Confectionery Arnold Cornelis in Museumkwartier

It was such a pleasure to finally come across a beautiful and authentic bakery shop. They met all my expectations. Their atmosphere and customer service was friendly, informative, and welcoming. They have a wide assortment of fresh pastries, cakes and chocolates to satisfy anyones sweet tooth. The cakes taste as good as they look. The prices were surprisingly very much reasonable. I definitely intend on returning back for the holidays to purchase a few more of their delicious, and beautiful cakes.

Very fine patisserie work, lady at the counter was helpful and friendly. The chocolate cake had a stroopwaffel base, firm chocolate mousse, and thin garnache layer on top. Very nice. My colleague says his rating is 4.7 :) No seating inside.

Just had an apple pie, was so good, tastes nice, fresh and not too sweet, also the business owner is very welcoming and nice with a warm smile, thanks :)

Very nice chocolates and cakes, cookies and more. What I get here most frequently is a traditional Dutch "kroket" as is or on a sandwich.

I would like to thank you again for the service (names Stephan), and delicious artisan cakes that you have made for us in recent years and still do. Wow just wow. The Appel Taart - my husbands says words cannot describe the deliciousness that hit his mouth. The fruit tart with cream was flaky buttery and creamy with a pop of fresh fruit goodness. Surprising was the sheer variety red raspberry blueberry kiwi mandarin strawberry and I believe passion fruit all mixing in a delight of goodness. Tourists give the waffle based pastries in Centro a miss and take the walk/metro/uber here You will not be disappointed This is a true Dutch bakery

Viennoiserie close to the level of Vienna which is rare outside of Vienna! Best place we tried in Amsterdam. Unfortunately no seating but great service and pastries.

Edit: I honestly don't recommend it!!!! It's been a week and the company can't even respond with a simple "sorry"...??? The worst place I have ever encountered in my life! The salesperson, despite informing him about the allergy, sold me a product containing an allergen. This is a tragedy.... I don't recommend it!

Oma’s appel punt and ham-kaas broodje were delicious and fresh. Also, the lady on the cashier was really nice and patient. Great place!

Great spot on Van Baerlestraat with huge options of choice.

Very unfortunate, they have delicious winter shells, unfortunately these have become smaller over time and I have also noticed that they are not always fresh. When they are fresh the puff pastry is crispy, but today it tasted like 1 day old because I sometimes get 2 so I can taste the difference.

I've been there before and the atmosphere is always good! Friendly staff and delivery is always top notch

What a lovely find! We were staying at a hotel nearby and saw this place on our walk. It was late and the bakery was closed. But we made sure we went in the morning and it was the right decision! All the pastries we ate was heavenly - nothing was overly sweet, it was just perfect!! I think there are other locations, but if you see it, make sure to stop by and treat yourself to an amazing dessert.

Cute, old Pâtisserie with great dainty sweets!

Found this gem while walking on the streets of Amsterdam. The lady in the shop was very friendly and offered free cookies to my kid. All the cookies we bought were delicious. Will definitely suggest this place to my fellow travelers visiting Amsterdam.
