De Bakkersmolen in Wijk 01 Elburg

Waited over 45 minutes before an order for lunch was even taken, then waited another 45 minutes for lunch….

On a Wednesday, not even 20% full at all tables and nobody inside, endless waiting for your drink which made us almost want to leave. You can't call a salmon sandwich salmon, so watery that I didn't even eat it, and the price?: €15.50 for 2 slices of bread with the cheapest salmon you can think of in my opinion. Bad business and not recommended

Today (June 20) at half past 11 we were at this super nice place, hoping to have a nice lunch. We sat outside on the terrace, it was not busy. After waiting half an hour for someone to come and ask if we wanted something to drink we just left. The service walked around the terrace but was not approachable at all, head down and walking fast. Unfortunately the service lacks a bit of direction, which is a shame for such a company because the location is really great.

We like to get our sandwiches and chocolate here.

Today we went here for dinner with our 3 year old son. I ordered a brie sandwich but got a brie roll. They took my food away to make a sandwich anyway. This took a very long time and my husband had already finished eating before my sandwich arrived. My son ordered the children's dish sandwich with jam. This was a slice of bread with two portions of jam for €5.5. We asked for a sandwich with it because my toddler normally eats 3 sandwiches. When paying we had to pay 2x5.5 for two slices of bread. Outrageous, my richly topped sandwich with two identical slices of bread cost €8.50 (nothing to say about it). But €11 for two plain white sandwiches with ready-made jam is out of proportion. The man at the checkout was extremely irritated that I said something about this and eventually removed a sandwich from the bill. I still think €5.50 for two sandwiches with a cup of jam is expensive, but oh well... all in all, it was a shame for the nice experience at the mill and the other dishes tasted fine.

A large selection of excellent baked goods of all kinds. A pleasant atmosphere in the bakery and guest area. The prices are fair for the quality offered. The breakfast is highly recommended. Also suitable for German guests, as the friendly staff speaks English, and some even speak German.

Beautiful location with ample seating inside and outside. Delicious menu choices and friendly staff. Recommended!

Carpaccio was frozen, tasted good but I think this is a disgrace

We were here on Sat. 17 May. Nice combination of bakery and terrace. We ordered a special sausage roll, which also included some salad, 2 coffees and a piece of apple cake. First came the sausage, without cutlery. Asked to bring cutlery as well. A few minutes later came the coffee with the cake but unfortunately still without cutlery for the sausage, and 1 coffee was spilled over the edge and that was taken back inside. Always a dilemma whether one person starts while the other still has to wait. Glad I started otherwise my part would have been cold when the other part arrived. When the new coffee arrived there was still no cutlery, my sausage was finished by now, she asked, do you still want cutlery? You understand, I am not going to eat the salad with my hands. The cake and the sausage were tasty but the service really needs guidance and/or training. On the terrace a man sat for minutes with an empty glass in the air hoping to be seen by passing staff while it really wasn't that busy. On our way to the cash register we asked an employee to help the gentleman. In short, with a few adjustments a great place.

We ate delicious ice cream that had a very creamy taste, a perfect ice cream. Highly recommended to go there for an ice cream.

Today, May 1, 2025 at 3:15 PM we found a table on the terrace. We waited a long time and it was not busy, there were 3 ladies serving on the terrace. After 20 minutes we asked if we could order something, oh yes we could, "I will send someone", said one of the ladies who was serving on the terrace. After waiting 10 minutes we got back in the car. Unfortunately a disappointment for us.

Nice atmosphere, very friendly service and good breakfast at a great price. What more could you want?

What a nice authentic address. To get to the dining area, you walk through the bakery. There is so much fun and delicious to see. Furnished with attention to detail. Delicious apple strudel eaten on a cold winter day. Nice service who later had a staff party. But this did not detract from the service. I think we will go back in the summer for the nice terrace.

Bad bakery, cake 16 people ordered for October 12, I got there at 9.30 no cake, they would still make it but not until 1.00 am but pick it up in Oldebroek they would cut it into 16 pieces, there were 12 equal pieces, the other 4 were pieces about half the smaller sides of the cream cake had nothing on it. my idea is a tattered cake, never going there again

Bijzonder attente mensen staan voor iedereen klaar. Onze zoon is gek op molens en ondanks dat de molen dicht was, ging de medewerkster op zoek naar de molenaar om een rondleiding door de molen te regelen. Dit was erg leuk! Vervolgens geluncht met een heerlijke salade!

It is beautifully made, rustic and cozy...the service is very friendly and the food was great!

Nice to walk through/past the bakery to the restaurant area. In the meantime, you can smell all kinds of goodies that are in the oven or have just come out. Delicious. Enjoyed a delicious lunch.

You walk straight into the bakery where you can follow the kneading and baking process. Beautiful and tasty bread. You can also have breakfast and lunch there. Everything in an attractive and authentic building. Very worthwhile.

Prachtig pand, mooi ingericht met ook een bakkerij waar allerlei lekkers wordt verkocht. Leuke foto's aan de muur van eerdere generaties molenaars/bakkers. Een wrap besteld en een uitsmijter. Vriendelijk personeel, maar de kok was wel sneller dan dat onze glazen Sauvignon blanc werden gebracht en toen was het water nog vergeten.

Excellent bakery (from Schuld) with a cozy and large terrace (along a fairly busy road). Fine (lunch) menu with excellent quality products. Relaxed, pleasant service. Take the time to view (and taste!) all the products in the bakery. Private parking is also useful.

The breakfast was good. We had “Het Molenaars Ontbijt” and “Twee pannenkoeken”. The pancakes were ok, the bread and croissants for breakfast with Camembert and cooked ham were excellent. The staff was courteous, very friendly and nice. The ambience is fantastic. You eat in a converted windmill. The wings are currently undergoing restoration and are therefore not attached. In the back there is a beautiful bakery with a wide selection. The rolls are crispy, the croissants are not quite like those in France, but are much tastier than in Germany. It was very nice. I will come back.

Op zaterdag 18 mei met vier man gegeten bij De Bakkersmolen. Hadden gereserveerd maar dat was niet nodig, maar dit is wel aan te raden. Er was een tafel voor ons binnen gepreserveerd maar wilde graag buiten zitten en dit was geen enkel probleem. We hadden onder andere de tosti, broodje carpaccio en twee kroketten op brood. Deze waren heerlijk. Bediening is erg vriendelijk. Als je afrekent is het een aanrader om toch even langs de bakkerij te lopen om iets lekkers mee te nemen.

❌⛔️We had to wait 55 minutes for our order. It took a very long time before you had 2 simple sandwiches. Quality of the lettuce was really bad. Instead of white bread I get brown bread without any excuse, they just say that white bread has run out. Staff also very unfriendly. We will never come back here again

Very busy on this first beautiful summer day with "running" staff and good and tasty food. Don't forget to visit the store before you leave. That's also delicious.

Very special and nice place where delicious bread, cookies, etc. are sold. Staff knowledgeable and helpful but not pushy. A visit is recommended. I was invited so I don't know anything about the price of lunch. Bought some things in the store. Already eaten it at home Very tasty. Price and quality are in good balance.

Last summer, after returning from holiday, we had a delicious breakfast and enjoyed high tea with friends later in the season. Breakfast for 2 people is really more than enough! The bread is delicious here. The high tea was also very well taken care of! Delicious variety of savory and sweet dishes, we were regularly asked if there was still enough tea. In short, both are recommended! Then you almost automatically walk through the bakery, nice to see how everything is prepared and going home empty-handed is simply not possible 😂

Top Restaurant. Definitely worth going there. Also to visit the mill. And to see the old baker's crafts. And of course to see everything they make there. And also to eat there. (AND SO FORTH).

What a special place. You can buy bread, pastries, chocolate and ice cream (in season). Very cozy sitting in the conservatory or by the stove. You get a nice cup of coffee and the banana puff was the tastiest pastry I have eaten in a long time. Beautiful card with drinks, wine, beer or high tea arrangement. Also a nice location for a birthday. Recommended! December 2023. Been again. The pastries are great. Bread and stuffed gingerbread....finger lickin' good.

Very cosy! There was a Christmas market at the mill. And luckily we had the last table. Ate delicious sandwiches. And something to drink. Highly recommended. And when you walk outside you can take something tasty home from the bakery.

After years of enjoying coffee and cake at the location, I think the quality is decreasing and the pastries are smaller. Too bad because it is a very nice place.

Had a very nice evening, was here for a staff outing, very beautiful setting of the restaurant and shop, made chocolate letters in groups and received a nice explanation about chocolate and the like, highly recommended for a visit or workshop.

What a very nice place to settle down. Just saying more is actually a shame.....fun to discover further yourself.

Erg leuke locatie, oude molen welke nig steeds wordt gebruikt door de Bakker. Gezellige entourage en leuke plek om te lunchen. Correcte bediening en goed eten.

Super gezellig lekker bakkie koffie met appel cake

Ik ga hier niet meer eten. Ik bestelde een broodje brie, na een half uur werd er verteld dat er alleen genoeg brie was voor 1 broodje. Dat vond ik prima, maar toen kreeg ik een broodje brie en een broodje zalm. Ik gaf aan dat ik vegatarisch ben en geen zalm eet. Vervolgens kreeg ik een broodje met mozerella, zonder overleg. Ik gaf aan dat ik 1 broodje brie zou krijgen en dat ik geen mozerella had besteld. De ober reageerde heel geïrriteerd. En toen kreeg ik het broodje brie op het bord waar de zalm vanaf geschoven was. Mijn bord en broodje roken naar zalm.

Een hele leuke plek die we hebben bezocht na een bezoekje aan Elburg. We hebben er enkel wat rond gelopen en pepernoten gekocht. Deze waren heerlijk.

Spontaan een heerlijke brunchplank gegeten met een vriendin. Leuk personeel en leuke setting. Daarna in de bakkerij nog brood gekocht.

Gezellige plek voor een bak koffie of iets anders en iets er bij. Wel een drukke verkeersweg dichtbij. Of voor vele soorten brood. Vriendelijke bediening op het terras.

Vanmorgen twee pakketten opgehaald van to good to go. Mijn man had ze gereserveerd. Had mij schermfoto gestuurd met code enz . Toen ik ze vanmorgen ophaalde kreeg ik ze niet mee omdat ikzelf de code moest activeren op mijn eigen telefoon. Zit wat in natuurlijk, maar de manier waarop mevrouw dit zei kwam zeer kattig over . Mega onvriendelijke dame en zeer gestrest.

Kom er 1 keer in het jaar,maar het brood 🍞...wauwww ...zo jammer dat ik dat in mijn woonplaats niet kan kopen!

Geweldig assortiment brood en ander lekkers en heerlijke koffie. In combinatie met vriendelijk personeel en een comfortabel terras, is het helemaal top.

Uitsmijter de Bakkersmolen besteld. Erg goed belegd en vulde goed. Ook de Groentekroket geproeft die mijn vrouw heeft besteld. Ondanks dat het Über vegetarisch is het toch erg lekker.

Deze plaats mag je niet missen als je in Elburg of omgeving bent! De bakkerij heeft heerlijk brood en gebak. Het restaurant is super, heerlijk eten, goede koffie en een super sfeer!

Gute Bäckerei mit Service und leckeren Kuchen. Auch andere Getränke wie ein gutes kühles Bier kann man dort genießen

Ik vond dat het serviesgoed snel onder je neus weggehaald werd als je het leeg had. En men vroeg uit het niets of we de rekening wilden terwijl we nog een 2e bak koffie wilden drinken. Was niet echt gastvrij. Dit ben ik niet van ze gewend. Jammer

Sieht sehr nett aus habe dort einen Kaffee getrunken und habe mir danach alles genau angeschaut.Preis für den Kaffee normal Kuchen sieht gut in der Mühle wird auch noch einiges selbst hergestellt, anschauen lohnt sich

Fantastisch dit...de winkel bevat echt super heerlijke producten...zelf gemaakt en dat proef je ook...zeer smakelijk...en ze hebben echt veel...van ijs tot koek tot 🍞 tot gebak en nog veel meer. Alleen al leuk om doorheen te lopen...en buiten kan je ook nog lekker zitten en wat eten en drinken...leuk.

Op weg naar huis hier van een vroege lunch genoten. Aan de rand van Elburg gelegen. Een plank met brood, eieren, spek en zoetwaar. Leuk ingericht met restaurant maar ook een bakkerswinkel. Erg vriendelijk geholpen en ook vlot. Een aanrader.

Bakery Schuld originates from de town Oldebroek, (producing the local cake "klinkertjes") but has also a branch in Elburg, comprising of a historic windmill in working order and associated buildings, where a bakery, a bakery shop and a cafe are situated. A target for a very interesting visit. Ample free parking is offered around the complex. We visited to buy several packages of "klinkertjes", but when we were paying at the cashier's counter, a member of the staff, probably not in the "customer-comes-first" mode, put a heavy box on some of our purchases. We had to get fresh packages from the shop to replace the flattened cakes. Room for improvement in the customer service department.
