Tasty fries, quick to prepare and not super expensive.

A solid 5 stars. My order arrived cold. Why 5 stars, you might ask? This place knows how it works. I made a quick call, and a new order was prepared for me immediately. Delivered super fast, and deliciously warm. The food was also top quality. Many thanks for the excellent tableware. And see you next time. Edit: I retract my opinion about this place. And especially the tableware. You call because you have been waiting for more than an hour and a half. And I understand that it is Sneekweek, so it can be busy. But don't say that I am calling because I ordered 25 minutes ago. And don't even know how the order was placed yourself. You have lost your credibility with me. I will never order here again.

What an absurdly aggressive bald guy behind the counter. He mishears my order, points it out to him in a normal way, he screams, throws the food around, and drops it. Just ignore him when paying; I've never seen such a trashy snack bar.

Absolutely terrible, waited about 1.5 hours for my fries and shawarma, then it was cold and I threw up. I called but they said Thuisbezorgd would handle the refund, but I haven't received anything back. Never again! Yuck.

I had to wait a whopping 2 hours for my food. Even though I called multiple times, it took an incredibly long time. This is the longest wait I have ever experienced. Moreover, by the time it arrived, the food was ice-cold and tasteless.

If you order something, they call 1.5 hours later to say it's no longer available... It's really gone downhill in the last few months, which is a shame! And still no food!

Unfortunately, I had to change my review, from the best shawarma place above the Afsluitdijk to a terrible place. You can no longer order normally through Thuisbezorgd, and without selecting a drink, you can't order fries, shawarma, or anything similar. Honey mustard sauce disappeared from the menu? The portion size seems to have been halved as well. I've been a loyal customer for years (almost weekly), but I'll never go here again.

We regularly pop in for a bite to eat at De Mangerie. If you ask me, it's the best shawarma in the world with the best sauce. I'd say name a better one. My kids also love the frikandel and fries. We're happy with the hospitality and the good service, and it's always a pleasant place to go. All in all, excellent and definitely recommended.

Been a regular customer for years, the staff is becoming increasingly unfriendly and they are very difficult to reach by phone, only to get a big mouth and not be helped, the fries were so greasy and so was the shawarma, it was just dripping off. A few years ago they were much, much better.

Been a customer for years. Super customer unfriendly staff. Portions are getting smaller. Fries Shawarma with raw vegetables gave us a stomach ache. You no longer get plate service when you eat there. Very thirsty after eating, too much MSG or salt? No, you really don't have to anymore!

Twice already I didn't get fries at the hair salon. while it is clearly indicated that it should be added. It was also on the receipt the second time. Unfriendly on the phone and in a rush.

It has been a place where they prepare delicious fries shoarma for decades. Wonderful after going out (especially Sneekweek), but also when you are touring by car or motorcycle. Atmosphere is normal/good for a cafeteria. Service is also good.

food is fine, milkshakes are very bad.. also very difficult to reach by telephone, after a lot of pain and effort someone got on the phone and indicated that the milkshake was not a milkshake, we received a new one but the same story... not cold so watery and not tasty... I was told that this was their milkshakes and I had to make do with that.. We often get milkshakes and these were definitely different, but they didn't care about that.. I have lost a regular customer here and I hope that many people read this and think twice before ordering milkshakes here...

Crappy food. Since new employees have started working, the food is not what it should be. Mangerie has gone from a 10 to a -1 if you ask me, also way too expensive and half of it is not delivered. Even a toddler can bake better.

Ordered food at 5:11 PM and asked for it to be delivered at 6:45 PM due to a break at work. The lady on the phone was already unfriendly and in a hurry. Then no food at 6:45 pm. Called yes, 5 minutes there with argument, we are also busy. It was delivered at 7:15 PM and it was all lukewarm. It's a bit of a shame that it all has to be so unfriendly.

The fries were superbly prepared. The veal croquette was super tasty. The service behind the counter was fun and very friendly. The tables and benches outside would have appreciated a washcloth.

The fries could not be placed separately in a bag with the shawarma, that was no longer possible. When I got home the fries were limp and soft. Forks are also no longer included. You have to ask extra for that...no, unfortunately the service is deteriorating!!

I walked past the mangerie and a young girl (probably an employee) was being shouted at like crazy. How unprofessional, almost wanted to storm in. I have reported this to authorities, the food is also unacceptable.

Ordered shawarma fries. It only arrived after more than two hours, without even reporting the reason for the delay. The fries were bland, the shawarma was tasteless. The included garlic sauce was no longer good. There was a dried up and discolored edge of sauce in the container. We will NEVER order from here again.

Tasty! I had read in the reviews that the shawarma here was supposed to be delicious and that's right👍 the fries were also perfectly cooked.

As one of the largest companies in Sneek, we often order on Thursday evenings. Food varies in quality, the temperature is sometimes just lukewarm. What the work floor really grumbles about is the lack of ordered snacks, which they deliver neatly, but by then the break is often already over. Hopefully this will be improved in the future, there is already talk of not ordering here anymore.
