We ate here and were very disappointed. It's a very unhygienic restaurant. First of all, the chairs and table were all incredibly dirty. We had to wipe them down ourselves before sitting down. Inside, there are tons of large flies that we had to swat away constantly. Every table already has a container with cutlery and a few napkins. No one knows how often the cutlery has been touched, how, or by whom, so that's already a drawback. Bring the cutlery with the food. I asked for new cutlery, and the server simply brought a different container from another table. The cutlery was covered in dirt!! As if it hadn't even been washed. Sorry, but they really need to improve the hygiene here! The food wasn't exactly amazing either. The kumpir was tasty, but covered in all sorts of sauces.

It was quite quiet when I arrived but I didn't like the food itself that much. I had the loaded fries and a strawberry matcha, I liked the matcha but the loaded fries a bit less.

Today was my umpteenth visit to Ekmekci in Zoetermeer, and as always, I enjoyed all the delicious food and the great service. Truly top-notch experiences every time.

Unhygienic and poorly trained staff We ate here last week, but unfortunately, it wasn't a pleasant experience. It started with ordering via a QR code, which didn't work. We filled out everything, but the website froze. Eventually, a staff member came to help us, but she didn't seem to understand how it worked at all. She was incredibly slow and had to repeat our order two or three times before it was properly placed. Drinks were served by a different woman, but that wasn't exactly polite either. She picked up the cups by the top and placed them on the table, which was really unhygienic. Not a pleasant thought to have to drink from that. (Basic knowledge for working in a restaurant, as far as I'm concerned🤷‍♀️) I ordered fresh tea, which you have to pour into your cup yourself using a sort of plastic jug. Great idea, but the jug itself was covered in sauce on the side. Very unappetizing. When my food arrived, I asked someone in the kitchen what exactly was on the Turkish pizza. He didn't know exactly. So that's useless. Finally, the four of us only got two sets of cutlery. We asked for more, but after waiting a few minutes, nothing had arrived. We ended up having to get our own cutlery at the cash register, otherwise our food would have gotten cold. In short: poor service, poor hygiene, and poorly trained staff. A shame, because the concept seemed interesting. But we won't be back.

As a regular breakfast guest at Ekmekci in Zoetermeer, I can say: this is my go-to place to start the day right!

It was not a nice experience. The food was good but the place was not clean. The seating areas were really dirty and had a lot of stains. Even the outside area was very dirty and annoying and no one cleaned it. It is a place to eat food and that is really annoying. I could not enjoy sitting or eating the food in a nice way.

Order was taken and after 20 minutes found out the order was not even places to the kitchen.

This afternoon I asked at the cash register if I could use the toilet because I was really about to clap and really had to pee. The man said no, only if you order a drink. I said I would pay 1 or 2 euros if necessary! I got a no again. Ridiculous, really not hospitable at all!! I didn't expect that at a shop like Ekmekci Luckily the neighbours at Douwe Egberts were so friendly, you could take an example from them!!

Been to other locations but here is the best service food everything was good. We were with a group of 17 people and they did everything fine. This regardless of staff shortage. Thank you very much.

So I come in to have a cup of coffee and something to eat. It is said. Sorry sir, you are not allowed to go to the toilet here. Excuse me, I come here to eat and drink something and the staff immediately accepts without asking that I come for the toilet. Immediately walked away and went somewhere else. Too bad because Ekmekci is normally tasty.

The food wasn't as ordered. We ordered beef and chicken was served. We told the waitress, a young lady. She just laughed at us and walked away. The shop is definitely not recommended for tourists, very rude, especially the young lady who works there.

I've been coming here since it opened and was very satisfied, but it's not what it used to be. Therefore unfortunately from 5 stars to 1 star. As a regular customer, I wanted to use the toilet, but was told that I had to consume something. I suggested paying for the toilet but was not heard at all. Totally (no longer) customer friendly here, which is a shame. P.S. The toilets are disgustingly dirty!

This is what you call a delicious Gozleme! They also have very tasty Turkish breakfast and nice coffee! With a nice atmosphere, you are helped quickly, they work cleanly and it is wonderfully clean. I have eaten at several Ekmekci branches, but I still think this is the best Ekmekci so far. I will come back here more often! ✨🌟

Ekmekci Zoetermeer is a fantastic spot for flavorful and satisfying food. We ordered the kapsalon with piri piri and the Turkse pizza with piri piri, and let me just say, my taste buds are still throwing a party. The kapsalon was the perfect mix of spicy, crispy, and fresh—so good that I was seriously considering taking a second portion to go, just for dinner later. The Turkse pizza? Think thin, crispy perfection with a piri piri kick that’ll make you feel alive. Spicy enough to keep things interesting, but not enough to have you crying into your drink. The service? Top-notch. The staff were friendly and quick. The atmosphere was chill and cozy, the kind of place where you feel comfortable devouring your food like nobody’s watching (even though they probably are because it’s that good). If you’re in Zoetermeer and haven’t tried Ekmekci yet, what are you doing with your life? Seriously, get the kapsalon and Turkse pizza with piri piri. Your stomach will thank you, even if your spice tolerance doesn’t. Highly recommend!

My father ordered coffee and fries, but people there listen with an ear and turn to chocolate. My father didn't get chocolate, but he did get fries afterwards, but he did have to pay for chocolate. I will personally come to you for your bullshit with we have already caught on. If you have cashed in the cash register, give that chocolate to him with your so-called chocolate

The food so far is tasty and freshly made. The Turkish coffee is not even close to what a Turkish coffee should be. Regarding the service- it needs attention. Only sometimes it is friendly and helpful

I find it a bit ridiculous that they charge 9.00 for 50 grams of chicken döner. Because they are in a shopping center with a decent interior. Good service but poor price/quality ratio. This is my opinion about the döner, not about the rest they offer.

My mother and I come here every month. The breakfast, the gözleme, the simit, the Turkish tea and coffee are delicious. The staff is incredibly friendly and hardworking. You hardly have to wait. The food is fresh and made before my own eyes. We ate here on site and always take something with us for home. I recommend everyone to take a look here. You can see the many options on the control screen. The prices are very reasonable. We take quite a bit with us, which is why we spent €50.

The restaurant looks nice, you can find tasty food for breakfast or a snack. Price was also fine. I think it's worth having breakfast there. What I thought was a shame was that I once wanted to have breakfast there with my husband, but it was closed, while Google has the opening hours at 9:00 AM, but the restaurant was not open.
