Every time, the food is incredibly delicious! The host/hostess and the staff make sure you have everything you need. The pick-up service is highly recommended; for a small fee, you can all enjoy a drink together and arrive home safely. A huge compliment!

After reading the reviews, I booked this restaurant. We had a delicious meal, and everything went smoothly. The 2-share platter is definitely recommended! Everything was delicious and more than enough.

We had a wonderful meal at the Remise! A very pleasant atmosphere and delicious flavors. Everything was well-balanced, and there was more than enough to go around. We had three hamburgers to share. I've eaten at the Remise several times. Always a friendly welcome and good service. The price and quality are definitely good. It's always cozy and a nice place to sit.

During a bike ride with an overnight stay nearby, we stumbled upon Eethuis De Remise – and what a wonderful surprise it was! We had an excellent meal: the dishes were fresh, flavorful, and carefully prepared. The interior is charming and stylish, contributing to a cozy, relaxed atmosphere. The staff also deserve a big compliment: very friendly and hospitable. You immediately feel welcome and well cared for. Highly recommended for anyone in the area – with or without a bike! We remember it fondly.

Not my thing, my food was cold. It felt like it had been sitting there for a while before it was served. The price-quality ratio is too expensive for what you get, in my opinion. The reason I went here was because of the billboards along the way in Parkstad and the good reviews on Google. The location is a shame, it's on such a busy main road; far too noisy. The restaurant can't do anything about that, but not everyone will appreciate it if you want to have a quiet conversation. The service was very friendly. The owner was very loud.

The owner even kept the kitchen open especially for us, so we could enjoy some excellent chicken satay and a delicious pickled beef dish. The service was very friendly and fast. And there was a great atmosphere, thanks in part to a fantastic band (Jason Hill & the Jalapeños). A truly enjoyable evening.

Two of us had lunch here on a weekday. The food was excellent, and the service was good. Perfect for a quick bite to eat after a bike ride or motorcycle trip. Lots of motorcycles and cars pass by, which is a lovely sight to behold.

Delicious food, bread board, hamburger and stew with sour meat. Was delicious..! Service hospitable, friendly and helpful. For atmosphere a somewhat lower rating. We sat on the terrace and there you miss the atmosphere a bit with continuously passing traffic with all the noise and smell things that you get for free. But again, great restaurant and would definitely recommend it.

Aspergesoep en spare ribs zoet heel goed. Uiensoep zeer zoet. 1 medewerkster fenomenaal, rest maakt t niet uit. Eigenaar geen respect voor bediening en haar ouders (dit heeft ze vast van moeder, dat van vader). Zijn stem zeer aanwezig (heeft zeker een klein p goed te maken), zelfs als we ergens anders gaan zitten commentaar en ons belachelijk maken. Burger was erg rauw maar wat erger was een koude kerntemperatuur, meneer wenst zijn 'vinger' ergens anders in te steken dan controle van de burger (kook- thermometer niet aanwezig?). Verder weet niemand in Limburg het beter dan HIJ hoe een burger te bakken verwoord hij op zeer luide toon (want dat is emotie beweerd hij). We hoeven niet te betalen want hij wil geen slechte revieuw, hmm vreemd. We hebben maar een extraatje voor personeel laten liggen en hopen dat ze het mogen houden.

Had dinner here for the first time with my husband and 2 children. Was assigned a table upon arrival. The terrace is right next to the road and around dinner time, so it is busy with rush hour traffic. Took a long time before people came to request drinks. A larger group after us, with a lot of bravado, had their drinks before us. Shame. So if you wait patiently with your family, it will take longer... Then only after waiting 45 minutes did our food arrive. I personally think that's too long. During the meal we were repeatedly asked whether everything was to our liking. Compliments for the spareribs and the stew! Very good! The crispy chicken burger was a bit tasteless. The only thing that was very present was the pickle. All in all, fine to have eaten once, but not a second time for us. I would like to respond to the owner's response below... I understand that a bad review is never nice. However, this can be taken as constructive criticism. And it is certainly not intended to be negative. Because we were not in our 'place', we did not have dessert or extra drinks, so that is why we asked for the bill immediately after our meal. Then you'll be gone quickly.

We had dinner at the Remise 3 evenings in a row because the food was very tasty and the service was absolutely great. The owner, Rick, was very hospitable and cordial, but so were his employees, Glenn took excellent care of us for 3 evenings. Live music was of high quality. We made a reservation here because of signs along the highway, because there is finally a cafe that makes us happy in terms of menu. Normal food for a reasonable price. Booked without checking reviews. The reception was most cordial. We ate 3 courses with rounds of drinks. Because of the nice weather we sat outside, which has a nice terrace with sun and shade. We still had a choice. We got spare ribs, 3 good pieces of meat that were still really hot. Received the steak as desired and the satay was well cooked on the inside (this can sometimes go wrong elsewhere). I recently took pictures of the desserts, which were also delicious. Tip; make a reservation, because this eatery is located at a point where there is a lot of traffic, but at one point they unfortunately had to tell guests that it was full. Despite the crowds, we had a pleasant evening with good food.

Nice cup of coffee and something to drink on a beautiful terrace. 4 Different Limburg pies of course. A large point, tasty but all with a dry edge. Looking for another baker? Beautiful weather and the terrace is in a nice spot. Cheerful singing owner and friendly staff.

After our team outing, we had dinner at De Remise. Since I'm on a complex diet for health reasons that restricts me from many foods, I contacted the owner. The support I received was incredibly helpful; they offered extensive advice, and we came up with an option where I could still have a main course and dessert. The owner had already recommended the lactose- and gluten-free cheesecake, and rightly so! It was delicious.

I had received an email to write a review about our visit on Sun April 20. I did that. I had put two minus points in my response. The most important thing is that we didn't get our main course until just before 8:30 PM, while we finished our starter around 7:15 PM. We thought that really took too long. The other is that the reservation made on Thu April 17 was only confirmed on Fri April 18 and that the reservation time was changed from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM without consultation. However, I now see that a call was made on April 18, but that I did not receive any notification. So you can't do anything about that. The food was excellent and so was the hospitality.

Had a delicious meal yesterday. Started with the onion soup. This is made according to our own recipe with cognac. Delicious and unsurpassed. The burgers and meat dishes served are excellent and you will not be short of anything. All this in a very pleasant atmosphere and friendly manager. A beautiful evening in a beautiful cafe.

Great spot for reasonably priced excellent Bistro style dishes. Nice selection of beers and, for the first time I tried Dutch wine from Limburg vineyards - and very nice it was too. The owner and his staff are really great - very friendly, chatty and attentive - with plenty of recommendations to make your evening a pleasant experience. We ate there two nights - the first being so good we went back for more. It's likely we'll be returning to the region, so this "Eetcafe" will certainly be a first port of call for dinner.

I usually post a photo with the review. But it was gone before I thought about it. We were here on a Tuesday evening and we were surprised at how busy it was. As doubters, we opted for a beer tasting and then a shared plank with spare ribs, remise burger and pickled meat. What a party! Although everything was delicious, we especially enjoyed the slow-cooked ribs and the pickled meat. Finally a rib with meat instead of fat. Super tender and good flavour. The pickled meat was pleasantly sour. All in all highly recommended!

Meteen op ons gemak, door de aimabele uitbater. Heerlijk vertoeven, onder het genot van mooie, super lekkere bourgondische gerechten.....geserveerd door vriendelijk personeel. Nice location. Very hospitable. Went for a bite to eat a few days after New Year's Eve. There were too many dishes on the menu that were no longer available. This wasn't mentioned beforehand, so the order had to be redone several times. The red wine sauce for the venison steak had run out at Christmas (over a week ago). Too bad. There's room for improvement. The staff was very friendly.

Nice atmospheric cafe. We chose this for a bite and a walk arrangement. Before leaving we got a nice piece of Limburg pie and coffee or tea. Then you could choose from a number of walking routes that are really worth recommending. After the walk we were treated to a 12 hour. Good service and then went home satisfied.

For the owner. To get a 5 you have to bring something special to the table. The food was good. Not special. When we sat down at a table in the shade, we were asked to take a seat elsewhere. Only partly in the shade. While the first table remains empty. I had the impression that the salmon fillet was from Lidl, but I could be wrong Conclusion: certainly not bad. I think the price/quality was okay because I really don't remember what I paid. So certainly not too expensive.

Nice cafe in Wittem near Gulpen. Spacious terrace at this café where you can sit comfortably. On a somewhat busy road. Could have been decorated a little nicer, but it was fine. We have no idea what it is like inside. Extensive clear beer list. Nice food menu for both lunch and dinner. We came here for a late lunch and ordered sandwiches. Was served with some salad. Service was smooth and tidy, nice chat. We would definitely come back here.

Very warmly received by staff and owner. We had a step and bite package and started with a delicious brownie (and an extra chocolate chip cookie) then walked for two hours. When we returned, we had to wait a bit long for the twelve o'clock meal, but this was also very tasty and more than worth the wait. Highly recommended!

We had a delicious meal here on the recommendation of the Hommerich farm. A nice short walk takes you to the terrace along the road. Unfortunately, the brochures about the eatery were outdated, but no fuss was made about the 10% discount for guests of the farm. Not many cards say homemade Kombucha, but here it does!! During a conversation with the (we think) owner, she explained the homemade drink she made. The taste was pure, refreshing and surprising (turmeric, black pepper and ginger). A true energy booster to continue our trail. A nice fact for the rest of the potential visitors; the restaurant serves beautiful local products.
