Great pizzeria!!! Nice atmosphere, and you immediately feel welcomed. Inside, it's small but cozy. The waitress has to maneuver between tables.

Wow! We had a wonderful meal here. You can taste the freshness. Small and cozy, it feels like you're in Italy. If we're ever traveling through Bunnik, we'll definitely eat here again.

Delicious! We had pasta arabiata, wonderfully spicy. The portion could have been bigger. I was still hungry after finishing the dish. It's on a main street, so you constantly have traffic passing by.

We spontaneously stopped by for dinner with our child and had the Pizza Romana and the Pizza Burrata. Both were very good. The prices are fair. The service is friendly, prompt, and courteous.

We ate in Bunnik. No offense to the staff or the terrace, but I just really didn't like the pizza. It's hard to explain why, but the crust was hard and airy, and the pizza didn't have any real, authentic ingredients (like cheese/mozzarella shavings instead of proper mozzarella). It just felt like cheap takeout pizza. Fine for a one-off if you have no other options, but compared to a truly good pizza, it's only worth two stars. The reason I'm writing and posting this isn't to criticize the restaurant, but with a 4.8 rating, it raises expectations when you dine here, and I'm writing this to lower those expectations a bit. That way, even people with high expectations will be less disappointed. I really don't recognize the other photos people posted here at all in what we were served.

The food was truly delicious. The desserts are also highly recommended. The staff is very friendly. It was my daughter's birthday, and they even put her in the spotlight. So sweet. We will definitely be back!

Drie avonden aan één stuk hebben we hier elke avond mogen genieten van fantastisch eten, hele aardige, attente serveersters en smaakvolle wijnen Als we weer in de buurt komen, hopen we dat we weer mogen aanschuiven.

What a party. Like being in Italy. You can't choose wrong. Everything is delicious. What also makes it for me is that you can drink San Benedeto ice tea.

Always a pleasure to eat here. Recommended to start with the Bruschetta possibly enriched with ham. Then plenty of choice; we went for the fusilli, she with pesto & cream and I nice and spicy.

Delicious food! The restaurant is small and simply furnished, with a few tables outside. We (two friends) sat outside. The food is very tasty, truly Italian, and the service is very friendly. We would definitely like to come back. We didn't know the restaurant because neither of us live in the area, but we went by the positive reviews. Rightly so! We also particularly liked the Italian coffee.

Nice and busy, tiny restaurant that completely exudes the Italian atmosphere of a small trattoria in Italy! But then in Bunnik. Lots of choice of good, Romanesque pizza and many types of pasta. Be sure to check out the specials: we had rigatoni with guanciale and asparagus and ravioli with eggplant, scamorza and peppers. You wouldn't expect baked-off ciabatta in bruschettas of this quality, but the pizzaiola can probably make that bread better itself with some leftover pizza dough. Super creamy tiramisu for dessert! Also friendly prices for these times. Also pick up.

Delicious food! I can honestly say that I just ate the best pizza ever. This restaurant is a hidden gem in Bunnik. The food is prepared with great care, attention and fresh ingredients. I went there with the family and it was great, super fun and the bruscettas were really one of the best dishes of the year. The pizza was also perfect and they made everything fresh with super tasty fresh ones products. The pizza was nice and crispy and with a super tasty sauce. For dessert I had the canneloni with pistachio and it was so nice and crunchy with perfect cream in it that this restaurant/takeaway is definitely recommended and also for a very good price.

Small place but with 100% Italian food, delicious, with quality products. Very good service and kindness. Don't hesitate to choose it as a place to eat, dine or take takeaway. We fell by chance to sleep nearby and it is a place to go specifically to eat. We will return if we can.

Heerlijke bruscetta en crostini met perfect gebakken gambas, ansjovis en tomaat. Pizza's zijn heerlijk, weekend special met aubergine ravioli met gegrillde groenten echt heerlijk. Wow, what a discovery! My daughter and I had a delicious pizza here yesterday! Not greasy at all, just delicious! This was by far the best restaurant I have ever eaten at in my life. I have been to many star restaurants, but this place stands head and shoulders above them all. After eating I felt like I was in heaven.

On the way home my stomach started growling. It was time for a nice meal. But when you're on the highway, that's not always easy. I found Da Francesca online. And what luck. The service was fast, people enjoyed their work and the food was really delicious. It's not far off the highway and it was more than worth getting off the highway for a while. Mama mia what a hidden gem. Overnight stay in a dreary hotel and dreary food? No, just a short drive into Bunnik and you will find truly passionate Italian food. Pasta, Pizza, vino and dessert and everything with fresh ingredients full of flavor. Love it.

When we didn’t find an Italian Restaurant in Utrecht where we could eat spontaneously, we searched for a restaurant nearby and were absolutely surprised by Da Francesca. Everybody was absolutely friendly, the Pizza was delicious and against the description at Google, they had four tables to eat at. Thank you!! You even saved our children‘s mood (and therefore ours ;) ).

Picked up for a second time today (Ravioli filled with lobster and the sauce of langoustines, mussels and shrimps) and once again excellent food. And also super friendly, on time and neatly packaged. We will definitely go here more often!

To be honest, we don't understand the many rave reviews. We had two reasonable pizzas, but they were certainly not worth five stars. We thought the pizzas were dry, a bit tougher than normal and could have used more flavor. There were also large pits in the olives that you wouldn't expect from such a pizza. In our opinion, it could have had more flavor. I thought it was pricey for what we got. Furthermore, the pizzas were ready on time and the location is somewhat attractive.

Very good food, especially for the price. Lots of choice and really good taste. Service was very friendly and relaxed, the location is also nice in Bunnik. We were there a little earlier so it was a bit quiet, so the atmosphere was not (yet) optimal.

Authentic Italian cuisine, hospitable staff and we thoroughly enjoyed the starter, main course and dessert. Tastiest pasta ever eaten: fusilli gambereti and don't forget to order a delicious dessert such as the tiramisu! We will have a bite to eat here again soon. Thank you!

We arrived to see if we could eat on location and there was still a spot available. We received a friendly welcome and the atmosphere was very pleasant. And as icing on the cake, the food was also very tasty. I'm not from the area but if I'm close I would definitely eat here again

Got a 4 cheese pizza at Da Francesca. The lady on the phone when ordering told us about the monthly menu. Initially I thought "am I calling a Chinese person?" but when I was told that they have some dishes occasionally, I thought it was very clever of her. Once inside, I was surprised by almost everything... everything here exudes "passion for Italian cuisine". Very special and a pity that there are not so many of these gems. This time we didn't need more than a pizza, but it won't stop there. How special I thought it was became apparent later in the car when tears unexpectedly rolled down my cheeks and I realized how much I miss Italian cooking with so much passion. I cannot give Da Francesca a greater compliment. Grazie mille e la prossima volta! Ciao! dad. their cheesecake…… WOW

Ordered a few dishes including pizza, which unfortunately was dry and the crust was burnt and hard. When asked if we liked it and gave out honest reply/opinion, we were scolded.

Wat een superplek. Heerlijk eten, veel keuze en echte Italiaanse smaken: goede pizza, maar ook heerlijke pasta’s en dagspecialiteiten, ook vis en vegetarisch. De eigenaar (één van de broers van Broodje Mario in Utrecht en zijn dochter Francesca) ontvingen ons gul en hartelijk. Het is een kleine zaak, met een paar tafels en en wordt veel afgehaald, maar wij hebben er ook gezellig een hele avond kunnen zitten. Prijzen zijn echt meer dan redelijk. Vraag hun als voorgerecht een combinatie van antipasti samen te stellen en je wordt verrast!

Heerlijk authentiek Italiaans eten, net alsof je in een klein Siciliaans dorpje in een lokaal restaurantje zit te eten! Je wordt altijd vriendelijk en persoonlijk geholpen en het eten smaakt super goed, of je het nou afhaalt op ter plekke eet.

Ik woon een tijdje in Bunnik en dit is een van de pareltjes van het dorp. Voor de duidelijkheid, ik heb er tot nu toe alleen afgehaald. Eten: het eten is erg goed, en ik heb een leuke anecdote voor de kwaliteit. Ik had een tijdje terug een pizza slice over die ik in de koelkast heb gelegd. Toen ik deze er 6 dagen later uithaalde om op te eten was de korst nog steeds goed. Service: snel, vriendelijk en betrokken. Sfeer: het voelt knus, intiem en huiselijk.

Super heerlijk gegeten. De tortelini porcini en cannoli met crème sterk aan te raden. Veel keus! Bovenal een goede ervaring.

Da Francesca is niet meer weg te denken uit het straatbeeld van Bunnik en omgeving. Voor authentieke, vers bereide Italiaanse gerechten en desserts ben je hier aan het juiste adres! Naast de menukaart, die al aan alle wensen voldoen, bieden zij ook weekend specials. Die gerechten variëren ieder weekend en zo wordt je echt mee op reis genomen door Italië. Er wordt met heel veel liefde en passie gewerkt, ook het personeel is erg vriendelijk en denkt goed mee met de wensen van de gast. Voor ieder wat wils. Mijn complimenten! PS: Vergeet je avondmaal niet af te sluiten met de huisgemaakte tiramisu, absoluut een aanrader!
