Echte Bakker van Walderveen in Geldermalsen

We bought a speculaas almond stick from this bakery, expecting it to be fresh. What a great disappointment it turned out to be, because it was old and dry and the amount of food was in short supply! We went by with the staff and explained what was going on, but they couldn't do anything for us... unfortunately bad service!

A wonderful family business founded by my uncle and now by my cousins. I even had the pleasure of selling them a scale once. If you've been delivering top quality for so long, 5 stars are definitely deserved. Oh, and the biscuits are delicious.

Avoid it, accommodation is a disaster! When we arrived, there was supposed to be a bed, but there was no bed, and when it arrived after a few days, Mrs. Izabella said that we had to assemble it ourselves. The job is not certain, if they don't like it, they thank you. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!

We get our sandwiches there every week; they stay fresh for days and are the tastiest we've ever had! Highly recommended.

Delicious bread, currant bread with almond paste. It's expensive, but you get what you pay for. One of the best bakeries we've visited.
