We just saw mice running across the floor. We left everything as it was and went to pay. We told the lady that we saw mice running around and got the response “oh okay,” so we won't be coming back.

If only I could give 0 stars. This restaurant absolutely does not deserve it. We had made a reservation for a party, but next to us was a loud Sweet 16 party, meaning we had to shout to be heard. We were only told afterwards that if you are 20 people, you have to reserve the upstairs area if you want to sit separately — just say that beforehand. We also suddenly had to pay €25 for our own cake, even though this had never been mentioned in advance. When we pointed this out, the response we received was: “That’s how it is in every restaurant.” Poor and unprofessional service. Bad food, bad service, and never again here.

Overall the food was good. Between the 4 of us we got a bubble waffle, yogurt bowl, lady pink burger, and the salmon avocado sandwich, jalapeno poppers, and drinks we got a vanilla latte and strawberry shake and chocolate milk. All delicious. The problem was we were the first ones in the place and were sat down and then had to wait 20 minutes for our order to be taken. Then it took 30 minutes for our food to come after that. No drinks. The drinks didn’t come until 20 minutes AFTER our food by the time I was almost done. The chocolate milk was literally in a can so not sure what the problem was. The table next to us who were sat after us got their drinks before us. Our jalapeño popper never came. They gave us a simple sorry and didn’t offer to comp anything, only took the poppers off the bill since they literally weren’t made. Disappointed.

!!! SALMONELLA !!! Unfortunately, my wife and her friend ate a chicken sandwich at this place today. Since this evening, they have been suffering from all sorts of things: diarrhea, vomiting, and even fainting. On top of that, we have really started to question the Dutch healthcare system. The ambulance did not come, and we had to wait an hour on the phone for the out-of-hours GP service. The result: “take paracetamol and wait it out at home, call again if it gets worse.” Regarding this company: I will take all necessary legal steps. You certainly know how to make money, but why aren't you hygienic? Why don't you take your responsibility seriously and supply safe products?

I had booked a high tea brunch far in advance, and they put my girlfriend and I in the middle of a busy gender reveal, next to the child's gifts. I ended up having to sit outside in the cold. I wouldn't recommend it for special occasions. A waste of time and money on Valentine's Day. Poor service. We had two and a half hours, but we were gone within half an hour. Gone. No second time for us.

We were served by a super attentive waitress with blonde curls; she knew exactly how to pamper us and created a great atmosphere. Highly recommended, we will definitely be back! It was a shame, though, that the restaurant cat was no longer there.

The food was fine, but it's a shame the space is so small and cramped. I was there recently, and a staff member with curly hair and a tattoo on her wrist was really unfriendly and even rude.

When I finally ordered again, the order wasn't complete. The prices of the extra toppings weren't listed either, so the final bill was higher than expected. Unfortunately, my sister and I also developed stomach aches after eating.

The food doesn't match the website's description, neither the photo nor the name, as they recently changed the ingredients, according to an employee. As a result, I received a different burger than expected. I spent over €80 on my order, but unfortunately, they refused to change it, even though they knew the mistake was theirs. They didn't even offer a refund, a new bun, a discount coupon, or anything. I used to come here for the milkshakes and waffles. Sadly, this will be my last visit.

Yesterday evening (a Sunday) I went here for the first time for dessert with a group of 6 ladies. You can sit here for a long time because of the comfortable chairs. It all looks nice but I think it's already a bit outdated. I was pleasantly surprised that you can also perform salaat here 💚 However, when ordering I first asked if they had vanilla ice cream and the waitress said no, because I would have liked ice cream on a bubble waffle. So I chose whipped cream. The lady next to me ordered something and I heard something about vanilla ice cream. So I interrupted her and asked her if there was ice cream after all. She said "yes, but not separately". I think that if you have ice cream in the house you just say yes and possibly tell them that you can only choose it as a topping. But anyway, it was a miscommunication. I was the only one ordering ice cream and got my order first. The rest had to wait a while and my ice cream was melting away. The last order really came after a very long time and I don't think it was that busy. My ice cream would have melted completely if I had to wait for everyone's order before I could eat. So I couldn't wait for the rest. Also, someone else in our group had ordered churros, which were raw on the inside, she chose something else because it would take too long to wait for another portion. Fortunately, they didn't make a fuss when she said that the churros weren't good. I also read somewhere in a review about a broken tap in the ladies' toilet. Unfortunately, it is still broken. It is very inconvenient and annoying that you have to hold the tap with 1 hand to use it, otherwise the water flows outside the sink. And there were no wipes to dry your hands. Despite everything, we had a nice evening. Bad things can always happen, we were just unlucky. Despite my review, I would still recommend everyone to go there once because it is nice enough to eat and sit there and especially because you don't have to miss a salaat 💚

Obsessed with this place. Normally, when I travel, I refuse to go to the same spot twice- but I made an exception for Jack and waffles. Cutest decor, nicest wait staff, and PHENOMENAL FOOD. Both times the breakfast, speciality drinks/coffees and treats were so fresh and yummy. A must try in Amsterdam.

Had lunch here yesterday but unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience. My sandwich had several hairs in it – something that is absolutely unacceptable. When I reported this, I was given a new sandwich without any apology or understanding. No sorry, no explanation, just a replacement as if it were the most normal thing in the world. Then I still had to pay the full amount for two sandwiches and two drinks. As if that wasn't enough, both taps in the toilets were defective, which clearly indicates deferred maintenance. In addition, there was a leak at the bar, which almost got our bags wet - something that was simply ignored by the staff. Hygiene and customer friendliness do not seem to be a priority here at all. Certainly not a second time for us.

After waiting an hour for 2 sandwiches (I suspect that the tuna still had to be taken from the sea), the order actually arrived wet and shaken apart. When contacted by telephone, I did not receive the right service, no solution, no new order, no voucher, no returns of the money in exchange for the wet “buns”, all in all, a nasty mess and so the conversation with the operator.
