Eetcounter Koning Bedum in Wijk 00

Today, September 4, 2026, I picked up 4 portions of fries and 4 egg balls. First of all, the price: 27.50 euros, that is quite steep, but okay, so be it. However, the fries, both the crispy and regular ones, are a soggy mess. Downright bad. The egg ball has by now become a tasteless ball that is really nothing more than an egg with a breadcrumb crust. The ragout is nowhere to be found. In any case, I won't be coming back. When they had just taken it over, it was still fine, but this is more than worthless.

I track my calories and an app found this restaurant for me. The app calculated the calories after a photo of the frikandel with onions. It contained enough protein for my day and the portion was just right. The place is neat and efficient.

The food tastes good and is well cooked! Very fast service; if you call ahead, it's ready the moment you arrive. And it's a nice cafeteria!

Ordered, picked up, and had a great meal! Neatly packed in a box so I could take everything with me! Top service!

These lovely people took my allergies seriously. They took plenty of time to go over the products with me. After I was caught in heavy traffic and arrived late, they had already called me to check if everything was going to be okay. Great!

Ordered a hot meat sandwich. There was little variety in the sauce and it was charged extra. Once the sandwich was served, it was a baguette with a little meat and a lot of sauce. Whereas the picture on their menu shows it with a load of lettuce under the meat. The bread had been in the oven too long and was too hard; the meat consisted of 4 thin slices of rolled roast that you could barely taste. Not recommended.

Friendly and helpful staff. The interior is very outdated. The food quality varies greatly. Sometimes it's very good, other times it's seriously subpar.

While I'd always been extremely satisfied with Eetcounter Koning Bedum in the past, I was incredibly disappointed today. Upon entering, I saw that the cafeteria had already been taken over by new owners. Out of doubt, I ordered the usual eierbal (egg ball) and fries with mayo. Unfortunately, the eierbal was definitely not what I was used to from Eetcounter Koning Bedum, and I personally didn't like it at all. The fries seemed half-baked, and half of my order wasn't cooked long enough. I won't be ordering food from Eetcounter Koning Bedum again anytime soon, and I'm incredibly disappointed to see that a once-great cafeteria has become a huge flop.

The taste was fantastic! The service was friendly, the atmosphere was great, and I couldn't fault it. I've been putting off having a tasty snack for months, and I've been craving ras fries for so long; I'm disappointed with barely a child's portion! Such a shame, especially because they tasted so good :(

Unfortunately, it wasn't great. My wife wanted the egg ball, which was tasty but lukewarm. The fries weren't very hot and were limp, and the rendang wasn't very good, and all that for €8. And then I had to pay an extra €0.50 for the nuts on ice cream, just barely a teaspoon of them. So, back to our usual lunch and dinner.

We placed a large order and it was ready quickly for collection. When we arrived home we had a delicious meal, really great! 10/10. We will order here more often. Thank you!

This food counter has a lot of variety on the menu. Delicious sorbets. And delicious chicken!

Nice lady and luckily everything is still the same as it was, but as a very important tip I would like to say that the fries and snacks should be cooked longer, because the fries and snack were far from done. Fries and snack not crispy.

Unfortunately, there is nothing left of the old King. Fried in old fat, rock hard fries. Exploded croquettes. No, unfortunately we won't be there anymore...

Het eten is goed , helaas word er wel overbodig veel saus gebruikt. Ook is de patat erg slap en proeft het erg naar vet. In de bijlage heb ik nog wat foto’s toegevoegd.

nieuwe eigenaren erg vriendelijk, eten is precies hetzelfde gebleven en snel klaar. veel beter dan de tokkies bij cafetaria shoppyland!!

Patat en snacks als vanouds lekker. Hele lieve dame die ons help. De nieuwe Koning is weer net zo favoriet als de oude Koning.

Verbaasde mij over de vlotte bediening. Heb er in het verleden wel eens langer gewacht.

Bestel je patat met saus en de snack zonder. Krijg je bij beiden geen saus. Helaas slechte communicatie mochten terug komen voor de saus maar vergeten dat alles dan koud is.

Prima patat en snacks. Aardige mensen

goed eten. op vrijdag toch snelle bediening. beetje muziek is aardig.

Vlotte bediening en heerlijk eten

Het is lekker eten, maar wel jammer dat ze op zondag dicht zijn, en om 20:00 al sluiten.

Lekker eten met volle bakjes voor je geld!! Heerlijk.

Jammer dat ze niet luisteren wat je vraagt. Als ze de patat langer er in willen doen, doen ze dit helaas niet. Was gewoon slappe patat. Heel erg jammer een tegenvaller dus

Heerlijk en snel zoals altijd. Het eten us heerlijk en wordt snel bereid. De personeel is vriendelijk ook nog. Echt een 5 sterren.

1 van de betere, zo niet, beste cafetaria in deze omgeving. Vriendelijke en snelle bediening. En ook niet onbelangrijk, hoge kwaliteit van producten.

Snelle service....lekkere friet.

Ideaal als je later op de avond wat wilt eten want ze sluiten pas om 22.00 uur. Ik woon in Uithuizen daar is alles veel vroeger dicht en dan is Bedum de snelste optie.
