I always eat at another Valentino's location, and it's always good there. I thought I'd give this one a try. I got two frikandel rolls, and they were inedible. The frikandel was very dry, and I got sick that evening. Otherwise, it's a nice store with friendly people working there, but for truly good and tasty Valentino's, you're better off going to the one on Lelylaan.

Deeply disappointed – a waste of money and your health My girlfriend and I got two paninis from Valentino Sloterdijk, and we both got really sick. The sandwiches were rock hard, the chicken tough, dry, and clearly not fresh. It felt like everything had been sitting there for hours (or days?). For two sandwiches totaling €15, you expect at least something edible – this was a complete waste of money. We feel deeply disappointed and, above all, miserable. Save yourself the disappointment, your wallet, and your health. We'll never be back!

Disgusting – got sick from tough, old stuff I got two paninis from Valentino Sloterdijk and the result? I got really sick, both of them. The buns were rock hard, the chicken tough, dry, and just plain old. There was absolutely nothing fresh about them – more like yesterday's leftovers or worse. For €15, you don't expect a culinary masterpiece, but you do expect something you can eat without feeling sick. What a disgrace. This isn't lunch; this is a health risk. Save yourself the misery and the money. We'll never be back.

The atmosphere was really nice and different. It takes you back to the 80’s. I really loved the vintage touch to it. The food was good quality too. The pasta was tasty and the rest as well. The only down part is the fact that you can’t order tap water. They tried to sell you us bottled water only. We told the waiter that she couldn’t refuse us tap water. In France it’s not allowed to deny tap water in restaurants. Anyways, apart from that, the service was good. Bravo

Sloterkade 1aWe always enjoyed coming to Oslo. From today on, we'll never go back for dinner. It's Wednesday, and along with two other tables, we were the only ones there from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The service was pleasant and attentive, and we had a pleasant evening, but the snacks and dinner were a bit of a letdown. The appetizers (12 pieces at €15.00 each) were lukewarm and limp. The appetizer was forgotten (and we canceled it), and the bavette dish was downright awful. My table companion reluctantly gnawed through his overcooked bavette—ordered "medium-rare." I sent back my main course, ordered "medium." The meat was utterly tough and tasteless. Ten minutes later, the dish was served slightly better, but still tough and lacking in flavor. The fried potatoes were limp and lukewarm, and the grilled vegetables were probably overcooked. Along with a few beers, wine, and some coffee, we paid €150.00 (!) But it was still a fun time!

Jan van Galenstraat 147The service was terrible. Three of us arrived and nobody greeted us after waiting 10 minutes in front of the door. Then it took a while to get our order, and we had to ask repeatedly for some stuff that they forgot to bring. At the end, we wanted to order dessert, but they told us the kitchen was closed, even though we were sitting upstairs and nobody had come to check on us after finishing or main course, so we had to no clue about their closing times. Overall, the prices that they charge for are too high and don’t justify this sloppy service offered.
