Friendly welcome and service. The choice of starters was somewhat limited, but there were extensive options for the main course and dessert. The food was well-prepared and tasted delicious. Unfortunately, our main course arrived before we had even finished the soup; I personally find that quite a shame because it makes you eat the soup faster, you go straight from the starter to the main course without a break, and the main course could get cold (especially since we were sitting outside in quite a bit of wind).

My wife had the steak, as big as my fist. I had the sauerkraut, and damn, it was all delicious. Dessert was something with strawberries. Also a very good team, thank you for the great service!!!

We came here for a late lunch on a warm day. The interior looks cozy with clean restrooms. We sat outside, nicely in the shade. It took a long time for our drink order to be taken after we had wanted to think about it for a moment, and it also took a very long time before we could place our food order. The service was friendly and apologized twice. We were enthusiastic about the food and the side salad was delicious, even though I received white bread instead of the brown bread I requested. Some ingredients were omitted for our daughter upon request. For coffee afterwards, we ended up ordering at the bar ourselves, as no one came to our table anymore. All in all, I therefore only want to give 3 stars. These felt like unnecessary downsides.

What service. We stayed in Mechelen at De Bloeiende Berg and were able to make use of the pick-up service. A warm welcome at De Remise, a good explanation of the food, very friendly staff, and good quality food as well. Definitely worth repeating!

Hamburgers in many flavors. Well prepared and tasty. But for the price (average around €23), the serving could be better and the ambiance could be on a higher level. Tip: pay attention to detail, coasters, logos on glasses, clothing and decor, and don't shout at your colleague from a distance. The ambiance is cozy; a pub vibe. Personally, I find the prices too high for a casual eatery.

The main course was very tasty! The burgers, stew, and spareribs were a big hit. Nice burger flavors that you don't see often, like the beerburger which actually tasted like beer. Nicely presented too. Not very allergy-friendly; it seems like it is, but I ended up receiving 2 dishes with clearly visible allergies. It was resolved reasonably well, though. Due to takeaway and staff issues, we did have to wait a long time for the food.

Cozy eatery with friendly and attentive service. When the restaurant section was completely full, it did get a bit noisy, but it was also pleasantly busy. Nice beer menu with local and international beers, both on tap and in bottles. Beer was served neatly with the matching glass. The bread board beforehand was very tasty, with fresh rolls and delicious olives. The sour meat was delicious, super tender and flavorful meat. The Remiseburger was also very good and looked great with a striking black bun.

We reserved here based on signs along the highway, because there is finally a diner that makes us happy with its menu. Normal food for a reasonable price. We reserved without checking reviews. The welcome was very warm. We had a 3-course meal accompanied by rounds of drinks. Because of the beautiful weather, we sat outside; it is a lovely terrace with both sun and shade. We were even able to choose. For the spareribs, we received 3 good pieces of meat that were still piping hot. We received the steak exactly as requested, and the satay was well cooked on the inside (something that often goes wrong elsewhere). We only took photos with the desserts later, which were also delicious. Tip: make a reservation, because this diner is located in a spot with a high foot traffic, but at one point, they unfortunately had to tell guests that it was full. Despite the crowds, we had a pleasant evening with good food.

Today, January 1st, 2026, we came to eat here for the first time. Oh my goodness, that was so delicious, absolutely wonderful. We will definitely be coming back here more often. The staff were super friendly and the owner was a top guy too. The decor was also warm and cozy. In a word: amazing.

The food was delicious, both my wild game goulash stew and my girlfriend's venison steak. And a wide selection of beers. It was a fantastic dinner during our weekend in Limburg.

The reviews were generally good, so we made a reservation. They were full, so we had to arrive a bit later in the evening, but that wasn't a problem. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly and led to our table. We ordered and received drinks. Then we were somewhat forgotten and had to wait a long time for the waiter to ask what we wanted to order. They didn't even ask if we wanted another drink. Our neighbors at the table next to us also had to wait a very long time for their food. We ordered steak, which was delicious, but small. The portions were also a bit small, with few vegetables and fries, making it pricey. I think a hamburger menu offers a better price-to-quantity ratio. Drinks were also pricey. We were a bit disappointed.

The best cafe in South Limburg. If you're looking for a charming cafe with a hearty atmosphere near Gulpen, come to Remise. Partij is a lovely village, nice and quiet, and has a great location right next to hiking trails! Delicious local meat. Enjoy!

What a cozy place with delicious food!

Our hotel, a kilometer away, had no place for its own guests to eat. The neighbors 50 meters away also didn't seem interested in entertaining guests. We searched on Google and found this cafe in the next village. First, we called to see if there was room. Sure! Where are you? At DRL, oh yeah, we know them. Rik will pick you up with the bus. He'll be there in 10 minutes. What great service! Big thumbs up for Rik and his team! So, a solid 5*!

During a bike ride with an overnight stay nearby, we stumbled upon Eethuis De Remise – and what a wonderful surprise it was! We had an excellent meal: the dishes were fresh, flavorful, and carefully prepared. The interior is charming and stylish, contributing to a cozy, relaxed atmosphere. The staff also deserve a big compliment: very friendly and hospitable. You immediately feel welcome and well cared for. Highly recommended for anyone in the area – with or without a bike! We remember it fondly.

Not my thing, my food was cold. It felt like it had been sitting there for a while before it was served. The price-quality ratio is too expensive for what you get, in my opinion. The reason I went here was because of the billboards along the way in Parkstad and the good reviews on Google. The location is a shame, it's on such a busy main road; far too noisy. The restaurant can't do anything about that, but not everyone will appreciate it if you want to have a quiet conversation. The service was very friendly. The owner was very loud.
