Django's Pizza & Bar in Rozenknopje

An excellent Pizza spot in the whole of the Netherlands, not just in Eindhoven. Anyone looking for a high quality pizza, pizzas unusual to most Dutch menus, or quick service will leave with a smile. The pizza is delicious. The service is professional. The ingredients were of a high quality.

We'd been excited about a new pizzeria in town since it opened, and we wanted to try it for the first time. On a hot summer evening, we ordered our drinks and pizzas. The pizzas were a disappointment. The dough was bone dry after baking, the toppings weren't generous enough, the flavor was subpar, and it had lost its warmth by the time it arrived. The pizza dough may have been left out too long and lost its moisture, as evidenced by the baking errors and black bubbles around the edges. The restaurant must have been aware of this, as they didn't even ask if we were happy with the food. I only gave this place six months to live on this journey with its quality. The food in this country may not be amazing, but I've never had anything this bad. In conclusion, you can come here for the drinks, not the food.

What pizzas! The best I've had in a long time. This is how pizza should be! The location is right in the city center, so it's a bit busier, but thankfully that doesn't affect the taste. Highly recommended!

Great place. Pizzas are served by color and, you have to ask for it, but you can also order 2 half pizzas (of the same color). For all doubters :)

Lovely relaxed place and perfect with kids! We love coming here! The atmosphere is super casual and relaxed, exactly what you are looking for for a nice evening out. The staff is friendly and pleasant. You can dine extensively or just quickly grab a bite, ideal if you are with children. The pizzas are fantastically thin, crispy and full of flavour. The side dishes are absolutely recommended: fresh, original and perfectly seasoned.

Really good pizzas where everything is right; Good dough, quality toppings, not too little. The classics are right, the creative dishes (like the one with figs and honey 👌) too. Friendly and fast service even when the whole place was full. Every table exuded a good cozy atmosphere. Recommended 👏

Pretty good thin pizzas. But the place is very loud and small

I was in this place last night, which was Thursday. I tried to book by phone but when I used two phones, the answering machine was there. The fact that the place also does takeaway but has an answering machine during opening hours, even during the week, already made me suspicious. So I decided to go there spontaneously. The place is very small, there was no room inside: there were two of us and we sat outside, but only because the season allowed it. I'll start by saying that the welcome was impeccable, a very kind waitress took both our orders for drinks and pizzas, on time, with care. Excellent pizza, nothing to complain about. Quality ingredients, balanced flavors, nothing to envy from a real Italian pizza. When we had finished the pizza and drinks, we wanted to order again. I wanted to try the desserts and honestly I was thirsty. After collecting the plates, no one thought to ask the usual question, if we wanted anything else. I would like to point out that it was still 8 and the place closes at 9. One of the waiters went out for a break to smoke and have a beer. In the whole time we were out, neither he nor anyone else bothered to ask us anything. After having drawn his attention to a request that surprised him, he replied smugly that he would have the dessert menu brought to us. Another ten minutes passed and no one came back to our table. Our patience was exhausted. My customer sensitivity was hurt, and a customer's forgetful behavior cannot be excused. In numbers, you have gambled something like two beers, two desserts, two coffees. Do a quick calculation. Thirty minutes had passed since we had finished the pizza. In the end we got up and I bought the dessert and water at the Albert Heijn around the corner. For a moment I fantasized about taking my colleagues out to dinner. But since it is not possible to book by phone and the service is what it is, I think I will choose another quality pizzeria in the centre of Eindhoven where at least my guests and I are not invisible.

The pizzas were delicious. No idea if they have desserts. It's not on the menu. Staff is friendly! Also for a (short-term impatient) crying baby ;)

Een half uurtje voor opening gebeld en er was nog een tafeltje vrij voor 2. Snelle bediening, vriendelijk. Enige minpuntje vond ik de muziek die binnen iets te hard was. Pizza's zijn niet super dik maar wel lekker, niet te zout. Drinken was er ook snel. Fijne locatie dichtbij het centrum en toch rustiger, wat fijn is.

A very stunning dinner party. There were four of our friends, and we ordered the chef's recommended red sauce pizza (slightly spicy but very flavorful), a white sauce pizza filled with mozzarella, and a special flavor (with a lot of cheese, ham, and salami). The appetizer platter is quite delicious. You can enjoy different types of cheese and cured ham. Paired with sparkling water or red wine, it is a perfect appetizer. It is endless aftertaste! It was my first time to go there, and I also found that the service staff were very patient and enthusiastic in introducing the dishes. I really liked their professional service attitude, which made me feel very relaxed. I can choose the pizza I like without spending too much effort studying the menu. I will probably come here more often when I have the opportunity❤️

Good pizza, good music (80s/90s) and accessible price. Had dinner with a group and a small toddler. The place felt a bit small/crowded but there was enough (comfortable) space for the baby chair.

At Django's you can eat the tastiest pizzas in Eindhoven. Fresh and prepared with love. Starters are also all recommended. Whether you come for a quick pizza or an extensive evening of dining, always 10/10!

Nice pizzas, but not more than that. Were just barely warm. Black crust looks authentic, but tastes like it looks: burnt. Friendly staff, but they are too busy to use more words than necessary to take an order. Got the feeling that they want the tables occupied as often as possible. I understand that this is financially beneficial, but it doesn't really feel hospitable. Not bad, but certainly not good either. Not worth repeating.

Good pizza, as Italian I can say that was probably a 8.5/10 pizza. One of the best I did eat in Eindhoven

I came on advice because the pizzas were said to be so tasty. Sunday evening, reserved inside. My first impression: very busy, little space inside. The music is loud enough to dance, but disruptive to talk to each other. It was seriously very loud. We decided to eat quickly and go to the other side to continue talking. Ordered pizza Gissa and 4 staggioni. Dough is thin, which is nice, but it was a bit bland in taste. I don't think the 4 staggioni were served immediately and then you get a wet sticky dough. Nothing special, very unfortunate. Maybe it's better for takeout but there are better places for this.

Delicious food, previously tried the antipasti and pizza diavola and now the carpaccio and pizza nduja. Delicious real Italian pizzas, highly recommended!

Both eating there and taking away are great! I am lazy by nature and that is why I prefer to order, but for Django's pizzas I like to leave my couch to pick it up.

Best Pizza Anywhere. And my favorite restaurant in Eindhoven. Yes there are fancier and more refined places for special occasions that are wonderful but for a casual neighborhood watering hole this place cannot be beat for reliably outstanding pizzas and appetizers. Yes you will pay 15 or 20 euros for a pizza but I promise it will send your tastebuds into a blissful frenzy. Well worth the money, IMO. Great job Django’s. I’m so happy you exist! And around the corner from my house. Yay!

Eating a pizza with friends again. We had already heard about Djangos, but thought we would give it a try. It was on a Monday evening that we made a reservation. Good thing we did, it was completely booked. And it's not that big. We sat next to the kitchen and saw the beautiful pizzas being prepared. We spend an Anti Pasta for 2 people and it was enough for 4 people as a snack with drinks. Then we ordered the Pizzas, first 2 and then another. With a good Prosecco on the side. Our guests were very satisfied and, like us, will definitely return. In this casual, cozy restaurant, without any fuss. And don't forget, they also have a nice terrace on the street side.

Soooo delicious!! We have been there twice now and the pizzas are delicious!! We have tried the yellow one, the prosciutto one and several others, and they are all excellent! The service was very good, respectful and polite! And the prices are ok 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Cozy atmosphere and wonderfully cozy. The place is packed, so make a reservation or wait a while. The pizzas are ready quickly and very good. All main courses are only pizzas, so it's wonderfully easy to choose! Nice and good service, and also fast, which is always appreciated. Recommended if you want something quick to eat!

Brabant atmosphere, friendly service, young hardworking team with ambition in a cozy business with a good ambiance

Nothing wrong with this place: excellent food for a reasonable price, nice service, nicely decorated. But: the acoustics are almost like in a cold room. You barely hear what your tablemates are saying and because everyone in this place has that, everyone starts talking even louder and things go from bad to worse. So if they improve this, they can expect a higher score from me.

Love the atmosphere. Small and cozy. ! Great for friends, family and colleagues gathering. Food is delicious. Pizza bread is way more delicious than other (hyped ) restaurants in the city. And I love the appetizers choice.

Druk plekkie, interesting menu, vriendelijke en professionele service, lekker wijntje, goeie pizza! Ze hadden een fout gemaakt met mijn pizza, dat hadden ze sneller door dan ik en ook erg snel opgelost, super netjes. Ze hebben twee pizzas op de kaart die vegan zijn, maar alles kon vegan gemaakt worden 👌

The best pizza in Eindhoven!! We went here for a dinner with clients, and we had such a great time. Original recipes, exciting vegetarian options, even a vegan pizza that is heavenly. Aubergine en burrata erg lekker! Pizza Salami ook lekker. Pizza pompoen lekker maar weinig groene asperges. Je moest ze ‘zoeken’. Jammer.

We zochten iets om te eten na een afspraak in de avond en iemand had ergens een pizzeria gezien. Maar wat voor één! Aardig en kundig personeel hielp ons aan een tafel. Alles was gereserveerd, maar wij konden er nog wel even tussen. Gelukkig, anders hadden we dit moeten missen. Authentieke Italiaanse pizza's werden ons voorgeschoteld. Waar je hoorbaar van zucht als je een hap neemt zonder dat je het zelf in de gaten hebt. De maestro zelf kwam de pizza's aan ons serveren. Pittige olie erbij. Het klopte allemaal. Enige minpunt is dat we niet echt in de buurt wonen, maar hier nog veel over gaan spreken. Dank!

Fantastisch lekkere pizza’s! 🥹 Italiaanse kaart, geen pizza Hawaï met dikke opgeblazen korst, maar authentieke pizza’s uit een prachtige oven waar je met je neus op kijkt. Het is jammer dat we hier niet in de buurt wonen, anders had Django’s er een vaste klant bij! 5 ⭐️

Hoi! Ik was onderweg naar de stad, maar toen kwam ik langs dit enorm gezellig restaurant. Een heerlijk warme sfeer hangt er hier binnen. En dan heb ik het nog niet eens over de service! Wauw! Heel fijne plek, goede pizza's en leuke lui! Een heel fijn buurtrestaurant zoals er meer in de buurt zijn. Geen gepetrificeerde hipster-hangout met koffie voor 23 Euro, maar gewoon een leuke plek om te eten! Of af te halen (tip).

Super aanwinst voor Eindhoven. Wat een mooie kaart. Speciale Italiaanse voorgerechten; de melanzane (gegaarde aubergine) is een absolute aanrader. En dan de gamba’s uit de oven; je likt je vingers erbij af. Prima pizza’s ook; probeer vooral de vega pompoenpizza en de Porchetta. Dit tentje gaat het helemaal maken.
