We had lunch at this place in Delft's main square. The minced meat balls, chips and beer are amazing.

Absolutely fantastic, we always come here when we are in Delft. Cosy terrace, nice surroundings, good food and drinks and friendly service. What more could you want?

We came from France for the first time in Delft. With my husband we shared a salmon sandwich and share a « bread and spread ». All was really delicious. The waitress was so kind and a good advisor. Thank you a lot for this enjoyable moment

Cozy Corner Find in Delft We stumbled upon De Liefhebber while searching for a spot for lunch with my two children. Most places were packed, but this charming restaurant had an opening. The unique design of the space led us to a cozy corner on a different level, creating a delightful and intimate atmosphere. The food was a hit. My kids, who are picky eaters, enjoyed their meals, which is always a major win! I had the salmon, which was cooked perfectly, and my other dishes were equally delicious. Despite the unexpected find, De Liefhebber proved to be a nice dining experience. The service was friendly, and the ambiance was truly special. Great place to have a nice lunch or just a drink. Employees are all very nice and hospitable, dishes are super freshly made and always high quality for an absolutely reasonable price compared to other places in Delft. It is one of our favorite places to sit on a terrace.

A true gem hidden plain in sight. De Liefhebber is a haven of good food for good value among the tourist traps on the Markt. As a long time resident here, a block away from De Liefhebber I highly recommend it. They have the usual beer snacks as well as hearty seasonal soups, the goulash is a personal favorite of mine. Apart from an extensive beer menu, they also have a quite decent wine menu rivaling many "restaurants" out there on the Markt. Not to mention that it's cheaper as well. They also serve some rare to find, aged jenever, make sure you asked for the "good stuff" the off menu jenevers. The atmosphere is cozy, and being one of the oldest places in Delft you can trust that it's one of our city's treasures. If not, you can ask the regulars. Alex and Mo, are the kindest neighbors one could have, the service is fast, and they're super helpful.

Een hele fijne plek in hartje centrum van Delft! perfecte lunchkaart (en eten), heerlijke bieren en wijnen! personeel is erg gezellig en service gericht!

Op het overdekte terras de lunch gebruikt met uitzicht op het fraaie stadhuis en de Markt van Delft. We moesten een half uurtje wachten tot onze bestelling kwam maar het was het wachten waard. Heerlijke saté met aardappeltjes en een mooi opgemaakt garnituur. Prima prijskwaliteit verhouding en vriendelijke bediening.

Es gab nettes Personal und das Essen hat auch sehr gut geschmeckt.

Het is dat het lekker weer was, maar lang moeten wachten op de broodjes. Ook werd het eten geserveerd door iemand met uitslag op de handen, dit gaf een niet zo prettig idee bij het eten. Misschien een tip, handschoenen dragen bij het serveren. Ook waren we 20 min. aan het wachten op drinken wat we uiteindelijk niet meer kregen. Verder was het prima.

Great place. This was one among 3 restaurants open on 1st Jan in the area. Tried their goulash, chicken soup and chilli chicken. The soups were awesome. Chilli chicken was okay. Portions are huge. Definitely value for money. The service is great. Staff is friendly and nice. Grt location, they are located at Delft centrum. Ambiance is also good.

Vanmiddag bij de liefhebber belandt na een koude middag door de binnenstad én......ik heb eindelijk eens die goeie, hete , heerlijke pannenkoek gegeten die in de wijde omtrek van Delft niet te vinden was maar waar je een kleffe, lauwe hap kreeg! Patrick had een overheerlijke boeren omelet. Dat alles met cappuccino en een thee voor nog nette bedragen. Vriendelijke bediening. Wij komen gauw weer terug!!

We were on a full day excursion from Amsterdam. We did not have much time here, but really enjoyed the town. My husband was hungry, so we stopped in. He really enjoyed the huge burger and the fries were hot and very tasty. He had a beer from the tap and I had a cocktail.

Heerlijk plekje voor een lekker biertje. Personeel is vriendelijk en service is goed! Opmerkelijk en fijn is dat de wc erg schoon wordt gehouden.

This was such a little surprising find. It’s frequented by locals the prices are much less than other places in the Square and the service was just fantastic. When I got my bill I couldn’t believe the price. And everyone was friendly

A really friendly staff, the Irish stew was so flavourful and good value for the money. The beer selection was exquisite was well. We will definitely come back.
