met wegwerpmaterialen. Ipv plastic vorkjes een afwasbare vork en een bordje ipv plastic bakje zou een verbetering zijn.

Topservice en snel en lekker zoals het moet zijn. Heeft heerlijke wraps met verschillende soorten vlees en groentem maar ook zijn broodjes zijn lekker een kleine team vaste medewerkers en eigenaar draait ook mee de buurt en verder in de o.geving weten het wel te vinden .

Comfortable place (nice seats and lot of space), lot of choice, friendly staff : i recommend
