A very nice place to eat with delicious dishes. The menu isn't extensive, but with such tasty products, it doesn't need to be. The staff is extremely friendly and you are served quickly. Gluten-free options are also no problem at all. The club sandwich is highly recommended; everything is taken care of with just that little extra attention to detail, both the food and the interior.

What a lovely place and, above all, what lovely people. Last week we were here for a toast with carpaccio and a spicy grilled cheese sandwich. The interior is atmospheric and pleasant; you feel very much at ease, and the surroundings are clean. You can tell that the staff enjoys their work and that the team takes care of each other and its guests. Our drinks were served quickly, and our food was fresh and flavorful. Definitely good value for money! I noticed how clean it was; even the artificial flowers on the ceiling were well-maintained and dust-free! Our 2 (former) neighbors across the street have created something wonderful with many tasty products, such as luxury sandwiches of your choice and soup, to take away or eat in the cozy "canteen." Delicious bread or pastries. Worth a try and a moment to enjoy. Keep an eye on how busy it is around lunchtime.

We come here every week and keep coming back. First of all, the food is delicious. We haven't yet come across a restaurant that can match this quality. The value for money is good. But above all, the atmosphere is very pleasant. The service is friendly and attentive. Nice music. The decor is beautiful, and they regularly change the decorations. Fresh, beautiful flowers. It is cozy and highly recommended.

And it's not on their menu, but I had the Surinamese chicken curry sandwich and WOW, what a delicious sandwich. And I will definitely come back there again. The Carpaccio salad was also nice and filling.

Despite the fact that the cola spilled all over my shirt because the waitstaff dropped it on me and only went to get a cloth to dab it dry, the spicy chicken sandwich should have been listed on the menu as a salty salty salty chicken sandwich, the trash can standing open and exposed on the counter, and all food items being handled with bare hands, the eatery did have a nice vibe. It's the nicest, most professional lunchroom in Zwijndrecht where you can also enjoy a delicious drink. You're treated like a guest here. The kitchen is excellent and the food is fresh. Koen and his staff are fantastic.

I ordered a brie sandwich and a tuna sandwich. They were out of whole-grain bread at 1 p.m., but the white rolls were also delicious, and at least they were filled on both sides, so there was no question of "what do I put on the other half?" Usually, a sandwich is filled on only one side. So we'll definitely be back!

Had a great meal at De Kantine on a Thursday evening (shopping evening). In addition to a nice choice on the menu, the service was very friendly and professional. The burger and satay were perfectly cooked, the fries deliciously warm, and the cold beer made it complete. We ended with a tasty coffee and tea, all for a very friendly price. Congratulations to the team, a hidden gem!

Received a tip from my colleague about the Katine. The three of us had reserved a high tea. When we made the reservation we already indicated that we were going for savory rather than sweet. How well this has been responded to. Food is spic and span. Worth repeating. I would also like to thank the hostess and host. What hospitality and how comfortable you feel here.

The place is in a shopping mall, so I guess it's mostly visited by local residents. There is no card in English, but there is very competent and friendly staff who help you choose. Still, two cards for tourists would be a good solution. The menu is dominated by sandwiches and toasts in various forms. A burger is a big dish with meat, bacon, fries and mayonnaise. The toast with hummus is very tasty, but the bread is too hard for me. The avocado and egg sandwich is a classic, but the poached egg should have a runny yolk. Even though the dishes were composed of ready-made ingredients, their taste was really good. The place itself is also nice and friendly. It's worth stopping by.

Had a delicious lunch today, this restaurant is highly recommended! Had a club sandwich. This is with fried eggs (which I think is crazy!), but if you don't like fried eggs, just ask for a fried egg. The pancakes are typical American, not too sweet, nice and fluffy and you can add syrup to taste. Coffee from a nice bean machine and the cup was preheated, so the coffee was served nice and hot. This is what you call service! The staff is very attentive. I brought 3 beers from a local brewery, and at that moment I should have asked if I could buy their own canteen beer. 5/5⭐👌🏼

Walked in just before the rush at 11am for a late breakfast/early lunch. Excellent coffee, tasty bouncer and delicious filet americain sandwich. It's not a big place, and it's always busy, but I now know why. Prices are a bit more expensive, but the quality and friendly service are worth it!

Wat ik alleen jammer vind is dat de tafels best dicht op elkaar staan. Maar voor de rest vriendelijke personeel. En eindelijk een dubbele espresso die heerlijk sterk was. Niet overal is de koffie heerlijk maar hier was het echt heerlijk! Dus ja, om even tussen het winkelen door een bakkie en hapje te doen, is dit zeker een leuk plekje om dat te doen!

Altijd lekker, gezellige gemoedelijke sfeer.

Hier eten/lunchen is best lekker, maar de bediening was op de dag dat wij hier lunchten (donderdag 15 juni 2023) ronduit kattig, ongeduldig en onvriendelijk. Dat is echt onder de maat, al is het druk in de zaak. Voor de forse bedragen die hier gevraagd worden voor een broodje etc., mag je op zijn minst een correcte bediening verwachten. Onvriendelijke bediening geeft een nare nasmaak, al zijn de broodjes meer dan goed te eten! We komen niet uit deze omgeving, maar sws niet meer hier terug.

Gewoon even een Koffie met Gebak... wat een kwaliteit echt geweldig..
