My wife and I enjoyed ourselves there, and my wife is treated with respect here too. Ruben is a good guy (the owner) and he even buys a round for me and MY WIFE! You definitely have to go to the terrace; there's always something tasty and it's super cozy! You can mainly order snacks here, which is really nice if you're still a bit hungry, and you'd better stay here until about 8 o'clock. Unless you really like disco or trance where you can barely hear each other anymore when you're standing inside.

Great café with a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. I love going to Café de Kluif in Purmerend. The staff is always friendly and makes you feel truly welcome. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed, just what you're looking for for a night out. The food is surprisingly good, and the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended if you're in the area!
