Family Wolvega in Wolvega

This was the last time we ordered from here. We ordered at 5:30 and the food didn't arrive until 7:15 PM. This is the umpteenth time we've had to wait this long. The person I spoke to told me they were always on time, so this wasn't true, as if I was imagining things. As if that wasn't enough, we received a burnt noodle dish and barely any satay sauce. I don't want to get into a phone conversation about this, but this simply isn't good service. If there aren't enough staff to deliver, don't offer that option. I rarely write reviews, but this time it's justified.

We had a delicious meal today. Despite it being busy, the service was excellent. We received friendly service throughout, and the food arrived quickly. The food was also very tasty. Definitely recommended!

November 22, 2025 Unfortunately, I received a poor-quality meal. It was supposed to be delivered between 5:40 and 6:00 PM. After calling at 6:10 PM, it was delivered at 6:17 PM. The satay sauce and specialty sauce containers were tiny, and to make matters worse, everything had cooled down considerably by the time we received the food. Such a shame...

Excellent service, delicious food

We were torn between going to McDonald's or ordering from here. We're so glad we decided to get food here. The veggie beyond cheese burger is THE burger that makes all other burgers redundant. It's fresh, crispy, and truly fantastic. The service was fast and friendly. If we're ever in the area again, we know where we'll be eating :)

We were welcomed and treated with great hospitality. The snacks and ice cream were delicious.

I ordered a Dubai shake, but only some green syrup on top. The taste was different than described "full creamy pistachio taste". Unfortunately the taste was just vanilla, no pistachio taste. A huge turn off, while I am used to better. After having made the remark to the staff there was no apology or anything other than just "we will talk about it". Sorry that doesn't help me.

Good snack bar, fries and snacks were good. The veggie burger sandwich was very good, and the bacon cheeseburger was also very tasty.

Ordering took a very long time, I had to wait a long time, and it is not value for money

A lovely lunchroom (upscale snack bar) in a relaxed and elegant setting. The children were given coloring pages and puzzles to entertain themselves with, which was certainly well received. The fries, snacks, burgers, and plates were a hit! We'll definitely be back after an afternoon at MonkeyTown.

Extremely disappointing. The sito stick was burnt, the fries were rock hard, and the hamburger buns were so small you could barely see the patties. The ham sandwich had a burnt ham bone. I will definitely not order from here again, and I advise everyone to order elsewhere.

Very good snack bar/restaurant. Quality and service are also good, but you pay for that. It is cheaper elsewhere in Wolvega. Recently the interior was renovated and it looks nice and modern!

We have been in this new Family Wolvega case. Ordered coffee and placed our order, but the order did not arrive, so we asked when it would arrive after 20 minutes. It turned out that the order had been forgotten and it was very quiet in the shop. People who picked up all went before us. I don't think this is normal, so people have very bad staff in this business. We were the only people sitting there. Just signed off for a coffee and never left this Family Wolvega business again, how bad. Menno the Cow was a lot better, but yes..... Don't come here again to this new business Wolvega Family.

After I clearly indicated via online ordering that we wanted the fries to be softly fried, we again (second time in a row) received crispy fried fries. I'm not one to just write a bad review. So I called first. All I hear is: apologies, I will tell my colleagues. Anything else? Uhm, no???? Okay, have a nice day. And with that the connection was broken. What shitty service! That's not how you treat customers! I also indicated that this is the 2nd time in a row. She wasn't interested at all. This is very unfortunate!

First time after the takeover of snack point, but certainly the last time the fries were well done, I also asked for them, but preferably in clean frying oil, this was just nasty and therefore not eaten. The snacks were also overcooked, which I didn't ask for! and also the strong taste of old frying fat and if it was cheap I could have made peace with it, but this is really not good.

Nice dining room with seating area separated from the snack bar. Delicious affordable menus! Good staff but sometimes need to raise the alarm.

Thoughtful staff And a delicious meal

Food was ok but quite expensive and small portions. Cutlery was dirty and staff was too busy with other things, very customer unfriendly. There are more and better snack bars in Wolvega that you should go to.

Fries were way too salty, the cup of joppie sauce was minimal for the €3.10 it costs. Prices are on the high side considering the quality they deliver. Next time I'll try a different snack bar.

What a nice cafeteria! We ordered food here for 8p on a Saturday evening. Very busy but we didn't have to wait very long. Hard-working staff, and a well-structured setting so that everyone received their food on time and neatly. The food was great!!

Delicious takeaway food! A few tips: put the flavor on the packaging because the difference between the burgers and the milkshakes was not clearly visible and the prawn crackers had become soggy because of the satay, perhaps give them separately?

It is clear that price increases are happening everywhere, but it is a shame that you cannot sell good fries for that kind of money. In other words, dry fries.

At first this was called "snack point" with a different owner, with better food, better atmosphere and so on. The food tastes way too cheap for the price. Now I can go to MacDonald's even better!

The business itself has become very nice since the takeover. It's just a shame that the quality of the fries and many snacks has deteriorated considerably. I don't know whether this is a choice of the owner or of the Family franchise, but 'quality first' was clearly abandoned during the takeover. Too bad!

Unfortunately, only bad experiences since the takeover. Cannot be reached by telephone, monthly promotions that remain the same for months. Orders that need to be delivered at 7:00 PM will arrive at 8:00 PM. Apparently you can no longer order (with delivery) an hour before closing. Comments on orders are also no longer read. All in all, very dissatisfied and I doubt whether we will order anything from Family again.

Snackpoint de Passage bestaat niet meer. Is nu family Wolvega. En lijkt op het eerste gezicht. En goede aanwinst.

Geen drinken of snoepjes meer in de kindermenu's. Geen snoep vind ik prima maar Geen drinken is echt waardeloos. Veel te duur voor wat je krijgt. Wij hebben nu 1 keer besteld nu ze verder gaan onder de naam family wolvega. Maar was ook meteen de laatste keer. Jammer.

De passage is net een week familie en super mooie zaak geworden. Lekker eten, leuke sfeer en mooie variatie eten voor een betaalbare prijs.

Wir würden satt, das war es aber auch.

Zalige tosti en broodje kroket gegeten....jammer dat het personeel niet echt op de hoogte was van de soort kroketten die ze verkopen....

We gaan er regelmatig naar toe om te eten. Het eten is prima en bediening zeer vriendelijk. Het is wel een drukke tent om er te zitten best gezellig

Prima snackbar. Vlotte bediening, goeie kwaliteit eten en ruime keus. Gemakkelijk bereikbaar en vrij parkeren. Voor ter plekke eten, meenemen of bezorgen.

I've ordered here a couple of times. The food is always great. When it's busy, waiting times can be a little bit longer. But overall, if you want a good snack, this is the place to go in Wolvega! A+++

Lekker en goede service aardig personeel

Het was onwijs druk, op een zaterdag. Deze mensen waren onderbemand. Maar alles ging goed. Heb met plezier zitten kijken hoe zij te werk gingen ondanks de drukte. Ik was onder de indruk, en het eten was lekker. De service was ook erg goed zeg! Erg vriendelijke Mensen zeg.

Heerlijke snacks en goed gebakken friet. Jammer dat het online bestellen niet makkelijk gaat

Vandaag bestelt en laten bezorgen, eten was goed. Beetje jammer van de krokketten die overleden waren waren door het bezorgen. Gebeld en gelijk netjes opgepakt, heerlijke krokketen nabezorgd en nog snel ook!

Gewoon een goede eet gelegenheid

Goeie cafetaria, frietjes zijn de beste uit de omgeving. Altijd druk, lange wachttijden als je eten gaat halen zonder het van te voren besteld te hebben. Laatst kon er niet telefonisch en ook niet online besteld worden, waarschijnlijk door de drukte en/of personeelsgebrek. Hierdoor zijn bestellingen niet compleet etc etc. Het zou jammer zijn als zo'n bedrijf door zijn eigen succes, door goeie spullen te leveren, ten onder zou gaan.

Gezellig, lekker, leuke aanbiedingen en vriendelijk personeel

Zeer goede cafetaria met vriendelijke bediening. Veel variatie en lekkere gegrilde kip.

Vriendelijk, behulpzaam, snel klaar en lekker eten.

Eerder altijd zeer tevreden. En dat zijn we nog steeds over het aanbod. Vandaag laten bezorgen. Vriendelijke jongen en keurig op tijd! Maar helaas was de patat enorm slap , evenals de snacks. Het broodje hamburger was een grote smurrie. Heel jammer! Dit keer dus niet lekker gegeten. Ik denk (hoop) dat het te maken had met bezorgen.

Hebben besteld dus thuis laten bezorgen kan daarom weinig over de sfeer zeggen de patat was helaas lauw maar de rest was overheerlijk alleen de bon klopte niet met wart er aan totaal bedrag werd genoemd verder vriendelijke bezorger en redenlijk snel 40 min met zoeken hahahamaar hij belde netjes of ie goed zat toen heerlijk gegeten was zelfs teveel!

Ruim 2 uur lang gewacht op het eten en geen contact met de zaak te krijgen. Erg slecht.
