If you don't want to be served after your first drink, this is the place to go. After waiting 20 minutes, I just left.

After our bike ride, we had dinner here on the terrace. The pancakes were tasty and good! The service was friendly and attentive. Highly recommended, and we will definitely come back again!

A nice little place near the museum. Unfortunately, the food was a complete disaster. Both pancakes were still soggy/raw inside. The bacon was barely cooked and more limp than crispy. There was no salt in the food. The service was friendly. Although both pancakes were returned almost untouched and only slightly torn, and we complained, we were still charged the full price, which is not only disappointing but also a bit cheeky. They did offer to remake the food, but by then we had lost our appetite. Thanks, but no thanks. We won't be back.

A beautifully designed restaurant with delicious pancakes. All pancakes are available as part of a set menu with a side of pudding and ice cream – highly recommended. They also have a wide selection of beers. We had a lovely afternoon.

Nice place to grab a quick bite or drink. Reasonably priced and friendly service. The kids' menu is called a "cuddle menu," and they actually get a stuffed animal with it. That was a hit with my son. The location is good, on a lovely little square.

Great, clean restaurant in a lovely location right near the museum and playground. The service was good; not everyone spoke German, but communication in English was easy. The food was good. The pancakes were very large and looked delicious, but unfortunately, we didn't order them. Next time, though ;-) The restaurant has a great atmosphere and air conditioning. There's also nice outdoor seating.

Super tasty food, lots of choice, friendly service, not expensive (kids' menu for 12.90 including a big stuffed animal! And various options for value menus. Ice creams are big and very tasty and lots of choice for drinks, many beer and soft drink options.

The pancakes were delicious, but serving such a simple dish well over an hour and a half after taking the order (after having asked) is a sign of pure amateurism. And then to top it all off, they indicated that the kitchen was busy (which was true). But then the table opposite us received their pancakes right after us, while they had barely finished eating. Never again. Certainly not with 2 small children.

I went out for dinner with my 12-year-old daughter. Although it was very busy, the atmosphere was good and cozy. We had a table by the window. The service was very friendly, towards my daughter as well. The food was very tasty; my daughter had a pancake and afterwards a kids' menu with fries (for the stuffed animal, haha), and I had a very delicious steak. All in all: A success, and I will definitely go back again with one of my other children. Beautiful location, good food, and affordable too. Friendly staff, which is also not unimportant.

After waiting half an hour for our pancakes, they turned out to be disappointing as well! Too thick and not fully cooked. After a few bites, there was a burning taste, as if the chili had gone too far. It bothered me for a very long time. I read this in earlier reviews too. Strange, isn't it? Too bad, because 5 years ago we were very satisfied with this restaurant.

For a kids' menu of 11 euros, there was really so little fries; normally, with 3 kids' menus, we can feed 4 children. Our little one of 1.5 years old snatched a few fries, and we were able to order extra fries. The price was very expensive; we spent 90 euros: 3 kids' menus, 1 pancake, 1 menu.

We ate pancakes here a few times last year during a holiday at Landal de Vers. We were very satisfied at the time, so when we went away for a weekend to the same park last month, we went to this restaurant again. What a disappointment that was! We had already noticed that the pancakes looked very different from last year (very yellow in color). After a few bites, I thought, "What a burning taste I'm tasting," and when I looked under the pancake, it was pitch black. It should never have been served! We reported this, of course, and a new one was prepared, but the whole atmosphere of eating together is gone when your dining companion has long finished eating and you are sitting there waiting. Moreover, the owner snapped at a young waitress that she was never allowed to walk back from the outdoor terrace empty-handed. You don't do that in the presence of guests! We then spoke to the owner as well, explaining that we didn't like it compared to our visits last year. Yes, they were using different flour with more eggs these days. And after an internal test among staff, they found this one the tastiest, he said. We had to make do with this; we paid the full price, but received no cup of coffee or anything similar as service. We were disappointed and certainly will not be coming back here.

Upon entering, we were asked about drinks once, but after that, no one came before us. The staff stood around doing nothing multiple times, so we had plenty of opportunities. After that, we ordered food, and all the food was brought. We were missing 2 dishes and pointed out what we were missing. They then came to bring one dish, and we mentioned again that we were still missing one. Almost everyone had finished eating by then, when they came to ask which sauce was needed with it (we had already mentioned this the two times before). We then stated that we didn't want the food anymore because almost everyone had finished by then. There was no apology to be had, and the owner was also very unpleasant.

Nice promotion, where you can eat for 32 euros for two. The soup was tasty, although the bowl was quite small. Schnitzel with fries was fine. Finally, a large ice cream; you really had to try hard to finish it. Drinks were not included. In the end, it comes to about 25 euros p.p., and it is well worth it. Unfortunately, the promotion ends on April 1st (and that is no joke).

The pancake quality is very poor. Soggy, enormous, enormous, enormous amounts of cheese, almost no other flavor left (even on the other pancake); we eat the combo we ordered almost every other month all over the country, so I would really do something about it. The service was good and the staff were very friendly. We could do takeout, which was very convenient.

We didn't have a reservation. This initially seemed like a problem, but they arranged something so we could stay anyway. The food is delicious, the service friendly. The prices are as high as you like. From plain pancakes to prawns, they have it all.

A fantastic location if you're staying at Landal De Vers. This is already the third time we've eaten here. A delicious three-course meal that was excellently prepared...with super friendly staff.

Snitzel from a deep fryer, greasy with a black edge (better at a cafeteria). Gulasch soup, doesn't taste like goulash soup. I don't need to come back.

The food was delicious and the price-quality ratio was excellent. Downsides: Upon arrival, we were asked what we wanted to drink. After that, we weren't asked again. A waste of money! The waitresses were very friendly and helpful. The dips for the coupes are added by hand. Everyone sits with their hands in the container. Not hygienic.

The food was delicious! My girlfriend had a pancake, I had a schnitzel with pepper sauce. The desserts were also great!

After visiting the museum, I had a cup of coffee. Although the coffee arrived promptly, it was lukewarm. The coffee was also quite weak, but that might just be my personal taste. The liqueur was excellent, delicious with real whipped cream.

Within sight of the War Museum, delicious snacks, quick service, moderate prices for the Netherlands. A great place to stop for a bite! Again and again...

There are better restaurants. Prices are a bit high for very small portions of soup. The ambiance also seems a bit dated.

Good value for money, the highlight for the children is the plush toy menu, consisting of fries, nuggets or frikandel, a soft ice cream and a stuffed toy (7 different ones to choose from)

Before we went into the museum, we wanted to get something to eat and drink. Unfortunately, we had to go inside to order drinks ourselves. After ordering a fried egg sandwich with bacon, I was served fried eggs with bacon that was overcooked. Strange that they served that. See picture. Too bad.

My girlfriend was craving pancakes, I was craving fries with a frikandel... where else can you find that? Well, here! And it's delicious too! This is a really cozy and delicious cafe! Highly recommended! We had a spicy chicken pancake! You can do a lot with it, or not! But this one was absolutely TOP-NOT-SIZED!🙌! Absolutely fantastic and completely gone!😜

Excellent lunch and dinner menu, with pancakes as well as other dishes and set menus. The food was delicious. They also have a wide selection of beers. I'll definitely come back.

Went here yesterday for the umpteenth time. This time for lunch and drinks after a walk. The staff was very friendly. Wide selection of food! Affordable, plentiful, and delicious. It's a great place to spend time. Especially lovely in spring/summer; the terrace is always pleasant. We spent quite a while there. You won't be looked away. Very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. I'll definitely be back.

We dined with 4 adults and 4 children (ages 3-7). Two of our children have celiac disease and require gluten-free meals. This wasn't a problem at all, and they were very accommodating. The pancakes were delicious, generously topped, and generously sized. The desserts were also impressive. All in all, a very good experience and a delicious meal.

Two adults and two small children weren't allowed to sit in a three-person seat. Pulling out a chair wasn't allowed. Sitting on a lap wasn't allowed either. As flexible as a roll of barbed wire.

We had a wonderful meal here. A pancake house, as you'd expect, cozy and welcoming. Fun for the whole family; the kids had a great time playing and even got a big hug with the children's menu, which was a real hit. The pancakes were delicious, and the other dishes were also excellent. The beer menu is surprisingly extensive. The terrace is beautiful and spacious, and the air conditioning inside makes it pleasant even on hot days. The staff is friendly and attentive. Definitely recommended if you're in Overloon.

Actually, it was just great. Nice patio and clean, tidy place. The food was good and the cocktails were delicious. The service was more than friendly. Enjoyed it.

The food was delicious. Every now and then, we always enjoy a pancake. Sometimes you need two to be satisfied, but these were filling enough. Very well-cooked, we could eat in peace, and there was plenty of room to sit with our little one.

I'm going to have to give 1 star as we were a group of 9 and 5 dishes came out at the same time and 4 of us sat with nothing. Two of us eventually got food 10 mins after everyone else had finished. Then we were still waiting on the final two dishes and the very rude waitress tried to claim we told her to cancel the last two dishes. Then 2 dishes finally turned up 45 minutes late and one of them was the wrong dish. The waitress was extremely aggressive and rude. This was the most shockingly bad service I've ever experienced anywhere I've been in the world. To top it all off the manager came out and instead of apologising for the mix up and horrendous service he told us to never come back!!! When THEY were in the wrong, not us!!! We were absolutely appalled at this unbelievable attitude. Also, there were three parrots that had no toys or any kind of enrichment at all. So cruel. Buy them some toys!!!

Had a really nice meal after a visit to the war museum.

I was at my chair but not yet seated and they were already ready to ask what I wanted to drink. My ordered Trappist had not yet been brought and another employee asked what I wanted to eat. I do not mind speed but if I then have to wait more than half an hour for the ordered (bread board) a bit strange and no it was not really busy.

Great restaurant. Reservations are recommended, otherwise there is a big chance that there will be no table.

A very hospitable (real Brabant) cafe. Cozy terrace, located on the square that leads to the Overloon War Museum. This cafe really has something. A very nice welcome, good products and nice to sit.

It's not all that great, but it's certainly not bad. If you have been to the museum, this is a nice addition. We wouldn't make a detour for it.

Nice to have something to eat after a museum visit. Friendly service. Neat toilets. Food not spectacular. Chips and dips could be so much better. Tortilla chips in the oven with some cheese. The cheese sauce that came with it was really dirty. It took a long time before we received all the drinks dishes. Clumsy sauce containers and no forks and enough napkins. Drink prices are expensive unfortunately.

Ordered a veggienacho pancake today and even mentioned the number. Still got one with minced meat. Finally asked if there was meat in it and it did. Received money back, but as a vegetarian I didn't feel good about it.

Great tent. I can't make much more of it. It's fine. Handy next to the museum. Lots of pancakes on the menu, but that is also part of a pancake restaurant.

The pancakes had a reasonable taste but were very filling. They have many combinations. It is strange that a glass of tap water to increase medication has been converted into a Spa blue for 3.20 euros without asking. Not neat.
