My wife and I came here on Thursday just before closing time to pick up two gozleme. The lady at the counter was super friendly, and the food was delicious. Four stars because the guy gave me the bag of food while wearing a dirty glove. That wasn't very polite. Otherwise, 5 stars.

I had a kapsalon there, and it was the best kapsalon I've ever had. The people who work there are really friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is nice. The restaurant itself looks beautiful, and everything is always clean. And you get free lollipops when you pay. I recommend everyone to come here!

Upon arrival, Gizem greeted us warmly and allowed us to choose our own table. We enjoyed some truly delicious gozleme, a version with doner kebab. Highly recommended! Upon departure, Gizem was again friendly and genuinely interested in what we thought. We will definitely be back!

From the very first visit, I thought this would be a regular spot. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. You immediately feel at ease. It was prayer time, and when I asked if I could pray there, it was no problem, and I was able to pray right away without any issues. The food is high-quality and there's plenty of choice, so I highly recommend it.

The food was delicious, I'm a big fan of ekmekci. For a truly Turkish experience, I think you should add Uludag and Şalgam suyu to your drink selection.

Food always arrives much later than the stated time. Often, dishes are missing or not delivered unless I call. When I complain, they tell me to pick it up yourself, but they never deliver. Very disappointing.

I ordered chocolate with coconut, but there was no coconut in the drink. When I inquired, it turned out they didn't have any coconut in the store. The fries were fried twice, which even Burger King hasn't done for years.

Extremely poor service. Inexperienced and unfriendly (unprofessional) staff, and poor communication. We had to leave hungry. We were moved to another table after consulting with the staff (the lights were so bright and white that it quickly became an uncomfortable seating area). Many customers who came in after us had already finished their food, while the staff completely ignored us (our food). Then, two of the four of us received theirs, and the rest didn't arrive. That in itself is evidence of poor service, especially since there was no communication about it. The whole point of dining out is to enjoy a meal together. At one point, we asked what was wrong and where the rest of the food was, only to find that they had completely forgotten us again (and this despite it not being a large restaurant). The fact that it got to this point, and two of the four people had to leave hungry, is a testament to the poor service. The staff were extremely slow and lethargic, unable to see beyond the table next to us. Our plans for the rest of the day were ruined. The rest of the food we received (free of charge) was fine, but not exceptional. The manager came to us afterward to explain things, which was polite, but of course, wasn't much use to us (an empty stomach, hunger, frustration, and a messed-up plan meant I didn't feel like arguing on the spot). Of course, there's also a certain self-interest in this (and they hope to avoid a bad review). Besides, I'm free to give my honest side of the story; that's the whole point of Google reviews. It's frustrating for the owner, but unfortunately, it's how it works. Hopefully, it'll be a lesson in improving the service for future customers.

The staff are extremely arrogant, they don't smile much, and they all look grumpy. As a business owner, you're allowed to speak to them. If you don't feel like working, stay home, especially the lady Elaidi who helped me. It's a disgrace, not recommended! It's not a personal issue; the whole team and atmosphere are terrible. As a business owner, you should be able to see that when they don't even say "please," but just throw your plate on the table and walk away. Stop playing the victim. How honest can you get? Do something about your team!

I thoroughly enjoyed the delicious food! The person who hired and trained the staff should definitely be proud of their wonderful team. I'll definitely be back to Ekmekci Zoetermeer!

The service was very sloppy and rude. They throw your drink down, including the straws. They don't address you as "ma'am." When my grandmother asked if I could pay, she said "cash register" instead of "you can do that at the counter, ma'am." She was extremely rude and very disappointed with the service. I work in hospitality myself, and I'll never go back. They can't even clean the table. What a shame!

Great location for a quick lunch. The generous portion of loaded fries with pulled beef was delicious, but there was too much sauce. Gözleme with spinach, chicken, and cheese was also tasty, but a bit too greasy. In my opinion, it's a matter of striving for perfection.

We ate here and were very disappointed. It's a very unhygienic restaurant. First of all, the chairs and table were all incredibly dirty. We had to wipe them down ourselves before sitting down. Inside, there are tons of large flies that we had to swat away constantly. Every table already has a container with cutlery and a few napkins. No one knows how often the cutlery has been touched, how, or by whom, so that's already a drawback. Bring the cutlery with the food. I asked for new cutlery, and the server simply brought a different container from another table. The cutlery was covered in dirt!! As if it hadn't even been washed. Sorry, but they really need to improve the hygiene here! The food wasn't exactly amazing either. The kumpir was tasty, but covered in all sorts of sauces.

It was quite quiet when I arrived but I didn't like the food itself that much. I had the loaded fries and a strawberry matcha, I liked the matcha but the loaded fries a bit less.

We had a delicious meal in a charming restaurant with very friendly staff. The service was excellent!

Unhygienic and poorly trained staff We ate here last week, but unfortunately, it wasn't a pleasant experience. It started with ordering via a QR code, which didn't work. We filled out everything, but the website froze. Eventually, a staff member came to help us, but she didn't seem to understand how it worked at all. She was incredibly slow and had to repeat our order two or three times before it was properly placed. Drinks were served by a different woman, but that wasn't exactly polite either. She picked up the cups by the top and placed them on the table, which was really unhygienic. Not a pleasant thought to have to drink from that. (Basic knowledge for working in a restaurant, as far as I'm concerned🤷‍♀️) I ordered fresh tea, which you have to pour into your cup yourself using a sort of plastic jug. Great idea, but the jug itself was covered in sauce on the side. Very unappetizing. When my food arrived, I asked someone in the kitchen what exactly was on the Turkish pizza. He didn't know exactly. So that's useless. Finally, the four of us only got two sets of cutlery. We asked for more, but after waiting a few minutes, nothing had arrived. We ended up having to get our own cutlery at the cash register, otherwise our food would have gotten cold. In short: poor service, poor hygiene, and poorly trained staff. A shame, because the concept seemed interesting. But we won't be back.

As a regular breakfast guest at Ekmekci in Zoetermeer, I can say: this is my go-to place to start the day right!

It was not a nice experience. The food was good but the place was not clean. The seating areas were really dirty and had a lot of stains. Even the outside area was very dirty and annoying and no one cleaned it. It is a place to eat food and that is really annoying. I could not enjoy sitting or eating the food in a nice way.

Order was taken and after 20 minutes found out the order was not even places to the kitchen.

This afternoon I asked at the cash register if I could use the toilet because I was really about to clap and really had to pee. The man said no, only if you order a drink. I said I would pay 1 or 2 euros if necessary! I got a no again. Ridiculous, really not hospitable at all!! I didn't expect that at a shop like Ekmekci Luckily the neighbours at Douwe Egberts were so friendly, you could take an example from them!!

Excuse me, I come here to eat and drink something and the staff immediately accepts without asking that I come for the toilet. Immediately walked away and went somewhere else. The food wasn't as ordered. We ordered beef and chicken was served. We told the waitress, a young lady. She just laughed at us and walked away. The shop is definitely not recommended for tourists, very rude, especially the young lady who works there.

I've been coming here since it opened and was very satisfied, but it's not what it used to be. Therefore unfortunately from 5 stars to 1 star. As a regular customer, I wanted to use the toilet, but was told that I had to consume something. I suggested paying for the toilet but was not heard at all. Totally (no longer) customer friendly here, which is a shame. P.S. The toilets are disgustingly dirty!

First time we have eaten here and a very positive experience! We both had the gözleme bouncer and it was very tasty! The chai latte and Berry White tea were also very tasty. Friendly service too! We will definitely come back here!
