Evergreenz in Ouddorp

I had breakfast here for a week with eight people as part of our booked half-board package at Center Parcs. The atmosphere in the front area is lovely. It feels like sitting outdoors – lots of sunshine, airy, and surrounded by plants. Yet it's warm and windless. The breakfast is good. Admittedly, it's a bit pricey for the selection. But when I think about having to prepare breakfast in the cottage every morning – shopping, washing dishes, making tea – it was worth it. The sandwich maker was particularly good. I found the pan-fried onions and mushrooms with the scrambled eggs very tasty. There was fresh fruit every day. I also really enjoyed the strawberry and mango smoothies. Unfortunately, freshly squeezed orange juice was only available one day. The service staff were always friendly and cheerful, which contributed to the great holiday atmosphere. You always have to reserve a table for a specific time, but this always worked out well, and we always got a table for the eight of us.

Is this even food? How bad can an almost €50 evening buffet be? Even the constant refills of the all-inclusive beer or wine don't help. This cafeteria slop is disgusting. I think if you were starving, you might be satisfied. On top of that, the chairs and tables are dirty and sticky. There's also old ketchup on the chair legs and walls. And then there are the utter slobs of guests—children drinking directly from the buffet carafes or from the containers, putting things back, etc., etc.—and the staff reacts...not at all! Simply revolting. Just looking at the partially unwashed plates and the dirt in the corners, the health department should shut this place down. Finally, there's urine in the toilet, and it stinks terribly. The breakfast, surprisingly, is perfectly fine for the price! Fried eggs, sausages, salmon...everything you need. ... Unfortunately, the place is still dirty. Clearly: Don't eat in the park!!! Pizza, burgers, or the grill restaurant are also recommended.

Friendly staff, wide selection, and reasonable prices. Prices include drinks, and kids aged 0 to 2 eat for free. Had a good meal with the children.

The lady at reception was not very friendly, the assigned table was still dirty, and the food had little choice and was not tasty. We will not eat here a second time.

After reading so many negative reviews, we went to the evening buffet with low expectations and were pleasantly surprised! There was a wide selection of different dishes, sides, salads, and desserts. You can also help yourself to anything you like at the drinks station. There's even a lower-level refill station for the kids. The food itself is perfectly fine—tasty, plentiful, and flavorful. Anyone looking for something to complain about will find something here, but overall, it's a solid selection and good food. 👍 The price is steep, no doubt, but with drinks and the huge dessert selection included, it's absolutely reasonable for a one-off on vacation. Our teens definitely devoured everything they could have wanted. If you're not expecting a Michelin-starred meal in a quiet setting, you'll be happy with the food. We would definitely come back next time.

We went for breakfast here during our weekend getaway. There is plenty of choice. The atmosphere isn't special. However, the ladies working there really radiated enjoyment in their work. It is certainly a nice place to do with a child.

My experience at Evergreenz Restaurant was extremely disappointing. It is definitely not worth the money. Several food trays were left empty and were not refilled, while many salads and dishes had no labels, making it impossible to know what was being served. What shocked me the most was the attitude of the staff. When we asked simple questions, staff members responded aggressively and even raised their voices at us. Such behavior towards paying customers is completely unacceptable. Poor service, poor organization, and very poor value for money. I would not recommend Evergreenz Restaurant and will certainly not be returning.

The prices here are completely exorbitant, but unfortunately, that's typical for Center Parcs. On our departure day, we wanted to have breakfast there, but were turned away very rudely. They claimed it was full and there was no room for two adults and a toddler, even though at least half the tables were empty. So we had to wait for 45 minutes with a hungry child, and we were already planning to head home at that hour. That's not what I call family-friendly.

My wife and I stayed at CP Port Zélande for the second time in March, and on our second visit, we tried "Evergreenz" for the first time. We were very pleasantly surprised, especially since we were there midweek and there were hardly any other guests—maybe 10-15, 20 at the most. I didn't count. The welcome at 6:00 p.m. was friendly and we were able to choose our own table. There were plenty of free tables, after all. The food, or rather the buffet, was mostly freshly prepared and plentiful. Besides various side dishes like potatoes, fries, rice, etc., there were two or three types of meat and fish, soups and sauces, fast food, lots of fresh salads, delicious desserts, and so on. I can't even list everything. And many of the items, as far as possible, weren't pre-made from industrial ingredients but were truly freshly prepared. You could taste the difference. In other words: If you don't get your fill here or can't find anything to your liking, then you're probably beyond help and/or extremely picky, sorry. The only thing that was truly "very well done" was the beef fillet, which was a bit tough and chewy, but hey, there's always something, isn't there? 😉 And if something did happen to run out, it was replenished within minutes. However, I have no idea what it's like when the place is packed. It's quite possible there might be something to complain about then. Therefore, I/we give "Evergreenz" full marks, which, in my opinion, is the only truly recommendable restaurant in all the Center Parcs resorts in terms of value for money.

It's okay. Don't expect much, but it fills you up. The price of €90 for two adults is steep for what you get…

It's quite alright for a breakfast buffet. Similar to those in most hotels. However, when you consider the price per person, they are significantly cheaper than most hotels.

We ate here with our two children, aged 16 and 14, who had to pay full price, bringing the total to €171.80. For that price, they offered us lukewarm soup as a starter. Next came spare ribs that had simply been heated in a combi-steamer. The meatballs tasted really old in a sauce, and so did the meat. Even the fries were dried out. The burger patties at the kids' buffet were the same for two hours. The soft-serve ice cream machine hadn't been used in quite some time. It's a shame, the restaurant could be so good if the owner and manager enjoyed their work a bit more. The woman at reception was incredibly kind and friendly, and the only person we saw working the entire time. We were very disappointed with the food; for the price, the four of us could have had so much more. When we left, we brought these issues up and reached an agreement with the manager that I think everyone can live with.

Even if it were my last meal, I still wouldn't have eaten. I'm never coming back 🤮

We had the buffet breakfast. It was generally delicious and had a good selection. It wasn't crowded. The café was very nice, with lots of greenery. There was a hard play area, which was great. It was a bit pricey, though. Breakfast was 20 euros per person. It's easier to cook in your room; the kitchen is very good and has everything you need. We just didn't know that.

Evergreenz was part of our package and was a great solution for our arrival day. Thanks to the package, it was also much more affordable. The food was well-stocked and regularly replenished. It was tasty (not exceptional, but certainly fine) and it was quiet. Part of the seating area was even closed due to the low number of guests. The tables were neatly cleaned, and the clearing was done by the guests themselves in a courteous manner. We had dinner and breakfast here once, and both meals were well-prepared. It's not a luxury restaurant, but it's certainly a fine place to eat.

We had a very pleasant evening with excellent staff. We were warmly welcomed, had a lovely meal, and were seated comfortably. Ignace, Nadia, Rune, and Flore.

A table was reserved for 7 p.m. Almost everything was empty. A few things were refilled, but not all of them. We had to keep asking, and then we still got some. Sometimes the staff made an effort, apologized, and even fetched a pot of pasta from the neighboring restaurant. The delivery didn't arrive on time, there were more guests than expected, etc. But how could so many more guests suddenly show up when reservations are required? We had booked the buffet for 7-9 p.m. The food couldn't be as good as gone by 7:15 p.m. What was left was really delicious. Bottom line: If everything's there, it's definitely worth the money.

The food was okay; the steak was mentioned as needing a longer cooking time, and it was improved. If you include drinks like wine or beer, the price is reasonable. There was also enough choice for children.

After a long break, we returned to Evergreenz for the breakfast buffet. We were pleasantly surprised: some things have improved, such as new jam dispensers, juice dispensers, and glasses. The food seems fresh, and we enjoyed it very much. The chairs are past their best, and the overall ambiance is relatively simple. The service deserves special mention: very friendly staff who make you feel welcome as a guest.

Far below our expectations. For that price, what you get is abysmal. The fish was dry and tasteless, the meat was bad, and the "steak" wasn't steak at all. The drinks you could help yourself to couldn't have been cheaper. It's a shame. I don't give a bad review without good reason, but this one deserved it.

Well, I don't understand the bad reviews. There were six of us there. The food was fresh and very good. There was plenty of everything, and it was freshly prepared or replenished. It's a family restaurant, so I don't need any major decorations, because I want it to be cozy. If anyone thinks, "That's expensive," I ask them: How much would this offer cost at home? Also, note that many drinks are included here, and it's "all you can eat and drink." If anyone has a problem, just say so. Everyone is very nice and finds solutions. We were definitely very satisfied and send our best regards to the kitchen and their staff. You're doing a great job!

All you can eat for €43.50, but the quality was disappointing. Many dishes tasted the same and were lukewarm. The staff was polite, but for this price, I really expected better.

What a disgrace! Little choice, cold or finished. And then 37.50 p.p. I have never eaten so badly. Children's corner empty all the time while it was not busy. 1 hour wait for a few badly baked pancakes.

Very tasty food and friendly staff. I really liked the curry chickpea dish and celery salad. The salad buffet is definitely recommended, cold pasta salad, couscous salad, hussar and potato salad, cucumbers with dill etc. All conceivable spreads for bread and 2 different soups. I had a delicious steak, chicken satay, sea bass fillet, sweet potato fries, broccoli, salmon with green asparagus and pancake with warm cherries and whipped cream. We also didn't think things looked tasty like the "nasi goreng" and the frikandel/viandel, but we just don't take those kinds of things. If you have a big appetite, you have more than enough choice. I've never been to an All you can eat where I take everything or think everything looks tasty - that was no different here. Dessert buffet was great and I had some cakes (carrot cake recommended!), chocolate mousse, lots of watermelon, soft serve ice cream with toppings and white chocolate fountain with every conceivable dipstick on it. The staff was friendly. All drinks were included - 6 soft drinks, cold water, shaved ice, every conceivable hot drink and beer and wine. It was part of our package. I think €42.50 is too much for every All you can eat (despite the fact that you can easily get it out but I don't like to eat a lot). However, it was highly recommended and we will definitely go back!

Shamefully bad food. It is a very small buffet to choose from, not in relation to the price. The dishes are not replenished. The cold dishes are not cooled properly. All fish and meat are dry. Even the fries weren't crispy. Lots of flies, on all the food. At the end of the evening everyone had a stomach ache. Waste of money!!!!

It is nice for the children that they can choose what they eat. But other than that it's downright terribly bad. The choice is mediocre and everything tastes chemically, heavily processed or tasteless. The staff is friendly and tries to make something of it.

We were here very early, already at 5:00 PM. So more than enough choice. We were there with 2 adults and 3 children (13/11/0). The food was okay. Quite a few dishes to choose from. The downside is that they are all European dishes. Not a tasty Asian or Mexican dish. All very safe. The dishes that were there were also not exciting in terms of taste. There were also quite a few flies. They were going to temporarily dissolve it with cloves in lemon. This worked well. The buffet is part of our package. I can well imagine that if you pay for this separately it will be too expensive. It is (unfortunately) not that special. The service was nice and helpful. Explanation at the cash register, explanation from the chefs.

The sauce is totally old. Nothing new is made from cold meat. The rice. It's also totally outdated. Chocolate fountain doesn't work. And all of this at 6 p.m It cost us 110 euros, it was just catastrophic and you had to look for service or walk around here and drink tea, that was the last time we were such a hassle.

I won't be writing a negative review anytime soon. But I can only say that I really thought this was an insult to us as guests. Price-quality ratio is completely gone, products are gone. Children's buffet "keep warm" unheated. Minimal choices, placing frozen products, no structure in the maximum time that hot dishes that are too cold are on the buffet. The chocolate fountain that is written about in the brochures and on the site has been turned into a hot pot where you scoop it out. The pancakes that are nicely browned in the brochure have actually only just come into contact with the pan. Staff can't really handle it and react irritated when you ask for a plate. The manager has the feeling that you are disturbing him if you ask for something that is no longer on the buffet, and the answer is that he was already working on it. What do you mean, putting your guest first and treating them hospitably? Unfortunately, all you can drink also means that you mainly have carbonated postmix drinks, tap water and beer. It would have been nice if there was apple juice or something else in a bottle for the children... Possibly for an additional charge, so that an evening out is still good for every family member. Somewhere I had it in my head that Center Parcs radiated quality and not a host city Orange restaurant feeling. Too bad, not recommended... Next time just go to something in the area! 🥂

I have already visited many cheaper all you can eat restaurants that were much better, if you cannot cook a steak how the customer wants it, it is better not to offer this, for example. the beer tap was broken and they put a dirty jug of warm beer in its place, then the soft drink thing was also broken. The only positive thing that can be reported is the friendliness of the only Dutch-speaking staff member present. Cold and tasteless food, a chef who doesn't know the difference between medium steak and an insole, etc. Too many misses to mention! Ignore it, for 40 euros per person this is pure fraud.

This really wasn't worth it, So incredibly bad. I come from the catering industry myself, but this hit everything. Soups from a carton. Salads that are much better at Aldi. Yes they had a cook behind the griddle. But the steak was already cooked and had been on a warming plate for 5 minutes. So tough and cold. There was even a pork fillet steak... it was a frozen hamburger. Babi Pangang or Fou You hai? Boiled snot. Really dirty. Chicken was undercooked and the meat that was cut on the spot was extremely tough and lukewarm. Everything just wasn't tasty. One cook even took a piece of meat from a container, put it in his mouth and continued cutting meat. Even tried the Nasi Goreng... Canned is even better. What a tough and snotty experience. The only advantage... everything is free and the desserts were OK. I really won't come here again, how bad. It is not worth the more than 80 Euro for 2 people at all. Time for a Hygiene and Goods Check. Food that is below 60 degrees or that is not cooked can really make you sick. Our toilet was our best friend this evening. You can eat for two hours for the price, we were gone within 30 minutes. You have been warned.

I only rate the food; everyone decides for themselves whether the price is too high. The staff was very friendly. Food was constantly replenished. Steak was freshly fried. Everything was very tasty. There is an extra small buffet for children. Great selection of desserts and fresh fruit. Salad in different variations. I recommend reserving a table in advance. The only thing I would complain about is the canned potato salad.

Evening buffet 40€ sounds like a lot at first, but you also get a lot on offer. Anyone who goes out to eat quickly realizes that no matter where they go, they can easily spend €25-35 per dish without drinks and the quality is uncertain.

We regularly vacation in the park and gave the buffet a chance on two vacations - 2016 and 2023. In 2016 it wasn't worth repeating for us, but in 2023 it was really off-putting and not at all recommended. The hygienic conditions were unappetizing, as was the entire buffet. For the otherwise super nice holiday park, the buffet is really more than sad.

The self-service food was reasonably tasty and of good quality. The ambience has something of a self-service motorway rest stop. €40 per adult is definitely too expensive. In my opinion, €30 would be appropriate.

Super restaurant. This evening with eight people, three people with allergies, 2 with milk/soy and one with chocolate. Reported this to the chef. This food was specially prepared in the kitchen to prevent contamination. Super. I would like to reward the kitchen team with a big 10. Super .we will definitely come back again. We are happy and they are happy.👍😉.

Upon arrival we mentioned that our girls have allergies, the chef came out of the kitchen and walked us around the dishes to show us what we could and could not eat, we also cooked/baked separately according to our choice and we were allowed to ask anything in between. All the staff were very friendly and made it a party, this was the first time we had such a nice meal out, big compliments to your team and the super chef, all hard workers and a heart for the holidaymakers. The cook said you are on holiday then I wouldn't want this to be ruined by the wrong food and sick children! The quality of the food was very good, we all enjoyed it!

We can't understand all the negative reviews. We were there at 6pm on a very busy Saturday evening. The staff (although apparently understaffed) were super friendly and helpful. Yes, the food isn't star cuisine, but it definitely doesn't have to be. If you want a good all you can eat buffet, you will definitely find something here. The price is of course slightly higher. But if you consider that all drinks - including wine and beer - are included for 2 hours, it's ok again. Of course it's cheaper elsewhere. But then you have to get in the car and drive somewhere else. Therefore 5 out of 5 stars. Don't let grumpies ruin your lovely evening 😂

Chicken was red, steak was well done, cheese soufle looked like a brick, pea soup from a packet (too watery) plus little choice and variety in the food. For 160 euros for 4 people you expect a bit more quality, especially in a park! Never again !

This is really too ridiculous for words to dare to ask money for this. Very poor quality. The only plus was that my granddaughter had the night of her life. She can only walk and was close to the play corner. But that's really the only positive thing about this one. Booked as the end of our family weekend, but this is really a blemish for such a beautiful park as Port Zelande.

The restaurant was excellent. But a kitchen roll instead of a napkin is a bit cheap and has the atmosphere of a refectory, and a mat to place your plate on would be a small added value. The dining experience is also in the details.

Super Familienrestaurant! Wir haben sowohl das Frühstücksbuffet ausprobiert, als auch das Abendbuffet. Und beides ist absolut überzeugend! Zum Frühstück gibt es eine ordentliche Auswahl zu einem sehr günstigen Preis, denn Säfte und heiße Getränke sind so viel man viel inklusive. Der Geschmack ist bei allen von mir probierten Speisen sehr gut. Zum Abendessen ist der Preis schon sehr viel höher, allerdings ist gezapftes Bier und Wein inklusive. Außerdem ist die Auswahl noch größer und alles ist wirklich toll geschmacklich. Der gebratene Lachs ist zb super, ebenso wie die Curry Antipasti etc. Softeis, einen Schokobrunnen etc. Gibt es auch. Ich kann gar nicht alles aufzählen! Das Ambiente ist gut, viele Kinder und super Spielmöglichkeiten. Ich bin begeistert und wir haben es im Urlaub öfter besucht. Klare Empfehlung für Familien mit Kindern! Danke an das Personal, die sich wirklich viel Mühe geben, und sogar Babygläschen umsonst rausgeben.

Maar het zijn niet alleen de omgeving en het decor die indruk maken. De service van het Evergreenz Restaurant verdient ook grote lof. Het personeel is vriendelijk, attent en uiterst professioneel. Es tut mir leid aber ich habe in ander Center Parcs besser gegessen und die Auswahl war größer.....

Gebrek aan personeel"!! Alle begrip maar dat zie je en proef je terug in het eten en het automaten drinken. Niet best, maar misschien ben ik verwend.

Goed gegeten alleen leeftijd klopt niet op site 2 uur onbeperkt maar is 1.5 uur verschil van parken klopt eigenlijk niet

Eten rap koud en weinig keuze. Vond veel geld voor wat je maar kon kiezen. Bediening was wel immens vriendelijk bij aankomst. Werd niet bijgevuld

Het is niet meer wat het was. Volledige zelfbediening en afruimen. Eten was lauw en smaak was net voldoende. 1,5 uur de tijd en dan wel aardig aan de prijs. De kids waren wel tevreden.

Prijs is stevig (een kleine 40 euro pp) in verhouding, maar dat kan je verwachten voor een parkrestaurant op centerparcs. Onze ervaring is dat het eten goed is, niet perfect en niet heel uitgebreid maar prima te eten en je kan blijven opscheppen. Het is leuk aangekleed. Het personeel (vooral de dame bij binnenkomst) deed echt heel erg haar best om het iedereen naar de zin te maken. Voor haar dan ook de 5 sterren voor de service.

Bin das zwanzigste oder fünfundzwansigste mal hier, auch wenn der Park in die Jahre gekommen ist, ist es immer wieder schön hier.

All you can eat Buffet Restaurant im Center Parc Port zelande. Wir waren an einem Abend da. Wir waren zufrieden. Salatbuffet war nicht so gut, aber man könnte dort auch etwas finden. Das Angebot an Hauptgerichten und Beilagen war gut. Für jeden gab es etwas. Steaks, Schweinesteaks und Lachs wurden frisch gebraten und es war immer etwas vorrätig. Nachspeisenbuffet war sehr gut. Auch für jeden etwas dabei, Softeismaschine zum selber zapfen und ein Schokobrunnen. Getränke sind inklusive, auch Bier und Wein.

Ontbijtbuffet gehad in dit restaurant. Keuze is elke dag vrijwel hetzelfde, maar er is keuze genoeg dus dit was geen probleem. Gevarieerd van yoghurt met muesli of fruit, tot broodjes (bruin en wit) met zoet of vleesbeleg. Tevens warme keuzes als spek, ei, spiegelei, toast, champignons en ui. Koffie is geen koffie te noemen, maar de sapjes en yogodranken zijn heerlijk. Prima ontbijtje om de dag te starten.

Eten viel mee, konden wat meer warme groenten zijn in het buffet. Ook werd het vlees niet voldoende bijgevuld, startte om 19u en pas tegen 20 na was dit beschikbaar. na 20u10 ook geen vlees meer bijgebakken.

Prijs kwaliteit is prima voor 37,50. Vooraf stokbrood met kruidenboter en diverse keuzes aan salades. Ruime keuze in hoofdgerechten. Toetjes buffet redelijk uitgebreid met taart, koek en mousse. Een aan de andere kant een ijsmachine om zelf te tappen en ijs te versieren met allerlei toppings en chocolade fontein. Ook een kaasplank samen te stellen met diverse kazen. Drank is inclusief. Vriendelijke manager. Prima georganiseerd.

Sehr unruhig und keine schöne Atmosphäre zum Essen. Sehr unaufgeräumtes und dreckiges Buffett. Außerdem sind die Servicekräfte stark überfordert und kommen der anfallenden Arbeit nicht hinter her.

Wat een gezellig team, heerlijk eten en fijne sfeer, we hebben van zowel de heerlijke maaltijden in de avond én bij het ontbijt genoten! Zoveel lekkers, wat een feest! Echt vakantie!

Misschien niet de grootste keuze van de wereld maar wel heel lekker om te doen!

Helft prima in orde, andere helft veel te lang onder warmhoud lampen en verpieterd.

Eten was lauw en weinig keuze. Toetjes buffet was goed! Gewoon te duur voor wat ze bieden!

Niet slecht maar ook zeker niet goed. Te doen voor wat je betaald. Er is wel zeker steeds voldoende te nemen.

Makkelijk, en elke dag iets anders op het menu. Zowel voor volwassenen als kinderen lekker eten. Tip: waardebon kopen voordat je op vakantie gaat.

Ontbijt is oké keus genoeg, Diner buffet is niet de 35 euro waard drank wel bij inbegrepen maar weinig keus en geen drinken zonder koolzuur. En er worden goedkopen vlees soorten geserveerd beetje jammer.
