What a beautiful discovery! Beautiful garden and nice accommodation for a short pit stop!

A nice pub in the winding streets of Groenlo. Iconic ambience, friendly service and the typical midnight snacks. I was there for a private birthday party. I really liked it and would like to come back on a regular evening basis.

Had a great time on the terrace. Big advantage: no more main road to Zieuwent, so much quieter and nice on the terrace. Cozy outside. BBQ super organised, good and fast service with nice cold Duke Jan from a bottle. Too bad: you can't go inside for 5 euros. Toilet: many broken, hole in door. Paint needs to be replaced....

Nice guy, nice place. Always something to do, good choice of music, wide beer list, plenty to snack on and a nice sausage and cheese board. If you happen to be lucky enough, you will get the chance to taste the homemade salmon-crab salad with homemade whiskey cocktail sauce, a real delight! If there is still room, ask for the walnut ice cream with home-made whipped cream, you won't get any closer to heaven alive. The owner and his staff never hesitate to surprise you with culinary surprises!
