Warm welcome. Sweet and helpful service. Iranian cuisine with some vegan choices. The Zereshk Polo with mixed vegetables was very tasty. The Saffron tea is also recommended.

Ended up here unexpectedly and had a surprisingly good meal. Didn't know saffron tea was so tasty. The original Iranian dish was also very tasty.

A truly delicious Iranian cuisine with sweet, friendly and good service. Nothing but good about that. The restaurant is a bit less attractive, but in good company that should certainly not be a problem! This restaurant was not busy at the time of our visit, which is unjustified given the excellent food. You can order sauce from the menu, but I haven't figured out yet what they call it. Sorry for this boomer joke. It is also possible to order for vegetarian eaters. As is often the case, the choice is limited for vegans. Ordering just rice is a bit boring. Do you live in Kerkrade? Then definitely give it a visit!

I recently ordered food online from here. (Kerkrade) Order was here within 45 minutes. Okay that's fine. Food itself was bad. Tandoori chicken was burnt. Black placards under and on top of the chicken. Wtf. No sauce? Just some fried onions at the bottom. Never experienced this before with tandoori chicken. Other dish also no sauce... Very disappointing. Indian food is known for its sauces. But I think letting something burn and then sending it off is disrespectful to the customer. I also think they are very expensive! Especially for what you get. 1 can of coke 2.50 Euro?

Local restaurant, cozy and well priced. Deliciously tender stewed lamb, fresh cabbage salad, fragrant rice, the mango lassi is also delicious. You can taste the mango, banana and sweet honey in it. The saffron tea comes with a date-peanut delicacy as a bonus. A truly special taste experience! An asset to the neighborhood to be able to eat something other than Italian or Chinese. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

High quality Persian food. Owners are exceedingly nice, friendly, forthcoming. The food brought me back to my childhood like the ratatouille dish did for the food critic in that pixar movie. Truly blessed.

Food is fresh but there is no taste to it. I had a masala, there is no taste to the sauce or the chicken. Too bad, not again.

A hidden gem among all the pizzerias and shawarma tents... Okay the portions are not super big. But what flavors!! This food is made with passion, you can taste it. Definitely recommended if you want to taste something different 👌🏼

I recently had dinner at this restaurant, and it was a disappointing experience. The quality of the food was far below expectations. I ordered the kebab, and it was clear that it was one of those ready-made kebabs that you buy at Lidl. The meat was dry and tasteless, and the presentation was also very poor. The service was nothing to write home about either. I certainly won't be coming back here and can't recommend it to anyone.

Eliya's restaurant tried to delete this post so you don't know the truth about their terribly expensive food. I had to delete how much we paid to repost my review. Let me put it another way: for two dinners and two sides, we paid enough for a week's worth of groceries for a couple, and this is what we got: a Biryani that consisted of mounds of rice, artificially dyed red, with almost zero chicken. We were served a curry, also dyed unnaturally red, with a mound of rice with little to no trace of vegetables. All dishes tasted the same: NO TASTE. It was as if the curry, Dal soup and biryani were cooked in one pan and then spread across different plates. The samosas were blackened, greasy, half filled and inedible as they were fried in old blackened oil. Horrible. We paid too much for this disaster and I hope my review prevents you from making the same mistake. The nan bread, yoghurt sauce and fermented garlic were tasty, but the rest of the food was carelessly made and thrown together. Portion size was great - if you like rice! I know what it costs to prepare food, and Eliya's cuts corners and cheats paying customers. At the time of writing this, you will have to pay extra for delivery regardless of how much you buy. It's wrong if the food is so bad. Maybe the chef was on vacation? Unfortunately other recent reviews about this place suggest otherwise. Unless you like emptying your wallet for bad food and disappointment, avoid Eliya's Restaurant.

We ate here twice during our stay in Simpelveld because we enjoyed it the first time. The owners (husband and wife) are very friendly and their food is excellent. You can tell that it was made with love. We come from far away, but if we are ever in the area again we will definitely come here again. Gr. T&A

We were there on time and the restaurant was closed, when he opened it there was an out of this world mess inside, food was on the floor and the tables were sticky. The stench there made me stop eating. My partner got upset and when he asked how long we would have to wait, they said 10 minutes for rice and meat, it was impossible, and then we heard the microwaves running, I guess that's not what Iranian cuisine is about. The prices do not match the menu and in my opinion, 18€ for something like this is definitely too much.

Excellent food! Iranian food has unique flavors and is a cuisine that you don't find often. I tried the Zereshk Polo with some garlic naan and the cook added a bit of spice to the dish, very tasty! Payment by QR or cash only!

We drove 50 Kilometers from Germany to eat here. Authentic Oriental cuisine (prepared by the owner's family), the owner is friendly and helpful, and they take special requests. We felt we were valuable guests. Definitely worth it

Finally found a restaurant that offers something different than all the others. I'm not normally a fan of curry, but I ate a delicious curry here. And my husband biryani with lamb. They are also very nice people and really good service. I'm glad I found this restaurant and I definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys good food!

Heerlijk veganistisch gegeten. De eigenaar (uit Afghanistan) en zijn vrouw (uit Iran) koken heerlijke gerechten met smaakcombinaties uit de Indiase, Perzische en Afghaanse keuken. Zoals hij zelf zei: ze koken wat ze zelf lekker vinden. Alle gerechten kunnen ook met tofu i.p.v. vlees worden gemaakt, dus veel keuze. En zo vers bereid dat ze bij bijvoorbeeld een currygerecht de room probleemloos weglieten. Ze hebben nog iets meer kennis nodig over plantaardig eten, want dan zetten ze vast de laatste puntjes ook op de i. Voordelen: Bijna elk gerecht kon worden bereid met tofu, Supervriendelijk, bereid mee te denken, Parkeren voor de deur Nadelen: Geen alcohol (maar dat kan ook een voordeel zijn😉)

Echt super lekker Indiaas eten gehad! De chef weet wat die doet. Naan was heerlijk en de salade lekker gekruid. De sambosa was ook heel erg goed. Chicken Tikki zeeeeeer lekker en de paneer speciaal was ook super! Die zou ik aanraden met de rijst. Fijn dat er zoveel vegetarische menuopties zijn. Daar kunnen anderen nog wat van leren! Dank jullie wel. We hebben genoten.

Geweldig lekker eten . Het was voor ons een nieuwe ervaring qua smaken . Maar alles was gewoon heerlijk. Het lam smaakte echt nog eens naar lam. Alles was heerlijk gekruid. De rijst die je kreeg was ook gewoon top. De uitbater is ook een héél vriendelijk persoon.

We zagen de reclame bij Vue Cinema Kerkrade voor de film de Tatta's. We vonden niet 123 welke keuken het was maar het zag er Arabisch uit. Dat wilden we wel proberen. Blijkt het Indiase en Iraanse keuken gemixt te zijn. Het begint met een super vriendelijk ontvangst. Advies om er geen frisdrank bij te nemen maar saffraan thee. Dat past er inderdaad goed bij. Het eten was voortreffelijk. Verse kruiden en ingrediënten. We hebben van alles genoten. Zeker kans op herhaling.

Wir haben ganz wunderbar gegessen, sowohl die Vorspeisen als auch die Hauptgerichte waren köstlich! Wir müssen unbedingt wiederkommen, um auch die Nachtische zu probieren, aber wir waren nach den üppigen Portionen einfach zu satt..

Wij hebben heerlijk gegeten. Goede kwaliteit en schoon.

Eerste keer dit soort eten besteld. Goed verzorgd en goede service. Je moet wel van de smaak houden.

Heel lekker eten. Kan niet beter. Wat een verschil met Hollandse pot. Iraans Afghaanse Indiase keuken. Geuren, kleuren en smaaksensatie. Wij hadden kip tandoori en paneer palak. Spinazie met blokjes kaas. En safraanrijst. Samen voor 30 e. Klein minpunt: de borden waarop geserveerd werd, waren koud. En het ligt een beetje uit de looproute.

The food here is amazing! The ribs literally fell off the bone, and the saag lamb was delicious and tender. We will absolutely be returning!

Wat een aanwinst voor Kerkrade. Heerlijk gegeten met het gezin. Elk gerecht was lekker. De website is traag en het betalen lukte niet. Daarom gebeld en ter plaatse betaald.
