Super cool that they ask if you want the sauce next to or on the fries; but of course it would also be ideal if this was listened to. I actually have nothing to say about the fries, mainly because I'm not even sure if they were supposed to be fries. I kept finding black ones that I think had been in a bath of fat for half an hour. Furthermore, the bottom was filled with 3cm deep pieces that were smaller than the named layer itself was deep. The fries that still looked 'okay' also had a strange taste, so even the little hope I had was not fulfilled. The 'Ardennes Satay', which is supposed to be pork with bacon in between was swapped with a 'Belse Satay', this wouldn't have been so bad if the onion that takes the place of the bacon had also been prepared nicely. Unfortunately nice and crispy on the outside because it was burnt, but on the inside it was limp and raw. For 3 euros I would have expected multiple chopsticks or at least some sauce. They forgot the cutlery/napkins that were asked for. Also no receipt with the order or any indication of what you ordered. Probably because they are so ashamed that they don't want to be found. P.S. I ordered here with an Uber Eats promotion where we get the same thing a second time, now we are not really eager to eat here again next time, not even for free.

I went to eat here and the people are so antisocial, rude, the husband of the woman behind the counter even became aggressive because I had an altercation with the lady. Very disinterested in the work, no heart for the business or customers. Yes, only those who know themselves, there are tons of better places than this in terms of staff and food. The lady is very smart and more concerned with other things than her work, the rest there are all supporters. Not a place to eat quietly or be treated well at all, it even became racist, all while providing a service; customer friendliness and food a big -1

Popped in and had a blast. Very Low Key and With Chill Vibes. The Mayonnaise is Made from Scratch and is Absolutely Delicious. Definitely Recommend to Anyone Looking to relax and have some delicious Chips.

If only I had read the reviews first, I just moved to the area. And perhaps the neighboring chip shop thought it would have some bacon and a lot of good fries nearby (because I like to eat only good fries and be prepared to go to my favorite fresh place) but this is really bad. First of all, no fresh fries, as claimed, no fresh fat, really haven't eaten anything like that for a long time. Chicken burger sandwich was literally a sandwich with a black fried chicken burger, no sauce or anything appropriate. I just think it's brutal, almost criminal, for people to deliver this quality. Do something with it...I don't think it will really come in the way it should/should. And change.....I'm not a people hater, that's why I tell my story. The owner also wants to insult you or make you feel bad, but I am sure that you will feel even better if you make improvements and people will appreciate you for that.

Their own mayonnaise (recipe from their predecessors) is truly delicious. Fries and snacks tasted and smelled like fish. I was no longer allowed to eat my food inside because that is not allowed between 7 and 1930. I was not told this in advance! So I had dinner outside in the cold....

Recently went to this very cozy restaurant and had fries, a Berehap, two frikandels, Mexicano and a croquette. Everything was delicious and the owner told me that he makes the croquettes himself. Well, you can taste that too. It's been a long time since I've eaten such a tasty croquette. The best man also makes the mayonnaise himself and that is also noticeable. You have to have tons of respect just for the intensity with which he whips entire buckets of mayo. I would also like to compliment the owners on the excellent baking method they use, you can recognize a real fryer by the fact that he/she can use a perfect baking method. This means that they know what they are doing. Only found two hairs in my jar of satay sauce, but that didn't spoil the fun.

Just ordered fries with them. They came with old, moldy mayonnaise and dry fries. Cutlery was placed on the table instead of on a napkin or plate. Unhygienic and definitely not tasty. The croquette sandwich didn't taste fresh either.

Well, it used to be good here. Nowadays the fries are really not good anymore. Very greasy and tough. Unfortunately an ingredient for stomach aches. But fortunately, throwing everything out once at the top of the pot solves the problem. Not recommended!!

If you're on the fence about going in here...just don't. The fries are waiting all day above the fryer to be ruined. They are relatively thin fries, but are fried limp (too low temperature). Stew is mediocre (more pulled pork in sauce that is too thin and too light). Homemade mayonnaise is nothing, this is regular mayonnaise with sugar and a little paprika powder. Croquette nothing special. And expensive almost 9 euros for all this (for 1 person!). You wonder what you can ruin in a chip shop, well this.

The tastiest fries with stew and with home-made mayonnaise, wonderfully customer-friendly and respect everyone, such a chip shop, keep it up, really a family in itself, you can only find toppie in Tilburg and I can eat with you for many years to come hihihi

This chip shop used to be much better, I recently got some fries war there, but the satay sauce was much thick and overpowering, and my snacks were still ice cold upon arrival at home, even though I live a 3-minute walk away. The fries also tasted nothing, they were dry and had no salt. 5 years ago they were much better. 0 stars from me.

Lekkere friet en hele lekkere eigengemaakte mayonaise 👌. En niet te vergeten de leuke en vriendelijke uitbaatster. Die zorgt ervoor dat het altijd gszellig is.

Employees very friendly, I felt very welcomed. I ate inside, my fries looked good on a plate. BUT Fries not fresh. I saw them laying fried once on the top, waiting to be put again to the oil. It didn't taste good. Also majonaisse didn't taste like a majonaisse. I saw somewhere opinion that it's hadmade, but still, it was weird for me. My partner ate fries with chicken and sweet-sour sauce and he liked it ;) The fried orange thing (name I don't know XD) we both liked.

Letterlijk de beste eetsalon / frietzaak van Tilburg en naar mijn mening van Nederland. Eigenaresse de liefste en de service is super. Ook lekker frietjes op een bord als je daar eet, ik vind dit zelf echt mega fijn. En dan de friet echt niet normaal zo lekker. Love it!!!

Gisteren hier voor het eerst besteld en wij waren zeer tevreden. Bestelling was echt super snel geleverd. Alles was netjes verpakt en goed warm, wat nogal vaak fout gaat bij andere zaken als je frietjes besteld. Het eten vonden wij erg lekker en is zeker voor herhaling vatbaar!

Vriendelijke mensen, goede kwaliteit en leuke initiatieven, zoals bijvoorbeeld de "daghap".
