Echt Brood in Breda centrum

The bakery's location was easy to find, the food was amazing. It was rich and fresh and soft but crunchy at the same time so basically all a good croissant and or a banana bread should be. Highly recommend trying out!

Good bakery with tasty and healthy bread!

It's really nice that you can see exactly how everything is made. I chose the pain de seigle. It was delicious. If you are a bread lover, this is the best choice in Breda.

Very tasty bread. I always drive past it in the morning before I go to work. Time, love, and craftsmanship, and you can taste it in the bread.

Best baguettes in town, fantastic sourdough breads in all shapes and sizes. Croissants don't have as many layers, so they're a bit less technical, but the breads are top-notch. A must-visit, highly recommended.

Quite likely the best bakery in Breda, the bread is very good and of neighbouring countries' standards, a rare find in Breda. It is much pricier than bread at grocery stores but it's worth paying more and eating bread than less and be served cardboard. My only recommendation is to have a greater variety of pastries (other than pain au chocolat or croissants)

It is one of the best bakeries. It is maybe more on the pricey side, but the products are tasty.

Their pain au chocolate is very yummy!! Crispy and fresh. Pretty expensive for one pastery tho, something around 2.20 euros, but I haven't tried a better pain au chocolate in Breda yet.

The bread was tasty, but I think €7.50 for a white bread without kernels or seeds is way too expensive.

If your in the mood for a bakery that takes comfort food to next level, Echt Brood is a must visit! This bakery has garnered a loyal following for its delicious and moist banana bread. If you want one should come at this place before 12. What I got was the last available piece and I was in the waiting queue and was hoping with fingers crossed that no one takes it before me. Delicious bread with pepper/olive

This bakery truly stands out as one of the best places for sourdough in the Netherlands. The bread is exceptional—perfectly crusty on the outside, airy and flavorful on the inside. I never leave without grabbing their coconut macaroons, which are simply divine! I also love the convenience of placing an order online and picking it up at my convenience. On top of that, the staff is always warm and welcoming, making every visit a pleasure. Highly recommend this place!

The bread is very good, but perhaps the best part is the weekend opening hours.

Great bakery, very tasty products. But if you are not on time, I mean easily, you will miss some nice croissants.

Really nice bakery close enough to Breda station. Their boule blanche is to die for and (any other bread they've got on offer). You can definitely taste the quality and the sourdough. While their pastries are not at the same level of goodness as their bread (compared to other stronger local pastisseries in Breda), their cardamom buns definitely stand out, with a great taste and texture, highly recommended. In general, the other pastries lose their flakiness after a few hours after baked. Their almond croissant is missing a lemony taste which would definitely add to it's lightness as the almond praline in the middle feels too heavy when eating. They have hazelnut and chocolate cookies that are quite good. However, their texture is too humid to our liking. The dark chocolate of them and pain au chocolate is definitely great quality. They also offer scones. They also sell melmelades and other home-made produce It's lovely to see the bakers making the bread fresh through the windows. It will definitely be our go-to location whenever we want some good quality bread.

I'm not much of a bread eater at all, but since we started buying bread at Echt, I really am. What full, pure flavors! Nice little shop where you get good help. Favorites: boule blanche and croissants (and oliebollen when in season). But the coconut macros, chocolate chip cookies, cardamom rolls, nut raisin bread are also delicious.

Geweldige bakker. Puur brood zonder toevoegingen, aardig en behulpzaam personeel. Ik rij er al jaren met plezier voor naar Breda.

Echt brood….? Na een jaar lang klant te zijn trek ik mijn twijfels. Als je broden koopt is het niet duidelijk of het Biologisch is, de ene keer wel de andere keer niet of deels. Voor de prijzen die ze vragen verwacht je dit wel. En dan hebben we het nog niet over de toegevoegde producten aan het brood zoals rozijnen, zaden en olijven. Vraag me af of de bakkers zelf wel zo op de hoogte zijn….. Als deze mannen zich willen onderscheiden zullen ze hier serieus mee aan de slag moeten gaan.

Wow, dit is echt een broodnodig brood. Ik heb pain au Chocolat gehad, het was heerlijk. Vol met smaak en perfekt gebakken. Als ik in Breda ben, zou ik daar brood kopen.

Vriendelijk personeel, lekker brood, croissants en nu ook echt heerlijk home made vegan ijs!

Bedankt voor de heerlijke brioche broodjes, de hamburgers waren daardoor helemaal top!

Als je dan brood eet kan je het beste zuurdesem brood eten. En al helemaal van Echt Brood. De broden zijn gemaakt zoals het hoort! Het personeel is altijd zeer vriendelijk en ze hebben een breed aanbod. Echt een aanrader!

Best almond croissants in the universe. Such beautiful and wonderful staff always there and those croissants are just too die for. Staff go above and beyond and we just love this place more than anything.

Producten krijgen 5 sterren, alles is altijd heerlijk. Alleen wat mij opvalt is dat er altijd wat onenigheid tussen het personeel lijkt te zijn (in het weekend). Jongen is super behulpzaam maar het meisje die er werkt zit altijd op een stoel te eten en als de jongen vraagt te helpen omdat het druk is of wanneer hij al klaar is met werk, lacht ze en blijft ze zitten.. Is best een beetje ongemakkelijk en al paar keer voorgekomen, en vooral vervelend voor de jongen die er werkt:).

Ga graag naar Echt brood. Daar koop je vers brood!.

Favorite bakery in town! I recommend the rye bread with raisins the most (also with hazelnuts available). The prices are a little bit expensive especially when you compare it with a normal bakery or a supermarket bakery but the taste is very good. Nice to see is that the bakery is growing so you have more choices than a couple of years ago.

Very good bread made fresh daily on site. This is your local bakery and very worthy of your patronage. They have many vegan options so please ask them to point them out. I enjoy their French baguette and their sourdough (or something very similar to sourdough). Just go in an ask which is their most popular with customers. Many times there is a line of people waiting out the door, which really shows that you are in for a treat.

Brood zoals brood moeten zijn/smaken!!

De producten zijn top! Niets op aan te merken. Kom je daarentegen voor een glimlach kun je beter ergens anders heen gaan. Kom daar regelmatig omdat ik zo van dat brood hou maar nog nooit kon er een klein lachje af. Ze geven me eigenlijk vooral het gevoel dat ik stoor. PS ik doe zelf aan dienstverlening, ik weet wat wel hoort.

Desembrood overheerlijk! Dit is de enige bakker in Breda die zelf ambachtelijke croissant maakt.

Met afstand de beste bakker van Breda, en misschien wel van heel Nederland! Nog nooit zulk lekker brood gegeten! Alles wordt vers en met eigen desem bereid. Ook voor advies over brood bakken kun je hier terecht! De baguette, Boule Blanche en croissant zijn échte aanraders!

Super fijne bakker. Het kan er flink druk zijn, maar dat is meer dan terecht. Heerlijk vers brood, koekjes en ander lekkers. Plus heel vriendelijk personeel.
