The food was delicious! My girlfriend had a pancake, I had a schnitzel with pepper sauce. The desserts were also great!

After visiting the museum, I had a cup of coffee. Although the coffee arrived promptly, it was lukewarm. The coffee was also quite weak, but that might just be my personal taste. The liqueur was excellent, delicious with real whipped cream.

Within sight of the War Museum, delicious snacks, quick service, moderate prices for the Netherlands. A great place to stop for a bite! Again and again...

There are better restaurants. Prices are a bit high for very small portions of soup. The ambiance also seems a bit dated.

The food was truly delicious! As requested, the kids' meal came with their appetizer. The service was good. Fast and efficient! There's a play area for the kids. Highly recommended!

Before we went into the museum, we wanted to get something to eat and drink. Unfortunately, we had to go inside to order drinks ourselves. After ordering a fried egg sandwich with bacon, I was served fried eggs with bacon that was overcooked. Strange that they served that. See picture. Too bad.

Sat comfortably on the veranda after visiting the museum. Great atmosphere and service. Playground equipment for the kids. Excellent lunch and dinner menu, with pancakes as well as other dishes and set menus. The food was delicious. They also have a wide selection of beers. I'll definitely come back.

Went here yesterday for the umpteenth time. This time for lunch and drinks after a walk. The staff was very friendly. Wide selection of food! Affordable, plentiful, and delicious. It's a great place to spend time. Especially lovely in spring/summer; the terrace is always pleasant. We spent quite a while there. You won't be looked away. Very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. I'll definitely be back.

We dined with 4 adults and 4 children (ages 3-7). Two of our children have celiac disease and require gluten-free meals. This wasn't a problem at all, and they were very accommodating. Two adults and two small children weren't allowed to sit in a three-person seat. Pulling out a chair wasn't allowed. Sitting on a lap wasn't allowed either. As flexible as a roll of barbed wire.

We had a wonderful meal here. A pancake house, as you'd expect, cozy and welcoming. Fun for the whole family; the kids had a great time playing and even got a big hug with the children's menu, which was a real hit. The pancakes were delicious, and the other dishes were also excellent. The beer menu is surprisingly extensive. The terrace is beautiful and spacious, and the air conditioning inside makes it pleasant even on hot days. The staff is friendly and attentive. Definitely recommended if you're in Overloon.

Actually, it was just great. Nice patio and clean, tidy place. The food was good and the cocktails were delicious. The service was more than friendly. Enjoyed it.

The food was delicious. Every now and then, we always enjoy a pancake. Sometimes you need two to be satisfied, but these were filling enough. Very well-cooked, we could eat in peace, and there was plenty of room to sit with our little one.

I'm going to have to give 1 star as we were a group of 9 and 5 dishes came out at the same time and 4 of us sat with nothing. Two of us eventually got food 10 mins after everyone else had finished. Then we were still waiting on the final two dishes and the very rude waitress tried to claim we told her to cancel the last two dishes. Then 2 dishes finally turned up 45 minutes late and one of them was the wrong dish. The waitress was extremely aggressive and rude. This was the most shockingly bad service I've ever experienced anywhere I've been in the world. To top it all off the manager came out and instead of apologising for the mix up and horrendous service he told us to never come back!!! When THEY were in the wrong, not us!!! We were absolutely appalled at this unbelievable attitude. Also, there were three parrots that had no toys or any kind of enrichment at all. So cruel. Buy them some toys!!!

You can sit outside or in.. food is delicious.. service was quick.. would go back again..

Had a really nice meal after a visit to the war museum.

I was at my chair but not yet seated and they were already ready to ask what I wanted to drink. My ordered Trappist had not yet been brought and another employee asked what I wanted to eat. I do not mind speed but if I then have to wait more than half an hour for the ordered (bread board) a bit strange and no it was not really busy.

Great restaurant. Reservations are recommended, otherwise there is a big chance that there will be no table.

A very hospitable (real Brabant) cafe. Cozy terrace, located on the square that leads to the Overloon War Museum. This cafe really has something. A very nice welcome, good products and nice to sit.

It's not all that great, but it's certainly not bad. If you have been to the museum, this is a nice addition. We wouldn't make a detour for it.

Nice to have something to eat after a museum visit. Friendly service. Neat toilets. Food not spectacular. Chips and dips could be so much better. Tortilla chips in the oven with some cheese. The cheese sauce that came with it was really dirty. It took a long time before we received all the drinks dishes. Clumsy sauce containers and no forks and enough napkins. Drink prices are expensive unfortunately.

Spent four days in Overloon. Had dinner at Museumzicht three evenings. The food was excellent, the service super friendly and the atmosphere good.

Nice place with cozy terrace, good food, good prices

I have not been inside, but outside there is a beautiful terrace between the trees and a shelter where you can sit in a nice sheltered area. I had a 12 hour (small cup of soup, 3 slices of bread, 2 fried eggs, a croquette and raw vegetables) ice-tea green and a cassis for less than €20. It is (in combination with the museum) a nice place to spend your day.

Had a lovely lunch with the three of us, the food was well prepared and served hot. Staff was friendly and prompt. We enjoyed the area, next to the war museum and the forest.

Spontaneously had dinner here after a day at the zoo. Very friendly staff. Delicious food for a decent price. We had homemade stew (recommended), schnitzel and a children's pancake menu, where the children receive a stuffed animal as a gift and an ice cream. It's that little bit extra that they do for you here. The desserts are delicious and if you order a coffee with liqueur, you will receive it on a tray with all kinds of tasty treats. For the children there is a playground outside and a play corner inside. The owner also came by for a nice chat. Here a customer is really a customer instead of a number. We will definitely come back here.

Had something to eat here after the mountain bike ride. The steak was a bit too tough on the outside and I thought the schnitzel was very small and also too salty with the pepper sauce and the fried mushroom. Service friendly and fast. A mistake was made but it was resolved properly.
