De Echte Bakker in Bussum Centrum

The filled cookies and warm sous-vibe rolls were delicious

I arrive here at 8 a.m.… expecting delicious fresh rolls. What I get: a rock-hard, tasteless cheese stick, and I thought I'd just have a pink donut. First of all, there was jam in that donut!! Personally, I find that absolutely disgusting! How am I supposed to smell jam?! Put that on a card! "Donut filled with Jam," and that donut was so tough, I think it had been there all week because it was practically soaked with wet sugar. Also, I wasn't fully awake yet, and the cheese roll came ice cold in a bag, so yes, I would have appreciated being asked, "Do you want it hot or cold?" I think that's really bad for a bakery. I might as well have gone to the supermarket.

Formerly Bakker Groen and they were great. Things have not improved with the takeover by Kwakman. Some prices have increased significantly and both the availability and quality of my favorite products are no longer what they used to be. Very unfortunate.

Jean and Louise are the best people who both know their trade well, so we always go to Bakker Groen
