D'n Burgemister in Wijk 00 Veldhoven

Finally a review, Lunch It was a bit awkward that the soup (tomatoes) and the salmon and pulled chicken wrap were put on the table at the same time... I thought you'd get the soup first, then the sandwich and wrap. It barely fit on the table. I actually had zucchini soup, but it wasn't to my taste; it was neatly rolled over after the tomatoes. The pulled chicken was on the menu, but it's a shame they forgot the 🌶🌶🌶. I can handle quite a bit, but one bite was enough to not finish it. Extremely spicy. We mentioned this to the staff when we asked for the bill; they didn't even ask if everything was to our liking or if it tasted good. He came back with the bill and didn't say anything else. When we asked what the clock said, he said it could be slightly spicy. The service wasn't very experienced and sociable today. I usually find everything is quickly resolved and have had different experiences here. One word: GOOD!

Social deal, great value for money. I ordered fries separately, but the main course was rather basic: a piece of meat with minimal vegetables on a bed of mashed potatoes. Dessert was delicious.

Ideally located next to the Schalm Theatre. Enjoy a cup of coffee or a bite to eat before a performance. This venue is also perfect for a farewell ceremony.

Food was good, but in my opinion it could have been better.

Sat outside because the weather was nice. The square is not very cozy, but the terrace is. Hopefully, the reorganization of the square will also take into account the entourage, the coziness may be improved. However, that is partly a task of the municipality, not only of the catering establishments.

Staff friendly, linguine aglio olio was really tasteless, portion too small and the cheese was missing. This could really be much better.

Usually not the busiest terrasje around here but the borrelplankje is really worth it. Fifteen euro for a lot of beer or wine treats. Also: pretty good spot for Kings Day 😸 👑

The food was very tasty. We were a bit pressed for time because of a performance afterwards, and that was all nicely respected. Always friendly service and we were on time for the performance.

Had lunch here for the second time. Long waiting time, impersonal service, mediocre food, no atmosphere. Too bad, it could be so much better.

Had lunch here with an old colleague. It was during the week and very quiet, so there is not much to say in terms of atmosphere. The service is friendly. I had a salmon sandwich. Only the sandwich is not a sandwich but a brown or white sandwich. It's something different.

Very beautiful place. The food was good (4/5) too but not amazing. However the staff were very kind and polite and loved the quotes on the ceiling. 😀

The hamburger 🍔 was really nasty, very sweet and tasteless that I wouldn't eat here again, I made a big mistake coming here. I don't understand why it is 4 stars, it should be a 1 star restaurant.

I am visiting the Netherlands for 7 days and this time I had lunch at D'n Burgemister, with my mom. After a very good quality cup of coffee we enjoyed the kroketten with bread and salad. Need to be said to that the food was very delicious. The staff of this place is very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere of D'n Burgemister is nice and cosy. Absolutely recommendable.

Fine restaurant for a nice bite, personel is friendly, the food was medium, entrée weren't bad but nothing special. Ribs were good, chicken special was great.

The chicken sandwich is really sweet and had cream cheese on it. I didn't even finish it and they charge fifteen. I should have gone somewhere else.

I attended a wedding as a photographer and afterwards I went here, it was super cozy and nicely made up. Cupcakes? Super tasty

The price/quality was not in proportion. The staff made up for a lot with the good service, unfortunately the food was not very good compared to the price you paid.

A salad with beef tips. Beef tips were tough and more than well done. The cook insisted that it was good......

Al meerdere keren heerlijk gegeten. Bediening is enthousiast en doen het echt goed. De spareribs zijn er super lekker, maar we hebben ook al diverse pasta's besteld die echt heerlijk zijn. Hou je van Tiramisu die zou ik die zeker neem, groot stuk en echt zo lekker!

Had dinner here at Cinema Gold before the movie. Salmon starter and satay main course. Partner had salmon and burger. Food was well prepared and tasted good. P.p. You will spend about 30-35 EURO for 2 drinks, starter and main course. And also 1.5 hours to 2 hours further. Friendly and fast service. Nice atmosphere, not too busy, although it was quite full for a weekday (that says something).

Delicious food, friendly service and varied menu. Decided to make a reservation here in advance of a Joel Borelli show. Nice and close and a great combination. If we visit the theater again, we will sit here again in advance.

Sipariş verme aşamasında garson hiç yardımcı olmadı. Menüleri verip ne istediğimizi sordu ve o anda vermeyince gitti. Tekrar geldiğinde de sorduğumuz sorulara pek yardımcı olamadı. Çocuk tabağında hazır market Nugget ı kullanmışlar . Restoranın tek garson ile tüm masalara yetmeye çalışması restoranın işletme politikası olabilir ama benim suçum değil. Veya restoran garson seçimlerinde daha dikkatli olmalı.

Het was een gezellige avond via de PVGE Eindhoven. Het vlees vond ik veel te taai. En bij het voorgerecht een stukje toast bij je carpaccio zou super zijn .

Gezellig terras aan het Meiveld, tegen de schouwburg aan. Het weer hielp ook mee!

Leuk zitten vooral voor of na een avondje uit in de Schalm of bij de bioscoop. Alleen een koffie gedaan dus niet gegeten.

Great food, friendly service, cool rustic atmosphere... However it has an odd odor to it.. at least in the mornings. Great venue for hosting events.

Nagenoeg bijna geen gasten aanwezig, maar toch sfeervol. Leuk vrolijk personeel wat constant bezig was met schoonmaken en opruimen. Wij hebben erg lekker gegeten. Voor mij persoonlijk was het weer teveel, maar het smaakte voortreffelijk. Ik had een broodje burgermister. Met rode biet en gorgonzola. Ontzettend verrassend smaakvol. Dikke aanrader! Mijn moijito smaakte daarintegen iets teveel naar limonade. En voor een cocktail van €8,50 verwacht ik toch iets meer alcohol 😉. Maar dat is maar een ieniemienie klein minpuntje op deze culinaire beleving. Het eten en de bediening krijgen een dikke 10.

De bediening was meer met zichzelf bezig dan met de gasten. Verder gezellig en lekker.

Eten was wel redelijk en bediening vriendelijk, maar jammer dat er geen sfeer is.

Veel reserveringen dus hadden niet de beste plek ondanks dat het niet druk was (wat kan natuurlijk). Heerlijk eten. Nieuwe kok Italiaans eten moet geweldig zijn. Hele vriendelijke bediening. Aanrader

Quite a nice place in the middle of Veldhoven centre with friendly staffs and great ambience. The food was OK, but the service was very pleasant.

Goede/kwaliteit prijs. Ongedwongen …. Leuk om te combineren met theater de Schalm.

Lekker gegeten. Alleen de smeerseltjes vond ik minimaal. Om al die broodjes te smeren! En de Carpaccio was te droog zei mijn buurvrouw. Dus misschien de volgende keer wat meer dressing erover. Verder was het redelijk.

Lieve maar onkundige bediening. Prijs kwaliteit wat betreft het eten, totaal uit balans. Kleine porties en onaangeklede gerechten, gaan voor een hoge prijs de deur uit. Jammer, want het is wel heel leuk zitten daar!

We nemen alleen maar koffie en een appelgebak

Wij hebben dit restaurant gekozen omdat wij die avond een voorstelling hadden in het theater ernaast. De menukaart is gevarieerd. Personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Naast ons zat een grote groep van 10 mensen waardoor ons eten niet altijd warm was maar wel smakelijk. Hoe dichter de tijd naar de voorstelling hoe drukker het werd en betalen was bijna een uitdaging.

Prima prijs kwaliteit verhouding

We ordered 2 truffle-mayo burgers, with a delicious mojito mocktail and a beer. I appreciate the staff preparing an alcohol free cocktail for me: the food came rather quickly despite the busy hours, the burger was ok. Not great, not horrible. Just ok. The bread can definitely be better, it breaks as soon as you touch it! By the way, we didn’t taste the truffle mayonnaise, but the staff friendliness and attentiveness compensates the flavor we missed. I would come back just for benefit if the doubt and give it another shot!

Prima eten, maar wel lang wachten op een rustige zondagavond, met toch voldoende personeel. Vegaburgen zonder augurk werd met 3 plakken augurk geserveerd, zelf maar uitgevist. Voor de bavette zouden streak messen fijn zijn. Het is fijn als men regelmatig langs komt om drankjes op te nemen, je kan ook vragen of alles naar wens is ipv 6x vragen of we nog wat willen. Maar prima gelegenheid om gezellig te eten.

Lekker terrasje in de zon. Aardige mensen op terras. En borrelhapjes waren keer wat anders en lekker. Verder niet gegeten. Dus kan het niet verder beoordelen.

Aardig personeel en lekker lang zitten eten en daten met een aardige dame!

Met koningsdag hier geweest. Begrijpelijk een dag dat het drukker is en de wachttijden die wat langer zijn. Nu liep er ook een beperkte hoeveelheid personeel rond dus daar heb ik zeker begrip voor. Maar een truffelburger waar de truffelmayonaise ver te zoeken is, het broodje gewoon koud en niet gegrild is waardoor de burger afkoelt, de burger zelf wel heel veel kleiner is dan het broodje en hard is doordat deze veel te ver doorbakken is, dat zou niet mogen bij een gelegenheid waar de burger behoorlijk prominent op het menu staat. De friet was overigens erg lekker en de sla was, sla. Daarnaast ook nog 15 minuten mogen wachten op de rekening.

Het hoofdgerecht, vangst van de dag "dorade" mag wel groter zijn en meer verse groenten of een salade erbij. Verder was het eten prima, goede sfeer, en vriendelijke bediening.

Wat zijn ze hier gegroeid!!! Heerlijk eten,fijne sfeer en top bediening. Er viel voorheen weleens wat te klagen ( te weinig personeel na een voorstelling) Nu liep alles als een geoliede machine,en was het eten TOP. Na de voorstelling nog wat gaan drinken in een prima gastvrije sfeer! Ga zo door!!!
