Much tastier bread than the one from the supermarket

Bought an expensive ski cake there on Wednesday, well in our opinion it was absolutely not fresh, the bottom practically fell apart and the cake had collapsed. Together with a loaf of bread 23.85 paid this was once but never again. Sorry also the ladies we did not find very customer friendly.

I'm all for supporting the bakery on the corner, and that's fine if it's a little more expensive, but 4.90 for a loaf of bread is more than twice as expensive as elsewhere and I don't notice any difference in quality that can justify that price.

They have a lot of tasty sandwiches and also pastries. Nice staff too and they also have gift cards that you can use there.

This bakery has changed owners and is now called Van der Woerd.

I'm just about to get half a loaf. There are only whole loaves. He asks can I get half a piece. No, we don't have half with us. Can you make a half of this? No, we don't. We have now gone to another bakery. It was possible there. And the staff was really super friendly, not like in Zeist. They are really grumpy. Never good morning or anything.

The products are excellent and so is the price. But that's it. I am hardly greeted at all and every visit I get the idea that I have to leave as soon as possible. Very unfortunate, will try baker Albert.
