Always a warm welcome We always get our Indian food here. Every time we arrive, we're warmly greeted by the owners, who are always there themselves. The menu and decor have changed a bit recently, but the taste is still exactly what we're used to: authentic, lovingly prepared, and deliciously spicy. Highly recommended for those who love authentic Indian food with a personal touch.

If you want to die with oil n salt, order it from here. Pathetic food quality. Never select this restaurant on uber eats if you don’t want to waste your money.

Delicious chicken tikka massala. Lovely owners, highly recommended

We used to be a big fan, but today we were disappointed. Hardly any meat in the dishes and the usual dishes like saag paneer tasted so different. The chicken tika massala was super spicy.

I have been given food with 80 percent sauce, 20 percent food and dry naan. I called the restaurant and the gentleman was not polite at all and ended up ignoring me. In short, very bad food, very dirty and unfriendly staff.

Do not even have chole bhature on the menu. Avoid at all costs

The food was good and plentiful, the service okay. Not very comfortable, but perfectly fine for grabbing something to eat after checking in at the hotel opposite

I'm regular customer of this restaurant and I never had anything to complain about.Unfortunately lately the quality of food is going down. I love butter chicken but since few months it taste more like spicy tomato soup with just few pieces of chicken in. I gave a call to the store and asked if they have a new chef...the answer was yes so it's explain everything. Maybe it's time to get back the old chef. He was the best!!!!

One of the worst food experience I had with Delhi Indian. Biryani was sweet in taste and 2 curries were the worst curries I tasted till date. Sadly, we couldn't eat the food after few bites

Great staff and really good flavors.

Placed an order online for butter chicken and chicken tikka massala on their own website. When ordering, I added a comment not to make it spicy, the children would also like to eat it (butter chicken). The dishes were both very spicy, too much even for me. Much spicier than last time. Called to ask if something had gone wrong (maybe a misunderstanding). I was told that the comment about 'not spicy' was nowhere to be read on the order. An apology was offered, but no solution. Better luck next time, they said. There will be no next time for me.

Same like other 1 star reviews: delivery time is awful. After 1,5 hour we called, they still had no idea how long it would take. Because we had visitors & kids that had to go to bed, we picked it up ourselves. Also, where was the chicken in Butter chicken???

Het restaurantje zelf ligt gezellig aan de Amsterdamse weg. Altijd plek. Eten is heerlijk . Aardige bedienig.Er is bij mooi weer ook een terras.

The owner was very nice and friendly. We got the Chicken Curry and it was excellent. The portions are quite big, but not too much. I definitely recommend it. ____________ Der Inhaber war sehr nett und das Chicken Curry sehr lecker! Die Portionen sind groß und für den Preis gerechtfertigt. Ich kann es weiterempfehlen!

We got samosa's, vegetables kurma with tandoori roti and bhaingan bhartha with rice. The samosa's were good, however we did not really like the brown flavored chutney, a bit too tangy. The bhaingan bhartha was good. The kurma was ok, but not like an authentic kurma, it was way too sweet and we didn't enjoy the raisins in it. Overall the food was ok, but not my favorite.

Erg vriendelijke eigenaar, eten bijzonder lekker en pittig is pittig. Tip om via eigenaar zelf te bestellen.

This is one of the best restaurant in amsterdam so far I have tasted. Food will be very tasty and value for money.

Tonite ordered for the first time from this restaurant. Delivery was on time and service friendly. Ordered Chicken Tandoor and Garlic naan. Portions very generous and overall tasty. However Chichken Tandoor looked like was not prepared in a tandoor oven. More in regular oven. Accompaniments were ok..Alloo Matter was a bit watery

Heerlijk. Voor ongeveer 35 euro besteld voor 2 personen, meer dan genoeg we hebben gewoon nog voor 1 persoon aan eten over. Aanrader om allemaal verschillende hapjes te bestellen!

We ordered the dishes we recommended below. It was amazing, all the dishes were piping hot and very tasty. The potions were ample with left overs. The owner was very helpful. We only waited for a short while. They provide take away in Amsterdam. We cam from outside Amsterdam. The food was well wrapped and did not spill in the car. One of the best Indian authentic food we have eaten in a long time. As it was lockdown, there was no restaurant service. It is a simple place, with a few tables and chairs. The menu is in English and Dutch. Definitely recommend this place for ‘take away’ during the Caronavirus lockdown.

Goed authentiek Indiaase gerechten. Vriendelijke service. We hadden een catering voor 19 personen. IPV de standaard plastic bakjes handige metalen bakken die op rechaud kunnen staan. Aanrader!

Mijn lievelings Indian in Amsterdam!

I ordered the butter chicken and Peshawar Naan. Originally I thought I was not going to be able to afford to eat here regularly because the prices were so high. But then I got the food (to go). It was delicious and there was so much of it! I got three tasty meals out of it, which made the price a bargain. I’m not saying it’s gourmet Indian, but there is really nothing wrong with it, and everything right about the price.

Food is ok but service bad.M the only customer and I waited for 30 minutes to get my food ready.Typical indian slow motion style.

Gisteren voor het eerst gegeten. Het is meer een eetcafe dan een restaurant dus goed voor een 'snelle' informele hap. Zeer grote porties voor niet al teveel geld. En ontzettend lekker !! Aanrader
