Nice location. Very extensive library. Downside; many tables are used as offices or meeting places, including extensive video chats. Where people do not take the environment into account at all. Slight haughtiness is not uncommon. Newspapers and magazines very extensive. Why is the music newspaper OOR missing? Greetings, Kees

It is not without reason that it is in the top 10 most beautiful libraries in the world.

It was pleasant to work and the Wereldwinkel was also very worthwhile.

Beautiful repurposing of the church

Years ago I saw two white pigeons breeding to the left of this church. The nest had been carefully constructed and was not visible to the eyes of 'curious Aagjes'. Luckily I saw them and decided to take a photo and then leave them alone asap. And that was the best decision ever! Oh yes, in my (trip) view, DePetrus is a nice place to be! With or without laptop. ❤️

Beautiful place to study with a nice interior. There are electrical sockets, you can go to the toilet and also order something to drink/food in the reading cafe and adjacent restaurant. And within walking distance you can reach the supermarket or HEMA. Ideal! It can be noisy when children are playing or when there are groups of students, but that's the only downside. A secluded study space like in Huis73 Den Bosch would make it perfect! A small tip that I did notice is that the reading cafe is not cleaned up very well with regard to waste and so on. But maybe that's just a coincidence this week. Furthermore, I think sending away people who don't read a newspaper at the reading table when it is almost empty is a bit excessive, but luckily most staff members don't do that.

Misschien wel de mooiste bibliotheek van Nederland. In een vroegere kerk is nu een multifunctioneel cultuurhuis gemaakt met een bibliotheek, goede werkplekken, biljarttafels, tentoonstellingen, een eetcafé en een Wereldwinkel.

Fantastisch eerst bij walk & talk later in jullie coffee corner..mooie mensen ontmoet..

Great and unique idea! Beautiful library inside of church is the way, how to better use this holly interior. Way to God leads through knowledge. :-)

Stoppen met roken cursus geweldig goed

Gefeliciteerd Vught :) Wat een prachtpand en gebruiksdoelen hebben jullie gerealiseerd met De Petrus. Een geweldig bieb, maar ook nog een wereldwinkel, klein museum en koffiecafé. Heel fijn dat dit openbaar toegankelijk is om van te genieten.

Mooi dat deze kerk in deze vorm het bestaansrecht heeft behouden en mooi hoe het een multifunctionele ruimte geworden is. Vrijwilliger kwam enthousiast vertellen over het waarom en hoe het nu is, dat maakt dat je het nog meer waardeert.

Beautiful library with a cozy coffee corner, a few billiard and a store to buy artistic items. The place is full of historical information from WW2. There is a parking in the front door and some nice places to eat in the area as well.

Mooi cultureel gebouw ,vanalles te zien ,leuk om te zien hoe ze een kerk behouden en toch functioneel hebben gemaakt

We kwamen hier per toeval terecht op een maandagochtend. Wat een bijzondere bestemming heeft deze voormalige kerk gekregen. Moderne tijd met behoud van oorspronkelijke elementen. Een multifunctionele bezetting met een bibliotheek, een wereldwinkel, een stukje museum en geschiedenis van carnaval in Vught, een leeshoek, koffieplek, biljart, kantoren. Allemaal smaakvol en efficiënt gecombineerd. Het was er al aardig druk wat inhoudt dat de lokale bevolking deze plek goed weet te waarderen. De boeken stellingen kunnen via rails verplaatst worden naar de zijkanten, zodat er ook ruimte kan worden gemaakt voor een concert. Hoe we dat weten? Bij de ingang werden we opgevangen door een super enthousiaste gastvrouw. Een van de vele vrijwilligers die dit mogelijk maakt.

Hele mooie bibliotheek, alleen doordat er elke dag groepen ouderen en kinderen komen voor activiteiten kun je tegenwoordig ook door de week meestal niet rustig studeren hier. Het helpt dan ook niet dat het allemaal lekker door galmt. Hele leuke plek dus, maar niet als je rust zoekt om te studeren helaas.

Bibliotheek, wereldwinkel, leescafé, allemaal mooie zaken voor Vught!

Fantastische wat ze met deze oude KERK voorelkaar hebben gekregen. 1 grote bieb. 2 Vughts museum. 3 Wereld winkel 4 V.V.V. 5 kantoren o.a.ouderen samen etc.

Prachtige gemaakt dit voorbeeld zouden meerdere gemeenten moeten volgen met zo'n historisch pand

Fantastische multifunctionele herbestemming in mooi gerestaureerde kerk midden in Vught. Ze hebben ook lekkere appeltaart. Bibliotheek, wereldwinkel, biljart, werkplekken, aangrenzend grand café, etc. Mooi hoor!

Hele mooie kerk. Het is nu een bibliotheek. Maar je mag overal een kijkje nemen. Veel spullen uit de oorlog tijd.
