The kids loved all the treats. The staff was friendly. We'll definitely be back.

The website says they open at 10:00. I promised my kids I'd go. We arrived at 11:00 and they were closed. They were probably still asleep. It's so unprofessional, but I've seen it so many times now that the owners don't stick to their own opening hours. Ugh! The kids were disappointed and had to travel so long for nothing.

I stopped by during a quiet moment to order a bubble waffle. Unfortunately, it didn't go entirely smoothly: my order wasn't initially taken, meaning I had to wait longer than the people at my table. When I finally ordered again, the order wasn't complete. The prices of the extra toppings weren't listed either, so the final bill was higher than expected. Unfortunately, my sister and I also developed stomach aches after eating.

Yesterday I was at Jack en Waffels. The atmosphere was cozy and relaxed, and the staff was friendly and hospitable, making you feel instantly welcome. The food is excellent! I would highly recommend this place to everyone.

I went for lunch and had a crepe Nutella. It was so delicious, it was amazing! And they're not stingy at all; everything is well-filled. I'll definitely be back, and I want to try breakfast!

The food doesn't match the website's description, neither the photo nor the name, as they recently changed the ingredients, according to an employee. As a result, I received a different burger than expected. I spent over €80 on my order, but unfortunately, they refused to change it, even though they knew the mistake was theirs. They didn't even offer a refund, a new bun, a discount coupon, or anything. I used to come here for the milkshakes and waffles. Sadly, this will be my last visit.

Yesterday evening (a Sunday) I went here for the first time for dessert with a group of 6 ladies. You can sit here for a long time because of the comfortable chairs. It all looks nice but I think it's already a bit outdated. I was pleasantly surprised that you can also perform salaat here 💚 However, when ordering I first asked if they had vanilla ice cream and the waitress said no, because I would have liked ice cream on a bubble waffle. So I chose whipped cream. The lady next to me ordered something and I heard something about vanilla ice cream. So I interrupted her and asked her if there was ice cream after all. She said "yes, but not separately". I think that if you have ice cream in the house you just say yes and possibly tell them that you can only choose it as a topping. But anyway, it was a miscommunication. I was the only one ordering ice cream and got my order first. The rest had to wait a while and my ice cream was melting away. The last order really came after a very long time and I don't think it was that busy. My ice cream would have melted completely if I had to wait for everyone's order before I could eat. So I couldn't wait for the rest. Also, someone else in our group had ordered churros, which were raw on the inside, she chose something else because it would take too long to wait for another portion. Fortunately, they didn't make a fuss when she said that the churros weren't good. I also read somewhere in a review about a broken tap in the ladies' toilet. Unfortunately, it is still broken. It is very inconvenient and annoying that you have to hold the tap with 1 hand to use it, otherwise the water flows outside the sink. And there were no wipes to dry your hands. Despite everything, we had a nice evening. Bad things can always happen, we were just unlucky. Despite my review, I would still recommend everyone to go there once because it is nice enough to eat and sit there and especially because you don't have to miss a salaat 💚

Obsessed with this place. Normally, when I travel, I refuse to go to the same spot twice- but I made an exception for Jack and waffles. Cutest decor, nicest wait staff, and PHENOMENAL FOOD. Both times the breakfast, speciality drinks/coffees and treats were so fresh and yummy. A must try in Amsterdam.

Had lunch here yesterday but unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience. My sandwich had several hairs in it – something that is absolutely unacceptable. When I reported this, I was given a new sandwich without any apology or understanding. No sorry, no explanation, just a replacement as if it were the most normal thing in the world. Then I still had to pay the full amount for two sandwiches and two drinks. As if that wasn't enough, both taps in the toilets were defective, which clearly indicates deferred maintenance. In addition, there was a leak at the bar, which almost got our bags wet - something that was simply ignored by the staff. Hygiene and customer friendliness do not seem to be a priority here at all. Certainly not a second time for us.

Sitting for 30 minutes waiting for food. The staff walks almost naked in the restaurant!!! then I get my food and then I see HER in my bread. How daring!!!! The staff walks around the kitchen with loose hair! Never again, dirty junk restaurant! Got a new one, completely cold and dirty. Wasn't tasty! Then I immediately got a stomach ache. the food is not good there! Too pricey for a small amount of food

Received a super bad sandwich, everything was so soft and not warm. Everything is apart. And then you call politely to pass it on, the gentleman says, "Call me in half an hour." THAT'S CRAZY! €33 for nothing!

I have never eaten such a bad chicken burger in my life. The Oreo Shake is a joke for the price of €8.50.

After waiting an hour for 2 sandwiches (I suspect that the tuna still had to be taken from the sea), the order actually arrived wet and shaken apart. When contacted by telephone, I did not receive the right service, no solution, no new order, no voucher, no returns of the money in exchange for the wet “buns”, all in all, a nasty mess and so the conversation with the operator.

Service was good, food was delivered quickly and it was a cozy place to eat.

We had high tea for a baby shower at Jack&Waffles. Service was great. Dietary requirements were carefully taken into account. Location is nicely decorated. Mohamed was a good host and was always there for us. Class! Very satisfied!

Came to have lunch with my sister today. Very nice, cheerful place, very nice employees. Despite the crowds, we were helped very well and quickly. The food was fresh and incredibly tasty. Definitely recommended. There is also a place to pray which I really liked. Definitely worth repeating and definitely recommended if you are looking for a nice place for lunch!

Unfortunately for us this is no longer worth repeating! I ordered a hamburger menu, but my hamburger was completely black on the top! And it also tasted like a burnt hamburger! Very expensive for the quality you get! I left it! What a bad chef, to decide to serve it like this!
