A very pleasant place to eat. I'm coming here with my boyfriend to celebrate our anniversary <3. The pizzas are delicious and the staff is very friendly. A bit on the pricey side and the pizzas won't fill you up. Dessert makes up for a lot! Recommended!!!

Very nice restaurant. tasty pizzas. a little on the small side in terms of space. we had a table for two next to the toilet areas and the washing up area. therefore it missed some of the nice atmosphere that hangs there. but the pizzas are super tasty and unique.

Because I work in a pizza restaurant myself, I don’t often get pizza when I go out to eat. However, after such glowing recommendations from friends I had to try. Honestly, I’ll be happy and looking forward to dinning here again.

God damn how nice. Very tasty pizzas, don't go here for your average margarita or diavolo but for interesting combinations that have been thought through. And write a review for free limonchello ;) No, but really, the pizzas are really tasty.

The pizza's are barely a meal's worth. Compared to the photos they provide, the pizza's were disappointing. The location is great. edit: In reply to the owner's tonedeaf reply, we ordered two pizza margherita. The pizza we saw online was from their menu highlights. The toppings of the pizza were dull and too limited. The basil was just a few shreds instead of fresh, full leaves as indicated on the highlight. In terms of portion size, it was not just nice and light, avoiding a food coma, it was meager and disappointing. As soon as the order came we were let down. That happens of course, it's fine. But the reply of the owner underplays the experience.

The pizzas were cold and tasteless. There was only 1 small olive on the pizza which was described as one with olives. A handful of cashew nuts was thrown on top as a house specialty. The other pizza was decorated with cold ricotta and had black edges. We came to eat here because of the reviews, but that was a disappointment.

I wrote here 9 years ago: at Buurman & Buurman they understand how to make excellent pizzas and create a nice atmosphere. This has improved even further since then. I can only say, truly the best pizzas I have ever eaten.

Good food, terrible seating. No normal seating available. We had made reservations for 5 people and were placed at a small table where perhaps 3 people could sit comfortably. And then this table doesn't even have normal chairs, but stools. And when we had just finished our food, we were immediately asked to leave. Service was also friendly and hospitable. Dinner with 5 people and in short: a delicious meal. Fast service and friendly staff. Location is easy to find with cozy decoration. Large groups are more difficult to eat here given the number of tables. Pizzas are a bit on the expensive side (compared to the rest of Groningen), but certainly tasty. Also ordered the monthly pizza, but the spicy chicken could have been a bit spicier. Definitely recommend it!

A very nice and cozy restaurant with very nice service. As a starter we had antipasti for two people with delicious sausages, cheeses and olives. As a main course there is a wide choice of pizzas that come straight from the stone oven. To finish off, a delicious cheesecake with forest fruit sauce. All in all we had a very nice and delicious evening here! Highly recommended!

Amazing pizza! I really liked it! My friends and I think the chicken limoncello was the best!

Good pizzas, very relaxed service and a casual atmosphere! I think that card could use a good touch up after all these years. FF times a bit more news than the pizza of the moment. Homemade limoncello is great and the cheesecake is also delicious. Pizza is on the most expensive side of Grunn, you have to be able to handle it.

Spontaneously ended up at my neighbor's house for a drink with a friend. What a nice surprise. We were warmly welcomed. Atmosphere was super cozy. On the owner's advice we had a pineapple and rum drink, delicious. Had a nice chat with the owner and had a shot of Limoncello. What a nice team. Chapeau for the good atmosphere and service. Next time we will try the dishes. For now we've only had the garlic bread. It was tasty and beautifully prepared. Fresh from the oven. Thank you for the pleasant end to our dance evening. We had a great evening. Good atmosphere, our waitress (Sophia?) was outstanding -- very good service and entertaining. Good beer selection. Don't expect Italian-style pizza, you would be disappointed. Having said that, the toppings are of good quality and they offer a thought-through signature selection. Reasonably priced; very good overall experience.

Fantastic pizzas. The service was really very bad. To wait long. Being ignored by staff. Mixing up pizzas. Bad communication. Dirty glasses. We could no longer order coffee because the other reservation was already ready. Shame! Because it can be so much fun.

What a wonderful atmosphere there is here! So chill. The pizzas here are fantastic. They don't serve average drinks such as Coke, etc., but the lemonades are also very tasty here. The desserts are also delicious. Super sweet service too. The pizza oven completes the atmosphere. Will come again soon!

Have ordered pizzas from Buurman and Buurman several times. The pizzas are tasty but usually a bit cold when they arrive, but I understand that is also due to the fresh (cold) ingredients that go on the pizza after the oven. We therefore decided to eat a pizza on the spot. This experience was actually not pleasant at all. The restaurant was about as cold as outside (where it was freezing). Our table was next to the dishwasher and it was therefore not possible to sit calmly. Employees walking past you back and forth, cutlery being thrown in the sink (which through the window feels like it was thrown at us), an employee who kept walking back and forth quickly and even fell at one point... This spot felt more like a 'waiting spot' than a nice table in a restaurant. We ordered 2 pizzas. At one point 1 pizza was placed on our table. The other one had to wait... Because we were hungry, we both started with the pizza that was there. We had finished all but 2 pieces of this when pizza 2 arrived... luckily we shared the pizzas, otherwise it would have been a very long wait (with the result that 1 pizza would have become completely cold) Because, the pizza on site was not much warmer than when delivered at home, but with those temperatures inside, I understand that a pizza cools down quickly. The taste of the pizzas themselves are fantastic, there's no arguing about that. The waitress with dark hair was also cheerful and enthusiastic. But you don't have to come here for the atmosphere of a restaurant, next time you will just order it at home and sit nice and warm and cozy!

Heerlijk pizza in house gegeten. De menukaart is net even wat verfijnder dan bij de gemiddelde pizzaria, de pizza's worden lekker dun gebakken en de sfeer is goed. Aanrader is de hahaham pizza!

Mega lekkere pizza (vraag naar pizza Ruben!!) gezellig sfeertje met grappige intieme indeling maar genoeg privacy per tafel. Fijn oplettend personeel.

Wat een heerlijke zaak! Niet alleen was het personeel tijdens het reserveren heel meedenkend in de tijden van de shifts, maar was ook het welkom in het restaurant zelf warm. De pizza’s, niet normaal lekker! De wijn ook top en de sfeer in het restaurant was ook superleuk. Zeker een aanrader en wij komen zeker terug - ofwel in Groningen of in Amsterdam.

Wij hebben heerlijk gegeten bij Buurman in Groningen. Vooral de pizza spicy sweet & spicy salami was echt een 10! De witte chocoladecheesecake met pittige mango topping is ook echt aan te raden. Je zit er super gezellig binnen en het is sfeervol. Wij komen zeker eens terug! 😍

Hier krijg je de beste pizza's van Groningen! Echter mijn beoordeling van vijf sterren gaat na 1,5 jaar van 5 sterren naar 3 sterren. De kaart is te lang ongewijzigd en behoeft vernieuwing, dat zo motiveren om nog vaker even binnen te stappen!

Eten is super lekker. Service was alleen verschrikkelijk. Werden niet goed geholpen, kregen geen bestek en moesten heeel lang wachten op onze twee pizza’s.

Wij hadden de spicy beef en de truffel Parma pizza (parham en truffelsaus) die waren beide super lekker! Een hele dunne bodem en niet te vettig. Dus niet zoveel calorieën als een normale pizza :p. Ze hebben ook elke keer een special, dit keer de nacho pizza. Het zijn eens wat andere pizza’s dan anders. Je kunt ook in een soort gezellig steegje zitten. De bediening is ook heel vlot en aardig. Al met al de moeite waard om eens heen te gaan en wij gaan zeker weer!

Alle pizza’s zijn aan te raden. Het zijn allemaal bijzondere smaken die je niet bij een ander pizzarestaurant ziet. Een nieuw favoriet plekje in Groningen😍

For what it is it’s nice & has a nice ambiance. But it’s not really pizza (or at least traditional pizza) so adjust your expectations (maybe check the menu) before you go.

Ze waren vergeten ons eten te maken en daardoor zaten we meer dan een uur te wachten voor het eten kwam. Daarna kregen we niet eens een drankje of iets aangeboden. Terwijl anderen veel later binnen kwamen en het eten al op hadden!

1 van de lekkerste pizza's die ik gegeten heb! Mocht ik weer naar Groningen komen, wil ik weer komen eten :)

50 minuten gewacht op 2 pizza’s, veel tafels die later aanschoven hadden eerder eten. Uiteindelijk maar gevraagd.

Gezellige unieke plek met veel keuze voor het eten en ook veel vegan opties. Leuk personeel! Zou er zeker nog eens heen gaan!

Heerlijke sweet and spicy pepperoni pizza gehad, goddelijk! Laagdrempelige omgeving, met een lekkere playlist op de achtergrond. Je zit wel met anderen aan tafel, maar dat is verder geen probleem voor ons geweest….

Nooit eerder hier geweest en gingen af op de goede reviews. Het viel ons tegen. De pizza's zijn goed, maar daar alles mee gezegd. Prijs/kwaliteit klopt niet. We zaten in een gangetje van nog geen twee meter en behoorlijk sfeerloos. Wijn (bijna € 5,00) in een picardie glaasje, waarom geen wijnglas? Wijn hoort in een wijnglas. Jammer!!! Wel heel aardig personeel!

Raw meat was laying on the guest tables inside at 32 degrees Celsius. The floor and bar were not clean, the place was a mess. Chicken not marinated. I’m fine with pizzabodems being thin but to put as less and distasteful food on them is unacceptable and that for 15€ per pizza. They call themselves the best Pizzeria in town but honestly it’s one of the worst pizzas I have ever had. Not to mention the staff, they were not paying attention to their customers. They were 5 or 6 strong it’s a small place they were constantly running around. Very chaotic. Mostly craft beers on the menu, so not an option to order a nice cerveza while you wait in the heat. All and all never ordering or eating there again.
