Super nice cocktail bar with delicious cocktails!

Nice idea, but the execution could be better. It's a so-called speakeasy bar, but it was quite noisy. The cocktails aren't really up to par. The staff is friendly, but it did take a while for your order to arrive.

Quirky place but cocktails are just OK nothing special. The noise is deafening as your in a basement, so you can't hear each other speak unless your shouting. We were super excited to go visit this place, but we're disappointed by the OK cocktails and atmosphere.

Average cocktails and extremely noisy. More of a novelty place than anything else. As your in a basement the noise bounces of the ceilings as they are low. My husband and I couldn't hear each other speak unless we shouted, which became annoying. We had 2 drinks each, neither were very special but enjoyable all the same.

Best cocktails in town, the staff are visibly pros and the atmosphere is just amazing!

Terrific speakeasy, a go-to in Leeuwarden in my opinion. The staff, the atmosphere, the unique drinks, it's all there. At an affordable rate as well. Be wary of their fondness of absinthe.

Favorite bar in Leeuwarden! Eccentric cocktails prepared by super sweet staff. There is always time for a chat and all for a fair price. Definitely recommended.

Sat at the bar and chatted with the very skilled bartender who lovingly and pleasantly made his signature cocktails for us. Enjoyed!

Loved the cocktails, but my favorite part was the service and the atmosphere. This is a pretty hidden bar in the city, but lovely! The staff even offered us salty popcorns and water!

Amazing cocktails and shared (vegan) platter. We went in with a reservation and I highly recommend this as it fills up very quickly. The prices are also decent (around 8€ per cocktail) and the taste is awesome! my favorite was the Dr. Watson cocktail (or better known as a prescription). Cant wait to go again!

Waren für einen Kurztrip in Leeuwarden und haben gelesen, dass man im Dr. Watson gewesen sein sollte. Es ist eine besondere Bar im Keller und von außen kaum zu erkennen :-) Die Cocktails waren gut und das Ambiente auch sehr schön. Es war unter der Woche recht leer und ziemlich kalt, was ein bisschen schade war.

Hele fijne plek om in goed gezelschap een cocktail te drinken. Wij zaten in het bar gedeelte, leuk om te zien hoe al die cocktails gemaakt worden. Fijne sfeer hing er. Hebben een paar lekkere cocktails gehad. Strawberry daquiry oid vindt je hier niet, maar uiteindelijk den andere favoriet gevonden met likeur 43 en cola.

Echt super! Had onder andere de cocktail Us Mem, die was echt heeeerlijk. Borrelplankje is ook top!

Samen met mijn vriend even de deur uit. Dr Watson heeft een super knus en warme sfeer vanaf het moment dat je binnenstapt. Daarnaast word je met open armen ontvangen. Wij kozen allebei voor een cocktail, ik de narcolepsia (holy smokes wat lekker!) en mijn vriend koos voor Us Heit. Deze mensen weten hoe ze cocktails moeten maken! Een absolute aanrader!

Very cozy atmosphere with competent and friendly staff. Highly recommended!

Great location, great atmosphere and friendly staff. However the title cocktailbar is quite overrated. The are 4 cocktails and quite some "mix drinks on steroids". Also working at a cocktailbar is an actual profession, not quite something you do as a part time job. Cocktails are more of a blend of sweetness rather than actually tasting all the ingredients seperately. Presentation is ok, but given the atmosphere of the bar it misses a bit of grandeur. In the end the bar leans more towards a glorified student bar, but with the right *experienced* staff and more exclusivity it could turn into a real gem.
