De Juffer in Wijk 21 Oude Haven

Visited De Juffer in Zaandam for a quick beer and ended up staying longer than planned. The bar had a cozy, inviting atmosphere with soft music and friendly staff who made me feel right at home. The beer was cold and well-served, and the setting was perfect for a quiet evening in town. It’s one of those places that captures the charm of a small Dutch city — simple, warm, and easy to enjoy.

I wish google maps give possibility of null start to offer for this place. The security on the door stoped us on the door at 23h30 and said that the bar is closed. But the bar is still open to 2h00. It's shame. the owner must do something for his property to save it for his customers.

Very busy when I first arrived because of the gnome evening that takes place twice a year. But very pleasant

Nice tent and nice staff.. Only I notice that the carbon dioxide adjustment of the tap is not correct. I have noticed several times that the beer has virtually no carbon dioxide.

Nice bar with a wide beer selection, good atmosphere and helpful staff. But the volume of the music could really be lowered a bit, after about 9 hours it is no longer possible to communicate with each other in a normal tone.

Beautiful brown pub on Dam Square, very suitable for a group drink. Snacks are arranged in collaboration with local bars. Nice staff.

Cozy bar in the centum of the area. Ussualy rather crowded but never lacking a great atmosphere. A standard beer will run you €2.50 which is exactly the same as all the other bars in this area. The music is done by a DJ and if you're looking for a place to dance you'll have a great time here.

If it is too busy elsewhere, this is a good alternative.
