We sat in the conservatory, beautifully decorated with festive Christmas decorations, which immediately immersed us in the warm, wintery Christmas spirit. The starter and main course were generously portioned and freshly prepared—you can taste the quality in every bite. The Hot Aperol was a surprising and very successful twist; perfect for warming up after a cold winter evening in Valkenburg. Looking for a cozy atmosphere, delicious food, and great prices? Good food. We had pancakes with bacon and scones. They were delicious.

Had a wonderful lunch. Very friendly and funny hosts. Service was fast and good. Nice covered seating area, well heated even on cold days.

It was a pleasant place to sit, but the food was a little disappointing for me. There were two people in my group who had ordered the same thing, so they were a bit disappointed. The other two dishes were very tasty, though.

We ate here yesterday to celebrate my birthday. The food was delicious, especially the boneless ribs, which were truly delicious. The price-quality ratio was excellent. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We took some of the food with us, and the staff wrapped it up like chicken and eggs! A lovely surprise, the icing on the cake of a wonderful evening. Highly recommended!

We stopped here for a hot chocolate, a Chocomel with cream, at lunch. The price was reasonable for Dutch standards. The taste was typical of a Chocomel; the cream was very rich, creamy, and fine. We were served by a friendly employee who, although not dressed like a traditional waiter, worked quickly and spoke a few words of German. The café/restaurant is located on Theodoor Dorrenplein, quite centrally located, making it ideal for those in Valkenburg. It has a terrace, where you can sit outside, and it seems particularly cozy in nice weather. If you're looking for a nice place where you can enjoy coffee, a light lunch, or a glass of wine with good company, Cup & Vino is a solid choice. Not super fancy, but with charm, good quality, and a pleasant atmosphere.

Too bad they closed just as we were about to order. Great service! Great place!

A very long wait for breakfast with only a few guests on the terrace. Don't order the yogurt or granola. It's really not good. Bland yogurt and canned fruit.

Fijn terras, vriendelijke bediening. Super eerlijke mensen. Per ongeluk portemonnee uit broekzak gevallen. Gebeld naar de zaak, medewerker had portemonnee gelijk ontdekt en apart gehouden. Wat een opluchting voor ons . Super veel dank voor het vinden en uw eerlijkheid!! We komen zeker weer terug.

Had a cup of this magnificient Sri Lankan tea " Bradleys". One can't aquire this tea from regular grocery stores, only rare tea houses carry this, actually I have never seen this in any tea place, rare stuff. This Cup & Vino was no different, so brought my own 🏆🙇🏻‍♂️🥇 But the place is good and all that, looks good inside too. The rumor is, the sell food here 🍔🥙🥪

Lovely terrace and enjoyed Kruiswachter beer from Brand. On the recommendation of the super nice girl Helena who works there.

We wanted to enjoy the amazing Dutch desserts on our way to Aachen. Unfortunately, didn’t reach our expectation. Chai latte was really good, just a bit too sweet. Fresh orange juice lacked freshness or taste and was brought too fast to be made after order. Cakes weren’t very tasty or crunchy, very average.

A terrible 50 minute wait for your soup while people came later and got the croquette sandwich earlier. So terrible. If you have Michielsen there, make sure it is good. At Michielsen, where we came at least 15 years ago, it was great and delicious, but after 60 minutes there was still no soup. No apology from the boss either. Do you want people. If they don't come from Valkenburg then

What a pleasant time on the terrace with a refreshing beer! The square offered a beautiful view.

The service was very nice and quick, but the Uitsmijter was the worst thing I've eaten in this direction in a long time. The fried egg was a ready-made omelet with 4 slices of tasteless bacon, draped on 3 slices of dry whole grain bread..... It was just dry and tasteless! And that for 13€! I've already eaten an Uitsmijter in the Netherlands and all of them were better and cheaper than this dry thing. But the coffee latte was very good. So for one I'd happily go again but I'd rather eat somewhere else.

Long ago I drank such delicious coffee on the terrace, delicious Illy. Flan with whipped cream is also great 👌🏻

Since 22 March 2025 my favourite café in Valkenburg has expanded by incorporating the café nextdoor. I urge you to visit this fine establishment now offering extended hours Friday to Sunday in the new location. The normal high level of service from the owners and staff remain in place. You won't be disappointed. Go along and find out for yourselves.

Coffee is ok, tomato soup was unfortunately not tasty. They ask if you like it, but if you say it doesn't, unfortunately there is no response.

Had breakfast at Cup & Vino this morning based on all the rave reviews, and we don't regret it! The service was very friendly and hospitable. We are regularly asked whether everything is satisfactory, etc. The food itself was delicious! The latte macchiato had firm foam as it should, and together with a dollop of whipped cream and a piece of pastry, a good combination. The pancakes with blueberries, whipped cream and fruit were deliciously filling.

The ice cream and cake as well as the coffee are very good! We ask in Dutch for “servettes”, there are two of us and we only receive one! Weird...otherwise very good place, clean!

Cozy environment and excellent coffee! Unfortunately, the greeting consisted of: “just say so” and any visual contact with the customer was avoided. But then again, it was Monday morning.

Erg onvriendelijke eigenaar, zaten wespen in de cola en haar in het eten. Kreeg te horen dat ik het dan binnen had moeten opeten, lekker met 26 graden. Hele matige service. Ik kom hier nooit meer terug, een aanfluiting.

Large and cozy terrace in the center of Valkenburg. Service is attentive and smooth. Decoration with elements from Ibiza and nice chairs with cushions where you can sit comfortably and watch the people passing by.

Located in Valkenburg and as you would expect, lively and touristy. The food was fine and the staff very friendly. The only downside is that you sit too close together inside, too many tables in relation to the space. Otherwise a great place to have a bite to eat!

Vandaag weer even in Valkenburg geweest en bij Cup en Vino langs gegaan. Ondanks de drukte konden we een plaatsje vinden. Snelle, vriendelijke en correcte bediening. Heerlijke fish en chips en zuurvlees gegeten. Lekkere wijnen, Complimenten wederom!

Nous nous sommes arrêtés à tout hasard dans ce café/restaurant un soir de marché de Noël et nous avons appréciés. Prix démocratiques et générosité dans le service

Het eten was van zee slechte kwaliteit. Ik bestelde brood met avocado en ei. Het was een zeer dunne snee brood, avocado die reeds eerder geprakt was en dus niet vers… koffie daarentegen was wel goed en vers gezet. Wij raden deze plek niet aan voor ontbijt.

Super service. Vriendelijk personeel. Snelle bediening. En eten smaakt heerlijk.

We hebben even het terras bezocht voor een heerlijk kopje koffie ☕tevens nogmaals rond gekeken naar de schade die zij ondervonden van de overstromingen 🥺

We waren er van het weekend en er gebeurde iets bijzonders nl. een paar tafels voor ons werd een meisje van ik denk goed n jaar of acht gestoken, en werkelijk de ober Paul zo bleek deze te heten ging er gelijk naar toe en zette werkelijk alles op alles om hen te helpen er kwam ijs van de jongere gasten werd gestoken, hij straalde echte bezorgdheid uit, hartverwarmend voor iedereen 👌

De lekkerste vlaai haal je Hier als wij dagje valkenburg doen halen we hier altijd een heerlijk expresso en cappuccino en daarbij kersenvlaai en rijstevlaai.

Heerlijke brunch gehad, uitsmijter en broodje gezond met koffie en latte maciatto. Goede en snelle service.
