Tasteless, thick-crust pizza that wasn't even cooked through. The other pizza was very salty. Tiny, but since he wasn't a viewer, no problem.

Simpel wat betreft inrichting maar dat is wat ons betreft juist een deel van de charme. Vriendelijk personeel en heerlijke pizza’s . Niet te groot, precies goed. Wij komen er graag.

Absolutely disgusting. The pizzas were small and in the oven for too long, turning them into hard disks. Lasagna bolognese with peas and diced ham was completely unappetizing... how could anyone come up with that? The tomato soup was definitely from a can, with those disgusting meatballs. Even the espresso didn't taste like espresso. Cutlery for camping. If you press too hard (which is necessary with that pizza), the fork bends. I think it's a complete disregard for customers.

I recently ate here for the first time with friends (5 people), as a resident of Dortmund. We did this, in retrospect, with mixed feelings. The place is not big and the decor is dated (80s/90s), because the space is well filled with tables it makes it noisy when it is busy and it is difficult to have a quiet conversation. The service is excellent and friendly and the service is good. Unfortunately, we are less satisfied with the food, we ordered a basket of bread with garlic butter and bruschetta and a platter of cheese, sausage, olives, etc. Unfortunately, this was very disappointing for the amount of around 20 euros it was very limited in terms of quantity and taste. The pizza was also not optimal, small and hard crust. Unfortunately, not a high score.

Had a delicious classic Ossebuco. Super tender and perfectly seasoned, just as it should be. A lovely, authentic restaurant. And excellent food.

The pizzas here are singles for the price of an LP and the lasagna is full of canned peas. What a sad, old-fashioned place where you are still hungry when you leave.

You pay about €12,- for a very small pizza. For the same money you have a gigantic pizza at Domino's. It was indicated that the pizzas would be more fully topped than pizzas at other restaurants but this was certainly not the case with the pizza margherita for example! In addition, we had ordered bread with herb butter. We had waited half an hour for this bread and it looked like an emperor roll that had been cut into 4, it was so small. The staff was friendly but this is certainly not something we will repeat.

In en in Trieste zaak. Niet eens vergane glorie want glorie heeft het nooit gehad . Zwaar verouderde inrichting , bestek dat we vroeger op de camping gebruikte en een arrogante onbeschofte bediening. De pizza's zijn gewoon lachwekkend zo klein , met een ondefinieerbare smaak. Je kon niet meer zien wat erop zat , kennelijk was alles eerst gepureerd, tevens was de korst zwaar verbrand en de bodem daardoor uitgegedroogd . De goedkoopste diepvries Pizza van de aldi smaakt nog beter!

Starter was minimum for 2 people, price not in proportion to what was on the plate. I agree with a number of people that the pizzas are very small. Salad with fennel and iceberg lettuce was very watery, no tasty dressing and little content, please indicate this. Response was, we never get any complaints about this. Unfortunately, nothing was done about our complaint. Asked for oil myself to give it some flavor. Pasta with pesto was otherwise okay. Restaurant not worth repeating for us.

Lovely authentic restaurant, not large portions but delicious food. Nice and smooth service. And very affordable!

Nice cozy Italian restaurant Delicious pizza and lasagna Service was top notch and all staff were very attentive and friendly. The best thing about the restaurant is the open kitchen that you can look into from the street side.

According to my sister-in-law, the lasagna is tastier than the one she had in Italy. The pizzas are small but packed with toppings. The prices are also small. The decor is indeed dated, but it has the charm of eating in a simple village restaurant on holiday far from major tourism. The tiramisu is also homemade. Simple but honest. Traditional and good.

I really don't understand why people who leave reviews here are so dissatisfied! Costa d'Oro is a household name in Dordt, but there is also such an authentic atmosphere that you simply have to taste. And I don't just mean the delicious food and the nice wines, but also the conviviality and the cozy atmosphere and the owner who just takes time for a chat and a photo. Seriously... on Monday evening the whole place was full, so I don't think you're doing too badly... Family Balistreri continua così!

Had dinner with Marian after many years. It's unbelievable that this fine restaurant is still there. Atmospheric, nice people and good, carefully prepared food. Recommended and not as I did: wait a long time: go!

In and in Sad case. Not even faded glory because it never had glory. Very outdated furnishings, cutlery that we used to use at the campsite and arrogant, rude service. The pizzas are just ridiculously small, with an indefinable taste. You could no longer see what was on it, apparently everything had been pureed first, the crust was also badly burned and the bottom dried out. The cheapest freezer Pizza from Aldi tastes even better!

Delicious food, cozy atmosphere.

Simple. Pleasant in a special way. Prices are low, but the dishes are considerably smaller. Bruschetta is 3x but in mini baguette size, pizza is approximately 22 cm and that is nowhere near the standard 30 cm. In terms of volume, a world of difference. The prices are not so low to justify these mini dishes. I would either adjust the prices downwards or make the dishes slightly larger, even though they have had this size for 50 years. The taste is good, that's beyond doubt. I'm going to try it again with pasta. Look how big those portions are.

Pasta was a pile of spaghetti, standard watery tomato sauce (from a jar?) on a fried bacon slab. Fortunately, plenty of cheese to make something out of it. Pizza was very small and mediocre.

The staff is very nice and the taste of the pizza and pasta was good. The big downside was that the pizzas were so small that I had to go to McDonalds afterward. The six pasta dishes almost all consist of spaghetti.

A delicious pizza, not one of 1m², but so tasty, and prepared with care and love, that you just have to go back to try another one. Tiramisu is homemade and tastes irresistibly delicious, together with an excellent cup of coffee. See you soon... highly recommended...

Whenever I walk past this Italian restaurant, the smell immediately invites me inside. Went in for the first time today and it was not a disappointment. The restaurant is nice and cozy and therefore very pleasant. You will immediately receive a warm welcome from incredibly friendly staff. It is decorated in a nostalgic way, which fits well with the location. The food was delicious, nothing to complain about! Worth repeating without thinking. Thank you Pizzeria Costa D'Oro.

Authentic Italian restaurant with authentic dishes and recipes. If you like that, this will be right up your alley. Friendly staff, but a bit cramped.

We had dinner there on December 14, 2023. We had called in advance that we had little time, we indicated what we wanted to eat and they indicated that they would make sure it was ready. That was the case when we arrived. They were very customer friendly and the food was delicious!!!

We vonden het eten vrij vlak. De bediening is aardig. De inrichting gewoontjes.

Prima kwaliteit voor een redelijke prijs. Inrichting is gedateerd, maar dat maakt het juist wel sfeervol.

Heerlijk gegeten , genoten van Ossobuco & spaghetti bolognese ook de tiramisu/limoncello was erg lekker. Vriendelijke eigenaren en bediening.

Wauw! Waan me even helemaal in Italië. Heerlijk... kom hier zeker terug.

Ik kom hier al vanaf 1974. Een geweldig mooi familiebedrijf met de lekkerste pizza's van het land. Nu ook met een heerlijk Dordts biertje in het assortiment. Erg populaire locatie, dus reserveren is de moeite waard. Op mooie avonden is er ook een klein terras op de Voorstraat.

We kwamen dineren in dit leuke italiaanse restaurantje met vrienden. Het was een bijzonder leuke ervaring. Het interieur is heel retro, zonder geforceerde moderne toetsen. simpele stoelen en tafels, dit zorgt voor een bijzondere, informele sfeer. Het eten was ook heel lekker. De pizza's zijn heel klein, maar dat zeggen ze ook al op voorhand. voor ons een leuke onverwachte ontdekking!

Al meer dan 40 jaar consequent zelfde, heerlijke kwaliteit. Wellicht anders dan de “ hippe” pizzeria die men tegenwoordig gewend is, maar juist daarom zo authentiek en ook nog eens lekker eten. En niet zeuren over de entourage: die is wat die is! Dat die pizza’s kleiner zijn dan we gewend zijn, zegt wat over ons: daar bakken ze gewoon zoals men dat deed waar de eigenaars vandaan komen! Top zaak!

Ein kleiner versteckter Familienbetrieb. Pizzen und Salat waren lecker aber unerwartet klein. Service liebevoll. Ambiente original aus den 70 ger Jahren. Interessant waren die Verkabelungen der Beleuchtung.

We hadden niet gereserveerd maar konden wel wat eten. Inrichting is ongezellig, gedateerd en heel erg toe aan een opknap beurt. Laag plafond wat niet ten goede komt aan de akoestiek. We bestelden pizza maar dit was echt een mini pizza ik denk 20 cm. Servies is echt gedateerd doet zo goedkoop aan, bij de buren zag ik ijs in een rvs schaaltje. We hebben het bij pizza gelaten. Serveerster was wel vriendelijk. Nog een tip voor keukenpersoneel: als je je neus snuit dan daarna je handen wassen.

Al sinds ik klein ben kom ik bij deze pizzeria samen met mijn opa en oma. De pizza's zijn altijd erg lekker en het personeel is altijd erg vriendelijk. Persoonlijk vind ik het ook erg leuk dat het interieur nooit veranderd is waardoor het een erg knus restaurantje is. Deze pizzeria is echt een pareltje en zeker het bezoeken waard!

Heerlijk gegeten. Prima en vriendelijke bediening. Gezelige sfeer. Gewoon doen!

Fantastic throughout. Someone we went with said the place hasn't changed since his parents went on a date there in the 70s. Calm, comfortable, nice atmosphere, starters and pizza was all delicious, good amounts and inexpensive, had some lovely beer and our friend was able to choose from a selection of teas. All of the staff friendly and smiling on every interaction. Would strongly recommend!

Een heel ouderwets restaurant! Heeft de uitstraling van de 70 jaren. Eten was perfect, prijs kwaliteit in prima verhouding. Pizza’s klein maar super lekkere bodem en was rijk en vers belegd. Als het restaurant interieur aangepast wordt naar de huidige tijd staan ze in de rij voor een tafel. Zeer vriendelijk personeel.

Wij komen hier erg graag, het eten is er heerlijk! Je moet wel rekening houden met lange wachttijden voordat het hoofdgerecht op tafel komt. Trek met gemak 3 uur uit om hier te gaan eten.

Heel erg lekker maar inderdaad ze zijn te klein

Na een hele lange tijd weer eens met een gezelschap gegeten. Ik vind het eten aardig, maar zeker niet bijzonder. Gelijk het interieur is hetballemaal blijven hangen in de jaren '70. Toch vinden veel mensen de pizza's lekker.

Wat een desillusie! Zelden zo weinig smaakvol ergens gegeten. We hadden gereserveerd omdat altijd vol zit. Wij begrijpen niet waarom. Voorgerecht de antipasti was zo summier en niet bijzonder, dat we elkaar aankeken: dit zal een grapje zijn. Hoofdgerecht mij man kreeg 1/4 gesneden krop ijsbergsla, 2 plakjes tomaat, 3 plakjes komkommer en een dun plakje vlees met een stukje brood. Meer een bijgerecht. Zeg had ik spaghetti zoals supermarkt, tomatensaus uit een pot en daaroverheen Italiaanse kruiden uit een potje. Wij zullen hier nooit meer naartoe gaan. Op zich vriendelijke mensen en het interieur is sinds oprichting niets meer aan gedaan, wat wij wel aantrekkelijk vinden. Het eten is alleen niet zo authentiek nog bijzonder of smaakvol. Heel jammer.

Na heel veel jaren weer geweest. Retro inrichting maar dat maakt het gezellig en leuk. Vriendelijk personeel ondanks drukte. Prima prijzen voor heerlijk eten

This "Pizza" 🍕 we can easily call mini pizza it's size of 15 - 20 cm for € 11 it's the to way small. But the size and price it's not a bigest problem. Pizza was dry, and not tasty at all. I think that was the worse pizza I ever had. So safe time and money an go get your frozen pizza from supermarket - I guarantee it's gonna be much better then mini pizza from Costa d'Oro

Absolutely love the vibe of this pizzeria. My self I work in an Italian restaurant and this place by far gives the most family business vibes ever. Also the pizzas are smaller than in a normal Italian restaurant. This adds to the uniqueness and flair. Bonus is it’s cheaper and you don’t feel super stuffed afterwards. The food quality is also amazing. If you are looking for an authentic, cute, affordable place with good excellent food. Costa d’Oro is the place to go in Dordrecht Except that they don’t have my favorite mozzarella:(

Altijd heerlijk gegeten hier. Fijn adres en fijne mensen. Geen poespas maar gewoon lekker eten. Ik raad dit adres absoluut aan. De pizza's lijken klein maar het is echt genoeg en ik ben een grote eter.

Heerlijke pizza's. Gezellig en vriendelijke bediening. En ook lekkere glutenvrije Pizza.

Lekkere pizza, niet heel groot maar wel snel klaar en goede prijs.

We hadden honger en ook niet veel tijd om lang in een restaurant te zitten. Andere restaurants waren vol. Gelukkig waren we hier welkom. Pizza kleiner dan dat je gewend bent. Maar tot het laatst toe, lekker knapperig. Toetjes zijn nostalgisch en niet duur. Maar ze hebben ook de citroen of sinaasappel gevuld met ijs! Die is dan weer niet goedkoop.
