Good food; good service (though the place is 100% understaffed), and quaint ethnic atmosphere.

Very cozy sitting with our family. Even an adjustment in a dish was possible. Top and thanks again this visit has added an extra cozy touch to our 35th wedding anniversary!😀👍

My previous review was from Father's Day last year. Buuuuuut yesterday we ate at Cubanos again: the quality has remained stable! First a nice drink on the terrace, then sat inside. We asked for another spot because of a hearing problem, and that was solved very quickly for which praise. Everyone is friendly and relaxed and the service is open to everything. This time we ate a burrito: 1 with chicken and 1 with beef and they were both very tasty, a lot of meat too and delicious filling. A portion of fine crispy fries completed the dinner. Afterwards another drink on the terrace and in this way we had had 4 different tags by now. But Titus just keeps smiling friendly and he understands it all. Praise boy and also praise to the waitresses and the chef! The evening was again a great success. Hopefully see you soon!!

This restaurant was recommended by another company in Groenlo where they rent out canoes. It was highly recommended. Fast service, friendly staff and very importantly, delicious sandwiches.

It was very tasty! We had burgers, nachos and a grill plate. Everything tasted very delicious! The only negative point was the spare ribs for children - the sauce is too spicy. The portion is great!

Food was quite good. Large portions. Service was mediocre. Not very attentive, tap water not available, wine not for tasting, pour yourself, etc. Wanted to have a cocktail at the bar after dinner. Fine according to the waitress, but once at the bar this turned out to be really not the intention; despite the available bar stools.

Price-quality ratio was insufficient. Food was too salty for me. Comment about this was not taken seriously. The soup tasted almost the same as the main course. Summary, reasonable food for the asking prices.

Beautifully decorated. Great meal. Good, smooth service that radiates pleasure.

Delicious food, restaurant is nicely decorated

Compared to the last time, I thought the food was just bad, but I think my table companions thought it was fine. My piece of tournedos was completely done. The filling of the tacos way too sweet. The chicken satay was made from fried pieces of chicken, so the outside was hard and chewy. Add salad or vegetables, which you have to order separately. Quite spicy when you know that the main course costs 30 Euro. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very nice, it is beautifully decorated, very atmospheric. Service was inexperienced but very friendly and driven.

Food was tasty, just found the portions to be on the meager side. For 6 adults we received 2 small bowls of fries in total with the main course. After ordering 2 portions we received 2 larger bowls of fries??? Why not directly for 6 people?

Very nice restaurant The South American bean soup is highly recommended! However, the Venezuelan pulled pork was disappointing… unfortunately far too much corn. It looked more like soup than a main dish.

Super friendly staff, cozy restaurant, but above all, the food was delicious. I have not enjoyed such delicious and slightly different surprising dishes in a long time. The taste was perfect and the portions were generous. Highly recommended!

Had a great evening. Super friendly service. The cook came by when we were just in the restaurant. My wife who does not like hot food asked if a dish was spicy. The chef came with a small bowl to taste. It was not spicy so my wife chose this. What a service.

We had a delicious meal at Cubanos! And what is so great, but not mentioned online, is that a large part of their menu can be prepared gluten-free without leaving anything out. Really fantastic! The restaurant itself also looked very attractive on the inside and the service was friendly and good! We will definitely come back!

Our first introduction to Cubanos was during a Sunday afternoon brunch. It was perfectly prepared with surprisingly delicious snacks (including soup and dessert). The atmosphere was immediately good thanks to the saxophonist who provided the people at the table with a cheerful note🥳. The drinks served were also delicious, even the non-alcoholic cocktail! In between, your legs left the floor and before you knew it you forgot the gray gray Netherlands and imagined yourself in sunny Cuba. ¡ Hasta pronto!

Had a super nice afternoon at Cubanos. Enjoying cocktails and snacks with a friend and daughter, delicious. All this while enjoying beautiful live music🎷, where it was impossible to stay in the chair. Highly recommended and we would love to be there again next time. Super all-in concept. Had a delicious meal at Christmas in this tent! Good atmosphere and friendly service!

On Boxing Day we took the 3-course Christmas menu for €57.50 p.p. It was absolutely not a success. For example, a completely tasteless shrimp cocktail, a bone-dry game platter, austere/bare, unimaginative main course and a cheap mess as a "grand dessert". The restaurant looks nice and attractive, the service is excellent, but the food was really not OK (for a lot of money!!!).

This was our first time eating here and we were impressed by the quality of the food, the decoration of the restaurant (the Cuban atmosphere was particularly good) and despite the crowds due to the Battle of Grolle, the service was very friendly and good. After a beautiful afternoon in Groenlo, conclude the "Battle of Grolle" with dinner at Cubanos, on a tip from an acquaintance from Groenlo. They said this is recommended, unfortunately it has become one big disappointment for us. Reserve a table in advance, you will be put under a staircase (due to crowds) We ordered drinks and it took quite some time before they were brought, in the meantime we were asked if we already knew what we wanted to eat. Order is taken and what happens, food is delivered even earlier than the ordered drinks. The tacos (chewy-soft) stuck to the container they were in. According to my wife it was tasteless and greasy. On my plate was the mix grill, as far as the chicken was concerned it seemed as if it had been fried (tasteless - greasy). The sparerib was okay - steak mediocre. The food was basically tasteless - disappointing for what you have to pay for it. What should have been a nice ending for us ended in a major deception. The answer of, it is/was busy as an excuse does not work for me. Busy - waiting is not a problem and we accept and understand that. But the kitchen must keep its quality standard and good when serving. A very dissatisfied customer

Contrary to the description, there are unfortunately no vegan dishes. However, they were willing to serve us fries with ketchup, which were really delicious, and to serve the salad without goat cheese and egg. The service was very friendly, the atmosphere was nice and the food arrived at the table super quickly.

The spare ribs are highly recommended. So tender, I have lived in the Achterhoek for 10 years now, but these are the best ribs so far. I'll be back soon.

There were two of us there, but unfortunately we got a table on the corner right next to the door. Nevertheless, the ambience of this restaurant is beautiful. The price of the food is a bit higher but the taste is perfect. We had a wonderful evening and really enjoyed the food and drinks.

The beg arg good moar it was a bit too full even for hard fighters. In ABN; It tastes very good but it was a bit too much even for hard workers. (this sounds less nice than in the dialect) In other words; here you can have a good time!😋👌

Food was excellent, portions WAY TOO SMALL, unfortunately. So you are forced to either order a starter or order portions of fries. Personally, I think if you pay 26.50-30.50 for a main course, you should get more than a piece of meat and a bowl of fries. Even after ordering an additional portion of fries (€4.50) I was still hungry. In my group, 6 out of 7 people were still hungry after the main course. "Grumpy" is the word that comes to mind. If you don't mind that, or would like to order a (large) starter, then this restaurant is definitely recommended. If the portions had been large enough, the food would have gotten 5 stars from me. Service and atmosphere were not particularly good or bad. Just "ok"

Delicious food. Spareribs were so overcooked that the meat fell off the bone. Starters fine, staff nice and helpful. Prices of the bottles of wine are too expensive for what they are actually worth.

Really quaint. It was hot, we were thirsty. A little wind from the trees, a small table in the shade and we felt like we were in Cuba. Very cozy.

The atmosphere is good (although I wouldn't play American rock music in a Cuban restaurant). The service is friendly. Unfortunately, those are the only two positives. - I think the food and drinks are really expensive. - The non-alcoholic pina colada actually only tasted like sweet coconut and lacked the pineapple. - It takes quite a while before you are helped, after twenty minutes we had to ask if we could order, a new round of drinks only came after an hour. - If you ask for food without coriander and it is there, that is a shame and sloppy. - One of the shrimps was not peeled properly and was still in its red jacket. - The three soft shell tacos are well filled, in fact they are too well filled and cannot be eaten properly. The one thin paper napkin was really not enough. This should include a good quality napkin and/or a wet cloth. - A coke comes without ice or lime or anything, but you still pay top price. - Nacos, tacos, burritos... that has nothing to do with Cuba. This is Tex-Mex food. In Cuba they eat lobster, fish, chicken, rice and beans.

Although I have never been to Cuba myself and therefore do not know Cuban cuisine inside and out, I still suspected that the Cubanos menu is strongly adapted to Dutch tastes. However, this made no difference to the experience as the food was truly excellent! From the first bite to the last, the dishes were delicious and well seasoned. The service was smooth and very friendly, which is a big plus in my book. Moreover, the cozy atmosphere made it a pleasure to dine here. All in all, Cubanos is definitely worth a visit for anyone who enjoys good food, even if you are not an expert in Cuban cuisine.

Summer drinks and delicious food with our Sensire regional team. The round table is a real plus, we were seven people and this table was very suitable for this. Plenty of food and very well cared for. Service good and atmosphere generally very pleasant. Nice background music completed the atmosphere.

What a very nice restaurant! The decor is super cozy with lots of frills. Very fun for children to look around. The service was very friendly and fast. And the food was simply excellent! A sunny, attractive spot in the back corner to eat... even when it rains.

Cozy Food was okay, I chose a trio soft shell taco. !!BIG PLUS!! was that I could replace the pulled pork with beef and I really liked that. Too bad that option is not included as standard. It's a shame that there was a carrot and pea mix as vegetables, but this is a personal preference. Tasted nothing less! Price is quite on the high side, paid 26.50 but didn't think it was really worth it. All in all a great nice restaurant!

We all had a delicious meal, so full that dessert no longer fit, good portions! I had the short ribs as a main course, they were the tastiest I have ever eaten!! We will definitely come back!
