Unsanitary!!! The place where they make the food is so filthy. I wouldn't even look. I don't even want to know how they handle food behind closed doors. I feel sick just thinking about it.

I'm not someone who complains easily, but please be careful what you eat here. I ordered 3 delicious sandwiches, and they arrived home after a 4-minute bike ride. The fish smelled awful, not fresh fish. The smell and taste were very bad. What used to be a great place has unfortunately deteriorated. I won't be back any time soon. (Very unfortunate). I called the place, and they were able to get new ones (unfortunately, they lost our trust). I'd rather pay a few euros more than suffer histamine poisoning.

What a shame. The fishmonger's shop at Flora in the Colmschate shopping center. I won't be going there anymore. Dirty, no... rancid and sticky floors, filthy display cases, filthy restroom, messy tables. What happened here? I'll be getting my fish from Rog from now on. This is absolutely unacceptable. I think it's time for the NVWA (Netherlands Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority) to investigate before people start suffering from unsafe situations and food poisoning. It's utterly scandalous. Shame on you all.

Today I got 6 herrings and a salmon wrap from you for the first time, for around €22. The herring was hard and almost dry, and the salmon wrap had a few pieces of salmon in what looked like chewing gum. This is also the last time I'll buy anything from this place. And I also agree with the points I mentioned earlier about the hygiene in the shop; it's practically non-existent!

Waited half an hour for a portion of cod. Disappointing quality. More batter than cod. The place is also dirty. Unfortunately, not a good experience.

A rather uninviting place that sells you 300 grams of floury, dry kibbeling for almost 10 euros. Never experienced such poor value for money. And then you have to order that disgusting stuff through a screen like you find in your average fast-food chain—impersonal, and much slower to navigate the menus and options than simply place your order verbally. The staff isn't customer-focused at all, so you're at the mercy of the screen. In short, a terrible experience all around. If anyone has a tip on where I can get decent kibbeling around here, I'd love to hear it.

Too bad, too bad we ate at your place this afternoon. Upon entering, the place looked filthy, a dirty table all over, full garbage bins, but we only ordered a soft drink. What we wanted was no longer there, we said again that it was in the fridge, that's what we got, ok anyway, but ordered two kibbeling menus, another disappointment, cold kibbeling. I think they had fried New Year's Eve and New Year's Eve together. Too bad, as a solution, they took the kibbeling off the plate and gave me the plate back with the fries so I could continue eating that plate. What I got was warm, the pieces of it were eaten in my fries and where my new kibbeling was, luckily it was further on and we left ourselves, very disappointing and that for more than 0.35 euros, it was certainly not busy at that time.

Used to be a great place, but now with a new owner (I think) it's very disappointing. The woman behind the counter is alone. Because of that, you can no longer be customer-friendly, serve multiple people, or keep the place clean. It's really stressful and incredibly dirty.

I was truly touched by this case. The employee was rude and passed on her own stress to the customers. She loudly complained about having to work alone and expected us to understand. After a long wait, I was treated rudely and received my order (kibbeling) in a messy pile: a thick lump of fish, partially broken apart, and poorly presented. What shocked me even more was the hygiene. You can literally see the trash can directly under the fish preparation area, to the left of the counter. The floor was dirty and covered in debris. Moreover, the way she prepared the fish looked as if she didn't care: sloppy, careless, and completely unprofessional. She also wore her glove halfway around her hand, touched other things in between, and then continued eating as if it was nothing. This is not only unhygienic but also downright dangerous. My time and money were wasted here. The service, customer service, and especially the hygiene are far below par. I will never return and advise others to think carefully before ordering anything from here.

A very filthy place, a mountain of trash on the counter. Under this mountain, an employee pulled out the "clean" wrappers that came with the salmon. The sauce (in a bucket) that's served is also just sitting there in the trash. Dirty napkins are strewn in the display case among the salmon. The floor and tables are filthy. There's absolutely no hygiene here. Orders aren't being processed properly. We waited over half an hour. Chaos! The NVWA (Dutch Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority) should come and inspect this soon.

We ordered the kibbeling menu twice, but it was inedible, way too salty, the fries were cold, the salad was just from a can, and the tables and floor were very dirty. I think they've changed owners because it was always excellent before and the food was good. We'll definitely never come back.

I was the only one in the shop. The kibbeling here isn't what it used to be. Most of them are too hard and burnt. I'll just get it elsewhere from now on.

Can't say anything about the food, it was good. But the floor, trash can, and setup are all very dirty. I hear and see it in the reviews too. I hope the owner does something about this.

This place has deteriorated rapidly, incredibly dirty inside. Filthy deep fryers and a disgusting wall behind them. The fried fish (kibbeling) isn't freshly fried right in front of you either; it was already in the bag.

I used to go there every Friday around lunchtime. But for the past few weeks, it's been so busy that I give up after waiting more than half an hour once. I was even told they wouldn't take my order because it's too busy! Such a shame. This place is suffering from its own success. For a few weeks now, they've had a digital ordering system instead of more than two staff members. As if that's going to solve the problem. They were also down last week. A bit of a strange policy, if you ask me. The staff must be getting stressed out too. But I'll eat something else on Fridays! 👍

It's just that I can't give -5 stars! Upon entering, I was already doubting whether we should eat there... it's extremely filthy inside. The display cases are dirty, the floors are slippery under your shoes, and the toilet is too filthy to use. I ordered kibbeling: cod fillet, almost €10 per container! That wouldn't have been a problem if you'd gotten quality. The fish was fried together in a big lump with thick batter... and the aftertaste/smell through your nose and mouth was ammonia. I've never had such disgusting kibbeling in my life. Upon closer inspection, the ammonia smell and taste indicated spoilage. Disgraceful, this place should be closed!

This fishmonger gets 0 stars from me. I wouldn't buy fish here again! The herring wasn't from the same day! The color of the herring wasn't a nice pink inside, but very pale, and it tasted awful... I threw it away immediately. The container looked unkempt, not tidy, and very greasy... No more fish for me here.

I used to go here for delicious kibbeling and eel for my mother. It was always great in the past, but I haven't been for a while due to circumstances, but I think the new owner is on the mend. The kibbeling had huge chunks where the fish wasn't quite cooked through. The seasoning was salty, but it wasn't tasty anymore, and it was very greasy. The first time I went, I thought, "Okay, it happens," but unfortunately, I had to get kibbeling again last week. I don't even dare get eel; it's expensive. It doesn't matter, but if it's not good, well, they won't see me again!

So many staff changes mean that quality is constantly changing. Products aren't always fresh.

What a lazy staff! Almost all tables were still dirty with the dirty dishes still on the table. It was not busy. Ordered Kibbeling, taste was reasonable, but huge pieces of fish, not tasty to eat.

Man man man what a bad business .... If you like cold fish then this is the place to be. ... staff slower than a snail and uninterested ... you can better fish yourself and those tanks go faster ... here you should definitely make 2 hours free to get a kibbeling

Picked up the kibbeling, unfortunately it was cold and tough. By the way, large portion, almost 10 euros, so a waste.

It used to be good there when the old man was still working, but recently. Ordered cod menu large and tuna wrap and fries drinking latte and tea. Got food brought cod had become kibbelingen no fries nothing with what belongs on the menu no coffee but tea. walked there a whole discussion with each other behind the cash register said sit down I will bring it in a moment. Well only fries were brought no cod the latte was just coffee I said had latte but machine was not good so then I could only have coke. And I don't know how they made it but when I got home suddenly had to shit. If you eat at a chip shop I don't have that.

Great fish. Otherwise an atmosphereless and shoddy affair. Staff just does whatever, mainly making a lot of noise.

A fishing shop without herring. Bad thing

The food was downright bad. Fish fried too hard. Bowl of brown-colored crape crust. Potato slices, many but limply fried. Too high a price.

A bit unpleasant and bare interior, but it's all about the fish and it is exceptionally good! Why? Take something fried, you can't taste the fat and many fishmongers could learn something from that! Kudos! Edit 24-12-2019: Extremely friendly and professional help when I went to buy cod. Edit 02-12-2022: When it's busy; come back another time. Service loses the overview and there are a lot of 'sorry' sounds, but then again, it is not a professional restaurant. Edit March 2025: waiting times are sometimes very long or you are accidentally “forgotten”…. Fortunately the fish is still good.

I don't leave a review anytime soon, but I just had a really bad herring, had a few bites and left the rest, sincerely hoping not to get sick! The onions were old too! They were yellowish slimy. I reported it to the employee but was only told I will report it. Since all the bad comments can be read here, nothing is done about it.

After paying, not even a cup of bickering after 45 minutes. Asked twice where it was. There is a team that doesn't even realize what they are doing. This was the second time I was there, the first time it was just not nice, the second time the treatment was downright scandalous. Don't go!.

The lady behind the counter / cash register was very unfriendly and snapped at everyone. She didn't look at us and I received a snarky and short answer to my question. The food was decent.

It was a good fish shop that we liked to visit every week. Very dissatisfied twice now. First dirty salad at Christmas (without stated shelf life date) shrimps were sour, and the mackerel salad was full of bones, with hardly any taste. After calling I was allowed to pick up new ones for free. which only worked after coming by 3 times because it was always not there. Now today I gave it another chance and settled down. These were very thin slices, making it very stiff in your mouth and actually unedible. It's a shame for our beautiful square that you can't go here for a nice piece of fish. If they continue like this and do not become customer-friendly, I see a bleak outlook for these owners.

What a horrible staff that older lady, I didn't feel comfortable with my family at all. She really looks at you like what are you looking for here (while we were the only customers at the time) and answers very curtly or irritatingly and spends the whole time on her phone. They went to clean the floors with very strong smell inside. If it is indicated that it is very strong, she acts as if we are lying. This is really not possible during opening hours with strong air inside while eating. I asked if they could open the door to air it out and they also thought about it for a long time! Never again, really, you will be ridiculed with your own money too

Order a large portion of kibbeling, and a large portion of fish fries, the kibbeling was literally 1 large piece soaked in fat, and the fish fries were all broken off small pieces with no fish left in them. How dare you serve something like that, I wouldn't give it to my dog, but I did pay €22.

The staff has become so rude here. Sour faces that treat you unfriendly. Also having a hard time getting a water bottle, I would have had the opportunity to order again. A shame, because we really enjoyed coming there.

Very nice and spontaneous staff! The homemade sauce here is the tastiest garlic sauce ever! If this ever came into stores it would sell well. Love coming here

After eating here for years, I'm coming to this place. Quality of the fish. It's very bad. What wasn't the case before was a real shame. Service and employees are top notch.

Had a gourmand today and it was delicious as usual, crispy on the outside and nice and airy. Delicious! What I think is a shame is that the staff picked up the raw salmon with gloves to weigh it and then picked up the fries and the tasty treats with the same gloves. Not very hygienic! Tip: use pliers.

There was an advertisement outside with meals, ideal if you don't feel like cooking. But since the cashier was more concerned with constantly wiping her nose with her hand, I just bought a packed meal. Immediately rinsed the box at home. A little later I saw her also use that hand while cutting a herring, tasty but not really. Sadly, I will never go here again. Shame. The next day friends also went to the toilet and yes, a cold... And thanks!

Fish was tasty, not excellent but fine. Staff are allowed to attend catering training once in a while, which is incredibly mediocre. Waited 40 minutes for a bowl of bickering, then asked how long it would take, and was told back that it would take another 3 minutes (it ended up being 12 minutes). All in all, never again 👎

Rude employees, especially the male ones, they give orders to the wrong people. I was also offered herring even though I had ordered kibbeling. I literally got 6 pieces of kibbeling, 2 of which had real meat in them. The remaining ones were LITERALLY just FLOUR! Other customers sitting next to me also saw it. See picture. I had to pay €6 for this I don't recommend this fish hall at all, 6€ wasted and unfriendly staff. You guys don't deserve a single star or rating on this

Heerlijke vis en erg netjes daar met vriendelijk personeel.

Goede kwaliteit van de (vis) gerechten. De zoute haring kon beter schoongemaakt( zaten nogal wat harde graten in). De jonge man achter de vitrine deed erg zn best, maar had het eigenlijk te druk. Wel werd meerdere keren gevraagd of we er nog drinken , koffie oid bij wilden..bij de vis? Boter bij de vis. Wat raar is, is dat er geen (prijs) kaartjes bij de meeneemvisgerechten stonden..weet je én niet waaruit je kunt kiezen en wat het kost per eenheid. Verder zien winkel/resto er goed uit.

Kibbeling gegeten. Zat weinig smaak aan. Haring met ui en bosui. Geen zuur. Ik vind het geen aanrader en kom hier niet meer terug.

Prima viswinkel. Goed belegde broodjes. Prijs/kwaliteit verhouding is top! Ik ga hier terugkomen!

Lekkere vis en vriendelijke bediening

Gebruiken aleen veel plastic. Als je daar aan tafel eet

Haring kan je hier beter links laten liggen, die komt met schalen tegelijk ergens anders vandaan. En als je klaagt dan mag je een nieuwe komen halen die ze wel ter plekke schoonmaken. De rest is op zich goed maar ook niet echt bijzonder. Jammer want toen de zaak open ging was de kwaliteit stukken beter. Misschien heeft Corona die vlak na de opening voor sluiting zorgde meegespeeld.

Wederom heerlijk gegeten, kwaliteit is erg goed de prijs is dan ook erg fors 5euries voor een normale lekkerbek is wel heel veel geld.....is echt luxe geworden een visje
