Annika: I'm writing this from the bottom of my heart. I dated a Ruben myself, and it wasn't nearly as good as this pizza (that's what it's called, by the way). PERIOD. Nomi: The limoncello chicken pizza was so good, I've NEVER tasted anything like it. A wonderfully light, delicious pizza with refined flavors. A combination like never before! Definitely recommended. I also had a pizza with truffle Parma ham, and that was also delicious, but the truffle wasn't overpowering 👍🏻 Jasmijn: OOOH SOOO TASTY PIZZA! As a pizza connoisseur (former New York Pizza employee), I know what I'm talking about!!!. The limoncello chicken was definitely recommended for a delicious summer treat 🌞 Rosan: Oh my, what delicious pizzas! The vegetarian selection is huge, so plenty of choice for vegetarians and vegans! Marloes: Enjoyed it immensely!! Super cozy little place, and the limoncello chicken pizza is absolutely BUSINESS!!! Highly recommended, do it! Juultje: very tasty pizza and great service :) Also a cozy place to eat, and even free shots! The only point of improvement was that I got the pizza, the hahaham, but when I called it "pizza ham?" I thought the name was just as funny. Next time I'd like to hear it pronounced. Luna: If I ever travel to the far North again, it will be for this place; delicious food and friendly service.

Tasty and unique pizzas, i ordered limoncellokip which in my opinion is second best, first being the sweet and spicy salami, the atmosphere of the restaurant is great too with a wood burn pizza oven close to the tables along with the rustic overall design of the restaurant. 10/10

Alternative pizza restaurant with thin-crust pizzas and surprising flavor combinations - some without tomato sauce. Friendly service, nice background music. High tables are not very comfortable, but you won't feel that anymore after a bottle of red wine. Coffee and tiramisu were also tasty. Grazie per gli limoncelli.

I love this place!!! My favourite Beer is the Buurman Beer and the service was great!! Nico is my favourite waiter and i Heard, that He once saved a newborn who fell into the Pizza oven by accident!! Highly recommend this place :)

The best pizza in Groningen? The best in the Netherlands. We come to Groningen twice a year for 3 days and then eat pizza from Buurman and Buurman for 2 days. Just too delicious! And very nice staff.

This is the very best pizzeria in Groningen. This is the only place we go to more often. And for a reason. Always a very nice, accessible and welcome feeling in De Buurman and Buurman. Once again we ate delicious pizza!! Still the tastiest and nicest in Groningen (despite the fact that, to my great disappointment, the 'green veggie' was no longer on the menu...😕) The advantage was that I tried another pizza that was also delicious!!

The tastiest pizzas we have eaten in a long time, and spicy was really spicy! Lovely atmosphere and our waitress was so sweet and cheerful, our 6-year-old son chatted endlessly with her and felt very welcome. Highly recommended on all levels!

'Tasty pizza, but what poor service' After 35 minutes the food order was taken. With the announcement that we still had 55 minutes and then we had to be there. This created a very rushed atmosphere. When our order came we still had 30 minutes to eat. The food was already lukewarm and we asked for a pizza without parmesan cheese. Only we received a with, when we pointed this out the response was: 'nice that they passed this on' and there was no apology. When we asked for cutlery we received the response: 'it has already been cut' then the cutlery was thrown on the table and not enough. In addition, there were also too few napkins. Then the hour and a half was over and we were asked to leave. We asked for the bill, while the thin pizzas still left room for dessert. We did not receive the bill and 5 minutes later we were asked again to leave because there were people waiting. Then was told we had to pay at the bar and how our evening was. When we gave the feedback the waitress was very defensive. You give honest feedback once and then you get the feeling that you are not allowed to say anything.

A special experience. It started as usual with assigning a table. We had a reservation for an hour and a half. However, while the drinks were being ordered, they were not immediately asked to order the food; this was only picked up later. When we were finally able to order, it was already a bit later. After some time after ordering, the waiter came to tell us that if the pizzas did not arrive on time, we could stay a little longer. But if they were on time, we had to take into account a timely departure. Fine, that's noted. The pizzas arrived after a while, but unfortunately one of us, despite specifically asking for no cheese, still got a pizza with cheese. When we pointed this out, the response was simply: "It's nice that "they" pass that on." It turned out that the request had not been properly communicated by the various service employees. Then we had to wait for the last pizza, which made even more time pass. This made us feel like we had to eat our meal quickly to stay within the time slot. Although the pizza was good in taste, it was unfortunately not warm enough. When the time period was almost over, we were again kindly but urgently asked to leave quickly. At that moment we were ready to go after the many requests to leave, even though we still felt like having dessert. However, this was no longer requested. The wait staff eventually noticed that our experience was not exactly positive. There followed some conversations that felt defensive in nature, and finally we were offered a drink to compensate. However, the period had now expired and we did not feel particularly welcome to use it anymore. Despite the many positive reviews we had heard both online and through others, this experience was unfortunately disappointing for us. This may have been due to crowds or a combination of circumstances, but it felt unfair and substandard to us.

Excellent, delicious food. The pizzas were well topped. Personally, I think I would keep the crust a bit more authentic. Presumably the bottom is rolled flat instead of thrown, so that the crust remains airier. Service was great despite all the hustle and bustle of the Noorderzon festival.

Do you think you've had THE best pizza anywhere else? Forget it. Nowhere else than here will you find THE tastiest pizzas. In addition to incredibly friendly staff. TOP and highly recommended.

What a gem this pizza restaurant. Pointed out by my daughter. Ate here for the first time in May 2024 and have been addicted to the truffle-parma pizza ever since. Relaxed atmosphere among the service. Nice appearance. We like coming here. Great spot during Noorderzon too :-)

The pizzas are excellent thanks to a real pizzaoven. Crust is both crunchy outside and smooth inside. Service is very efficient and effective. The setup with old workshop furniture as tabled is also very appealing. I loved all of that a lot. Unfortunately the place is victim of its own success. The place is more busy than the staff can handle and everyone is working hard to keep everything running. This makes the atmosphere a bit more tensed than one may desire for an evening out. Many customers come here to pick up their pizza and this might be the best option to enjoy an excellent pizza in a more relaxed environment. Or you pick another moment than a Saturday evening :-) I still highly recommend it!

Pizzas are amazing! Starter and dessert (tiramisu in a plastic container) are disappointing, expensive for what you get and pale in comparison to the pizzas.

Cozy atmosphere, nice music and fun to watch the pizzas being baked, as the pizza oven takes center stage! Very nice and creative decorations and all in all creates a cozy atmosphere! The food is really delicious and the pizzas and antipasti are especially recommended! Nothing to complain about and this is an easy recommendation, even for families with children.

Very nice restaurant. tasty pizzas. a little on the small side in terms of space. we had a table for two next to the toilet areas and the washing up area. therefore it missed some of the nice atmosphere that hangs there. but the pizzas are super tasty and unique.

Because I work in a pizza restaurant myself, I don’t often get pizza when I go out to eat. However, after such glowing recommendations from friends I had to try. Honestly, I’ll be happy and looking forward to dinning here again.
