I do not have enough kind words to say about this place. This was our first stop outside of Amsterdam. We were not aware that Visa and Mastercard were not accepted in most places outside of big cities. The gentleman at the cashier's desk gave us our food and told us not to worry about paying him when none of our credit cards worked. He even refused the $20 US bills we offered. We were hungry and incredibly thankful, but also felt awkward. We went to Lidl across the street, bought some groceries and got some cash. When we came back to pay for our meal, he still insisted that it was on him. I've made it a point to continue sharing the kindness he showed that day. The food was comforting and the prices were very reasonable (if we had paid). It has a both new, yet rustic ambiance with plenty of woodwork. Giant windows that light up the entire room. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. Food comes out quick and needless to say, service is the best I've ever had. Staff even came out to make sure we were doing ok and asked if the food was good - amazing! They even have a cute little kid sized door next to the adult door at the entrance. Definitely coming here again next time and bringing cash.

Foods really mediocre. Just go to lidl. It’s a safer bet

We come from Ede especially for the delicious fries, well baked, always hot food. Just soooo delicious. And cozy. Staff that at least smiles. Also important. Everything is delicious, and how it is served, great, keep up the good work 👍🏼💯💯😋😋😋

Today we ate delicious fries after a bike ride. Super cozy interior and friendly employees.

We were passing through and our navigation system indicated that we should drive past there. First of all... this place is especially great for kids. It was the first time I've seen a special door for children as an entrance... We each had fries with different sauces, and it was delicious... For dessert, we each had ice cream, which was also very tasty. Our conclusion: delicious, and a good place to go with the kids. Outside and inside...🤩☺️

Delicious fries, rendang or stew hmmmm...the croquettes are also great, especially the Vega and the cheese. always busy in the evening and therefore sometimes a bit messy but not that disturbing. Better during the day in terms of crowds. Friendly staff!

From the opening, delicious fresh fries and sour meat were nice and tender and juicy. Made it again today after a long time. What a deception. Too young people behind the counter, meat was a lot of dry stewed meat that you get from the wholesaler and was warmed up. The fries were made from potatoes but not crispy at all. Too bad it was so fun and good in the beginning.

One of the better "snack bars" in Almere. Beautiful building, large outdoor space even in winter, fries are good, snacks are snacks, the homemade varieties are tasty. 3☆ for the atmosphere, it remains a snack bar. Service is good, there should just be more/better places for your waste and deposit bottles and cans.

I really enjoyed the fries at the Frietboederij Almere, especially fries with stew or Rendang, an unforgettable taste. I'm a regular customer there.

We keep coming here, good prices, good food and nice and cosy. Kids love it and we too, in the winter months is less attractive since the kids can only spend the time inside but in the summer is wonderful for them to be outside and play in the tractor, with sand and lie in the hammocks.

The staff went chaos with the order, they mixed ours with someone else’s and we needed to wait for 45 minutes for two bakjes.

The tastiest burgers! And delicious fresh fries. Not all the staff are friendly, but the citizens make up for it. 4 stars for the atmosphere because the rear inner part is very cold. In the summer you can also sit outside

I've been here a number of times, but lately I've noticed that they seem to be walking a bit wrong. The fries, once their specialty, are now a bit limp and lack that special touch. As a result, the price does not feel completely balanced. I no longer feel like I really get my money's worth, and I go there less often. Last time I ordered a ball sandwich, but unfortunately the taste was lacking. Too bad, because if something isn't really tasty, it's better not to offer it. Overall the snack food is fine, but nothing special. However, the prices are on the high side: €3.20 for a loose Mexicano and almost €8 for a burger is high. That said, the burgers themselves are very good, and I'm still curious about their hot dog. A major drawback is the slow service, especially around lunchtime between 12 and 1 p.m. If I want to eat here during my 40 minute lunch break, I simply can't. It always takes at least 60 minutes before I'm gone again, and that's really too long for a snack bar. Especially considering the number of people in the kitchen, it should be possible much faster. That's why I usually skip this place for lunch, which is a shame. Despite these points, I still give 4 stars (although I was in doubt about 3) because, if you know what to order, you can eat quite well here. Yet they are no longer worth the five stars of the past.

Every Friday I pick up a large order for me and my colleagues. and every week I pay for cans of Coca-Cola that are not on the menu. I understand it happened once or twice. but the third week in a row is too much. Do you knowingly deceive people with orders? Or maybe the competition will make sure they don't cheat?

We don't often eat fries/fries, so when we do eat them it can be a party. We got our food here on the way home. And it was tasty. We'll get here from now on. Hopefully it stays as it is now. So maintain that quality!

Delicious fries, Burgundian croquette so delicious, Flemish mayonnaise.... mmmmm. And finally a cheese souffle that has not collapsed or has the cheese on one side! Baked so beautifully brown and delicious! 😃😃 So many times at other places you got a dented cheese soufflé. According to my husband, Frikandel is different than others and tastier. So this fries farm is definitely recommended! And now I have discovered the bami disc, how delicious it is! The vanilla milkshake is THE best!!!

Delicious fries and satay. Also sweet potato fries (not on the menu but available). Excellent milkshakes. Sufficient parking space. (Full? Then at Lidl). You can sit inside, outside under a shelter or in the garden. Nice playground for the kids. The four of us spent 50 euros on a lot of food and drinks👍. Note: Bring a cushion for the chairs!

We wanted fries from the fries farm. Unfortunately, the menu had disappeared and you had to access the menu using a QR code on the dated menu block. We scan the QR code in a very modern way. You will be asked for a password. We could not discover the password. You will probably have to request this at the counter. We did not appreciate this kind of hospitality and so we left. Then a FEBO automatic is more romantic! Last time we were pleased with the quality of what was offered, but then there was also a tangible menu. Perhaps the food is fantastic, but we as real catering people cannot appreciate this way of welcoming. It probably depends on our age, 60+. The name Frietboerderij is reminiscent of nostalgia, old-fashioned tasty and connecting through service. Unfortunately there is no connection. It's remarkable that you have to move digitally to get to your grandmother's era. Too bad because the concept seems excellent. Good food is also about hospitality!
