De Buurtjes in Andijk

Informing beforehand helps, we arrived simply and hungry. When we entered the "actual" restaurant 1619 we asked for a table, unfortunately this was not possible with 3 people. Apparently only menu was offered. We were kindly recommended to go to the “next room” to eat a burger. For us, the atmosphere that was conveyed there was like being on the sidelines, the bar was deserted, no extra service for this "compartment", a few guests were sipping on their drinks and our table gave an idea of ​​what the previous guests might have consumed. Who else should notice this? The very nice service lady who directed us to the Buurtjes room did not accompany us into it. The main focus of operations was obviously concentrated on the food menu in Restaurant 1619. So we continued our journey disappointedly and ate 900m further in the "Restaurant & Cafeteria 't S Kaffie". This means that I am unable to rate the cuisine of the menu and burger restaurant, which is a shame🤷🏻‍♂️

The burgers are decent, but the portion of fries is too small. The space is clearly an annex of restaurant 1619. The staff and kitchen are in the restaurant and occasionally wander into "De Buurtjes." The decor is sparse. It feels like a B-list location. The staff is friendly, and the chairs are comfortable.

Just had a nice beer and wine and a tasty snack, surprisingly loaded fries Mexican style

We had a wonderful meal. De Buurtjes is the smaller version of the successful restaurant 1619 in the Andijk marina. The view of the IJsselmeer is stunning.

Delicious food in a beautiful atmosphere. Just a good citizen.

After a long bike ride, we wanted a drink on the terrace. We sat down at a table for two that didn't have a "reserved" sign. According to the waitress, the table was reserved for a large group that would arrive shortly. We only wanted to order a drink and offered to sit somewhere else if the group arrived. However, that wasn't possible! So we left without a drink. Conclusion: not a welcoming restaurant.
