Nice to use something for a while

Had lunch here today and, unfortunately, it was very disappointing. The Turkish breakfast only came with two small tomatoes and two slices of cucumber, which were also dried out. The bread was tough and hard. Hot drinks were served without a spoon, and the tables were still dirty from previous guests. The food was brought out without checking for cutlery. The only positives were the gozleme, which was tasty, and the Turkish tea was good. All in all, the hygiene, service, and the rest of the breakfast were a fiasco. Definitely not recommended. Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures, which I regret later.

Ekmekci is a great place, not this branch. Potato arrived ice cold and hard, its at least a day old, could have played football with it. Cheese not even melted and no one answered the phone when called, twice. Let alone some of the toppings which were older than the Roman Empire. Never ordering here again!

Horrible place, literally false advertising. I paid over 6 euros for a pumpkin spice coffee, and it doesn't even remotely resemble the coffee in the advertisement. It doesn't taste like pumpkin spice at all; I'm 99% sure it was just a regular cappuccino. No whipped cream. It took a long time. The lemon cake was dry and disgusting. The tables wobble so much you can't lean on them without spilling. The only positive I can think of is that the atmosphere is cozy. But that doesn't even begin to compensate for the completely false advertising. Same prices as Starbucks, 20 times worse.

Specifically asked for no tomatoes and still got them, they also forgot one of the items 🥲

I received a Turkish pizza that completely fell apart. I first tried to fix it myself by asking for a piece of aluminum foil. Then the pizza had fallen apart so much it was impossible to eat properly. I pointed this out, and the response I received was that this is how it should be and there's nothing they can do about it. I won't be eating here again!

I think this is a lovely restaurant. You can see into the very clean kitchen. I really enjoyed the food. I found the service very friendly. I'll definitely be back!

Just ordered a kapsalon, which, including delivery, costs €13. The container is smaller than the average small one at a Turkish restaurant. 3/4 full of microwave fries and very little meat, which looks more like fried chicken than doner. No garlic sauce in sight, and the remaining 1/4 is covered in some kind of thick cheese that resembles lasagna. Outrageous.

Unreachable by phone. Ordering food from the website is impossible. What kind of business is this if you can't even order and can't reach them by phone? Is it a Turkish place or an Arabic restaurant? I see a Turkish name, but none of the staff speak Turkish. Shame!!!

Can I order a sandwich? - Yes, I can. Which sandwich? Healthy. - Oh, no healthy bread. Other bread. - No, not any other. I already saw that they were more lazy than tired.

The service was incredibly slow. They even served tea up front, and we finished it before the meal, so we had to order it again to have it with the meal. The music in the restaurant is pleasant and popular, fitting the atmosphere. You order from a machine, which is very convenient and doesn't make it crowded. There aren't many people, so it's quite empty.

Tables and seats were dirty. Tea glass was also has fingerprints as soon as it was on the table. We got shocked about the potato gozleme, since we ordered one with potato never seen such one with fries in it! Fries gozleme?? Is it logical? Also the bread was cut with hands with a messy look and one single piece of simit was such a joke. My husband gave me his own simit. We thought we should expect the same Ekmekci as in spuistraat. No correlation. Very sorry about what we had.

Bad experience. The tea was cold, the toilet was dirty, and the atmosphere in the store was cold. No one came to the table to take an order. In the end, I went to the cash register myself to order. This is not how it should be in a catering business. Very disappointing.

Gewoon lekker eten en gezellig, mensen die zeuren vanwege de service hier op tripadvisor zijn te incapabel om te zien dat er een ZELFSERVICE bord staat waar je ZELF moet bestellen. Gewoon een leuke aanrader voor als je in de buurt woont.

Prima locatie om lekker te eten, betaalbaar, lekker, veel keuze, genoeg ruimte om te zitten, leuke locatie ook bij winkelcentrum

The service and atmosphere are successful, but I cannot say the same for the food. Since we missed Turkish flavors, we ordered Kumpir and flatbread. But I received an incredibly bad pancake and an equally bad baked potato. The top of the pancake was not browned, it was oil-free and even the cheddar had not melted. The disappointment increased even more when the baked potato came with kapsalon ingredients on top of hard potatoes. I don't understand how you can make such bad potatoes in a country where potatoes are so good. In conclusion, the impression was good but the experience was terrible.

Great food and service. Tables and menus could’ve been cleaner/more hygienic and room temperature is a bit cold.

Great business with friendly, hard-working people! Point for improvement: adjust the extraction system or the menu. The musty smell of deep fryers is unfortunately overwhelming and always present.

What a gem this is. delicious baked potato. lots of taste, lots of choice and large portions. you can even create your own baked potato! The more classic dishes such as kapsalon and Turkish pizza are also very tasty here and everything tastes fresh. will definitely come back here again👍

Ordered 2 times hair salon and a Turkish pizza via Ubereats last night, 5/11. In the description of the hair salon we had stated no sambal. We only forgot about the Turkish pizza (also strange that there is no option for that on the site). Then we found out 5 minutes after placing the order. We immediately called the restaurant. After calling twice without an answer, we got an employee on the phone who said that the delivery person had already left and nothing could be done. Communication was tiring, because it is indeed up to us to write it down. But after indicating that it is an allergy. No effort has been made to find a solution together. We think that's a shame and that's why we couldn't eat. So wasted money. It is also quite strange that it can be delivered to a delivery person not even 10 minutes after ordering.

Ordered TROPICAL CHICKEN salads twice today. Came CHICKENOCADO….. We only had a 30 minute break, so we didn't call for correction. But next time we would like to receive our order, not that we have to accept what you want to send to us again. The price of salad is quite high. So please better service.

Food quality is very poor. Stuffed potato is an old small potato, the potato puree is not really a puree because it contains pieces of hard potato.... I ordered with Tuna and the Tuna literally comes with oil full of oil from a container without herbs. That's what they throw on it. It wasn't tasty. And I won't be coming back. I have eaten at several Ekmekci and perhaps my expectations were a little too high...

Ordered 3 gözleme paket servis. Waited around 20 minutes. Got 2. Oh you ordered 3. Another 10-15 minutes later. More personnel would be my tip. There was one girl, one boy and one chef. People had to wait too long or just left. Gözlemeler were tasteful.

Order coffee at the bar and pay immediately. Young man stands at the bar, chewing gum, disinterestedly, helping others who came after us first. He is unqualified and not suitable for the catering industry. Had to wait half an hour. This was our 2nd visit, same bad experience. Besides...really too expensive.

via socialdeal een lunch gekocht. manager liep stressvol rond in de zaak alsof hij niet wist wat hij moest doen en afruimen of bestellingen opnemen ging niet echt vlot. eten was matig en de bijbehorende baklava was op! toen ik er iets van zei ging de manager over de rooie en schreeuwde dat ik de zaak uit moest en dat hij niet van mij afhankelijk was! zo ga je tegenwoordig dus met klanten om. hier eenmaal geweest maar nooit meer!!!

Just having a cup of coffee is not an option. I've been waiting for my "Latte Macchiato" for 30 minutes now (by the way, the waiter almost skipped me ordering 30 minutes ago. My "neighbor" and his wife said that happened to them too). They just don't keep an eye on their clientele. Sad. No entrepreneurs like it. I'm just leaving. I wonder if I still have to pay for that cup of "ghost coffee" hahaha.

Even een bakkie koffie doen is er niet bij. Ik zit nu al 30 minuten op mijn "Latte Macchiato" te wachten (ober sloeg mij trouwens 30 minuten geleden bijna over met bestellen. Mijn "buurman" en zijn vrouw zeiden dat dat bij hun ook gebeurde). Ze houden gewoon hun clientèle niet in de gaten. Triest. Geen ondernemers lust. Ik ga maar weg. Ben benieuwd of ik nog voor dat bakkie "spook koffie" moet betalen hahaha.

Worth the wait... Ordered with Uber Eats, but the Uber Eats delivery people did not pick up the order. So I get a call from Ekmekci about this asking where they could deliver it themselves. I had my food in no time. Not your fault, but still a great solution! Great service and super tasty food.

Ask for less sambal when ordering, I get a container with fries and sambal with a few pieces of döner in it. Too bad because it looks good.

Super great service from Nadia. Tried to order from Thuisbezorgd.nl, worthless. Nadia said "we will solve that" and so it happened. Our order was delivered within 30 minutes. Absolutely great. Nadia if you ever look for another job call me!!!

They do not have a big food selection, but their cappuccino is fantastic. This place should add more choices, it's trendy.

Vandaag een lekkere Gozleme afgehaald. Het personeel was onwijs vriendelijk en het was binnen een paar minuutjes klaar. De smaak van de Gozleme was goed! Zeker een aanrader om lekker wat te eten. Je kan er onwijs leuk zitten. Afhalen is ook een optie.

Ik heb hier meerdere malen hun specialiteit gozleme besteld voor afhalen. Kun je helemaal zelf samenstellen, super lekker. De medewerkers zijn altijd vriendelijk en behulpzaam als je aan het twijfelen bent wat je als vulling erin wilt hebben, Ze zitten uit de loop in het winkelcentrum, in een hoek, maar ze verdienen het echt om meer klandizie te hebben!

Eten was zoo lekker en vers kreeg ook heel veel voor zo weinig.. echt top! Heb de gozleme besteld met spinazie en kip daarna nog gepofte aardappel die was met allemaal verschillende ingrediënten gevuld zoo lekker is een keertje iets anders echt een aanrader zeker een plek om vaak terug voor te komen en toppunt personeel ontzettend vriendelijk 100% 5 sterren!

Gisteren hier geluncht. Eten was heerlijk, ruime keuze en ondanks drukte snel geserveerd. De inrichting was heel sfeervol. Het restaurant werd bezocht door verschillende nationaliteiten. Het was echter de service waar ik het meest van onder de indruk was: supervriendelijke bediening, niet onnatuurlijk, maar oprecht vriendelijk en heel behulpzaam. Na afloop nog even gebruik gemaakt van toilet, maar ook dit was perfect schoon. Voordat we het restaurant verlieten, heb ik de serveerster nog aangesproken op de voortreffelijke service en zij was blij met de feedback. Deze locatie is de 5 sterren meer dan waard!

Restaurant is heel open , verzorgt en schoon. Je kan er echt lekker eten en de service is echt perfect. Aanrader
