Day by Day in Wijk 07 Scheveningen

I spent an afternoon here with my sister. We have been helped very well. We really felt like VIP guests. And that is mainly because of Ginger's great service that she offered us. She is the best!! 🥰

After we ordered lunch I took my two year old to wash her hands. My toddler was barefoot. That should be normal right? We're at the beach. The waitress seemed to purposely walk by to ACCUSE me of washing her feet. I reacted politely saying that I'm here to wash her hands before eating. Then she continues to yell: "DONT LIE! I know you are going to." I am not sure but this just feels like racially profiling and definitely improper attitude with false accusations. This all happened in Dutch. I am native Dutch but just look Asian. Very disappointed and hurt. Unacceptable.

Dysfunctional staff would have left here according to the owner (?), unfortunately this did not apply to the dysfunctional, antisocial manager. Bald, loud-mouthed first class who barks at his staff. Food was a disaster, expensive and small portions. Drinks took an above-average amount of time to arrive. The girl who came to take the order also had no idea what she was doing. Further on at Mood Beach excellent help!

Whit Monday we spent a day in Scheveningen with a good friend. We soon came to Day by Day and De Golfslag. Friendly service in the afternoon when ordering drinks, a cheerful waitress with an eye and feeling for the customer. We had recently experienced the opposite at another beach bar, so we were hopeful. That hope came true. After a drink we took an extended walk, and after visiting some beach bars for something to eat, we ended up at Day by Day and De Golfslag again. Drink a sangria and enjoy the sun. Decided to have something to eat there. We went for the Salmon Trout and a Schnitzel. And they were tasty. A big plus here: The Schitzels are not just put in the pan and fried......no-no-no deliciously tender own recipe for the breading and fried on a plate with butter. Wow who. We will definitely go again. Certainly no question of dysfunctional staff (anymore), the opposite. In addition to the fast service, extremely friendly, polite and customer-oriented. Definitely worth a tasty meal. Meals are affordable and delicious. So definitely worth a try!! As far as we're concerned, see you next time. Good luck next season with a new formula! Top bediening! Heerlijk gegeten

Bizar slechte bediening. Erg lang moeten wachten en steeds om aandacht moeten vragen want anders kwamen ze niet. Eten was wel erg lekker. Bediening is niet geschikt voor dit mooie vak.

Vroeg iets aan de dame die er werkt, keek me recht aan en draaide zich toen om. Werd compleet genegeerd. Voor de rest was de bediening oké gezien de drukte.

Prettig personeel en een relaxte sfeer bij de ondergaande zon. Aan de Boulevard voor het Kurhaus hotel. Prima plek.

Lekker aan het strand met een 0.0 in de hand. Heel vriendelijk personeel

Geweldige en gezellige tent, personeel is super vriendelijk en het eten en de zomerse vibe is zeker aan te raden! ☺

Drank veel te duur. Gerechten werden niet geserveerd ivm drukte.echter waren alle duurdere gerechtjes wel te bestellen. Borden waren karig. MN dochter wilde nachos als diner...dit mocht niet, ze moest een maaltijd afnemen. (Na 5 hoofdgerechten plus een voorgerecht is dat echt schandalig) Uiteindelijk kregen we koffie en thee a la 3 EUR in een plastic bekertje zonder koekje of iets erbij. Ben bij heel veel tentjes geweest op Scheveningen maar dit is toch veruit de slechtste.

Halve kip was opgewarmd in de magnetron, koud en roze van binnen. Gevaarlijk om te eten. Fish en chips, de chips waren goed, de vis (?), zogenaamde kibbeling was opgewarmd in de magnetron en slap. Nadat wij de kip en de vis hebben terug gestuurd, kwam de vis nogmaals opgewarmd terug. De kip was gewoon niet meer te redden. De bediening bood dapper hun excuses aan en wij hoefden dan ook alleen voor het drinken te betalen. Eten zou ik afraden.

Drinken vrij prijzig. Tosti zeer matig met een verdwaald frietje op het bord. Locatie mooi

Latte Matchiato voor 3.80 die je meteen ook nog eens op kunt drinken

Leuke locatie en aardige bediening.

Gezellige plek om een prima maaltijd te nuttigen. Vriendelijke bediening en een redelijke prijs.
