Better chip shop in the space environment

Our go-to place for a greasy meal in Malden and the surrounding area. The menu is so restaurant-like, so much so that you almost feel overwhelmed by the choice. I usually go for the pulled pork kapsalon. It's a real hit. The portions are thankfully reasonably sized, so you really get your money's worth.

Lots of variety, friendly staff, and large portions. The salads are also delicious! Neat and clean cafeteria with plenty of seating and privacy! "De Heikant" is definitely worth a visit!

It's still a snack bar, but one with five stars. Extensive menu, good quality, excellent service. And great seating.

A beautifully maintained and spacious restaurant. A handy ordering kiosk is available for busy times. Very friendly and helpful staff. You can dine in or take away. The menu is well-stocked with everything you'd expect in a cafeteria, and there's a wide selection of snacks. They even have pizzas and shawarma, which are excellent! All dishes look well-presented and taste delicious. The fries are perfectly cooked, nice and crispy, and not greasy. Parking is easy in front of the restaurant and, if it's busy, behind it. The rear parking lot, which lacks a back entrance, gets a bit dark in the evenings, making it particularly unsuitable for older people. The price-quality ratio is excellent. We'll definitely be back.

We got the wrong milkshake. We complained, and the guy himself said it was the wrong one, but we didn't get a new one! It was a waste of money... ridiculous if you make a mistake yourself.

They have a wide selection here, offering generous portions, but for those over 65, it's definitely too large and therefore quite expensive. It might be a good idea to also offer a small menu. First of all, it always looks clean and tidy here.

After years of consistently good and delicious food, tonight was very disappointing. It wasn't hot, the fries weren't what we ordered, and the chicken was a complete waste of money. All in all, not good value for money, a real shame.

On the way back from Nijmegen to our accommodation, we stopped here for a burger. Unfortunately, our dog wasn't allowed in the restaurant. We had two menus: a double cheeseburger and a burger. Special requests (without onions) were accommodated without any problems. The burgers were large, the fries were plentiful, and the salad was tasty. The only downside was that the buns were unfortunately cold. The value for money is excellent!

The five of us enjoyed different daily menus at the restaurant. The service was very friendly. The food was perfect. The price-quality ratio was excellent. The accompanying salad was also fantastic. We will definitely go back. Highly recommended for a family meal at a reasonable price.

I've ordered from this store four times in the past. Three times, something was missing. When I call about it, they always tell me they'll write it down for next time or that I can pick it up right away. No apology. Today I told them to just bring it, but they refuse. My daughter just went to pick it up, and even if you pick it up right away, they don't apologize. I would have preferred to give no stars for the service... You don't have to be strict about pickup times.

What a ridiculous price for a small cup of coffee in a cardboard cup that wasn't even filled: €3.80! Where do you get those ridiculous prices? Shame on you! €3.10, I don't know where you got that from.

Delicious food and good service We had a comfortable seat

The first order was perfect, but I ordered again five days later. The fries were soggy, and the food was lukewarm.

Great, clean cafeteria/eatery. Plenty of seating inside and outside. Cozy corners and high and low tables. You can order at the counter or with the QR code, and they'll bring it to you. Meal salads and platters are neatly served on plates. The portions are generous, and there's plenty of choice. The carpaccio and surf & turf salads, as well as the Limburg schnitzel and shawarma platter, were delicious, although we often share half to give ourselves more variety. The fries are delicious, and the standard portion of vegetables that comes with the platter is also above average. Drinks come in cans and bottles; you pay a deposit, but who takes their cans home to return them? Having to clear your own tray makes it feel more like a cafeteria. The predominantly young staff could smile a bit more 😁, but all in all, highly recommended!

Despite the large crowds due to the Nijmegen Four Days Marches, the snacks we ordered were served quickly. This was partly thanks to the well-functioning team.

I don't normally write reviews, but this takeout was so bad that I wanted to share something. First of all, Maikel, the employee behind the fryer, is simply not friendly; he completely ignores you if you try to chat while waiting. Anyway, I come for the food, so that's the most important thing. This, too, is seriously subpar. Half-cooked spring rolls, fries from another order in your container of sauce, chicken nuggets instead of chicken fingers. And yes, chicken is chicken, but you order and pay for something, so you expect to get what you ordered. Now, you could say: it's busy during the four-day week (July 16, 2025), but when I picked up my food at 9:30 PM, there was absolutely no one in the snack bar. Too bad! Last time for us.

We had dinner at Heikant with a large group. The service was friendly and fast. The portions were quite large and the quality was good. The gluten-free pizza was also very tasty.

This is not just a cafeteria, but a top quality eatery with unique dishes but where you can also just get your classic snack bar food. There really is something for everyone. Employees always work hard and with a smile. De Heikant is also one of the few businesses that have the famous jamballa sauce in their assortment, definitely recommended with fries or a sashlick! In my opinion this is the best quality eatery/eatery/snack bar in the entire Nijmegen region and is definitely worth a visit. it can be very busy on Saturdays especially when Nec plays at home, if you mind this please take that into account. It does show how popular our Heikant is in the region!😁👍🏻

This cafeteria is oh so delicious I recently went here to eat and had the southern chicken with jamballa sauce. What a combination this dish is for me #1 in the category kapsalons and dishes. Also the choice of hertog jan and heineken I always drink heineken before the meal and hertogus jan after the meal. All in all a top restaurant with local hospitality.

Normally we eat here once a month, but after today never again I ordered a Kapsalon and it does not say on the menu that they put garlic on it, but it does say on the menu that they add garlic to other dishes. Said that I don't like garlic, had to order a new one and received it, but had to pay the entire amount extra €10.70 And being able to throw away 10.70. Really bad, never going there again Then put it on the menu or at least ask.

Good location, nice appearance and plenty of seating and waiting area. It's a neater place, not a neglected chip shop, and prices are low. Be sure to check your order before you walk out the door, especially with drinks.

Too expensive cafeteria, many people behind the counter, youth from Malden, a lot of messing around, Turkish owner often running around grumpy, too much choice, really a hundred dishes, fries too weak, snacks, good bread for the shawarma, no pita but too thick Turkish bread, very unfortunate, some staff very grubby, unkempt, always with fingers on greasy glasses, everything by hand, then grabbing and feeling strange type

Het eten is prima, maar als je met zijn 4en gaat eten, wil je gezamenlijk kunnen eten. Helaas was het zo dat de 1 zijn broodje shoarma had, 20 minuten daarna komen de pizza's pas. Serieus waardeloos !! Dan kan het eten oke zijn, maar voor ons niet weer.

They have great fries. One of the best, for 8 euro you can have a huge plate full of fries which no where you can get for that price. The only downside i have for this place is that the drink are almost 2x the normal price. I would recommend this place for anyone to try 👍🏻

We arrived late at night with 3 people, the staff was very friendly.

It is a pity if you order together via the QR code and it is pizza and pork tenderloin dish that the one with pizza is served first and the one with the pork tenderloin is forgotten for 30 minutes. Later I still had nothing even though the pizza had already been consumed.... I filed a complaint about this and asked for my money back! No compensation, only the money for the pork tenderloin was refunded.

They have a lot of choice! Usually not a good sign, but here everything is really good. The meal salads are highly recommended. Also for the big eater. Very tasty!

Good fries special with a good amount of sauce, the satay sauce is also very tasty! And the macaroni disc is very nice to try, but it is not very special. We had to wait 20 minutes, which I thought was a bit long for this.

Normally very good and tasty. Went yesterday and, among other things, had a chicken snitzel menu. Well you almost didn't see the chicken snitzel as small as it was and then very pricey at €14.60.

I ordered food there, it took a long time for it to arrive. We live a few minutes away. When I got home there was sauce on the chicken döner, I had specifically said without sauce and everything was cold and even some of the fries were undercooked. When I call, the gentleman says nothing has been said about the sauce, I say I have said it myself, but okay, that's a no-brainer game. I tell them that the fries are cold. The gentleman on the phone says he can't make it any warmer. I assume that if I get fries and live 5 minutes away from you, I will just get warm fries. Can't do anything about it, says sir, can't make it warmer. So there will be no solution! Pay a lot of money and get cold fries and wrong order back. Very bad! The gentleman was not friendly on the phone either!

I've been coming here for take-away food for years and sometimes eat it in the restaurant itself when I'm with someone. Very satisfied with the price/quality ratio. You get a large portion in your bowl. The only downside I think is that if you pick it up, you get a lot less than if you have it served. Maybe there is a reason for that, I don't know. Suggestion tip: On a "super" fries it would also be nice to have sauce on the frikandel at the bottom. Other than that, very satisfied and I hope the heikant continues for a long time!

You have to order food via a QR code when you take a table. This will not be easy for older people. It is not clear to us whether you can also order at the counter and then take a seat at a table. We placed an order online that we would pick up at 7:00 PM. A pizza cappacio was ordered. When my daughter wanted to pick up the order at 7:00 PM, she had to wait another 10 minutes, which is not a problem in itself as it was busy. However, she saw that the pizza was ready in the box all the time. When we got home the cappacio pizza was cold. It was really hard and cold and therefore not tasty. We called to report this but I was turned away with the words: a cappacio pizza is allowed. be cold because the meat may not be placed on a hot pizza. I understand that a pizza must cool 1 minute after it comes out of the oven before it is topped, but not standing on the railing for 10 minutes where reservations are picked up. I feel Not taken seriously at all and I am not happy with this service.
